Vendors will not honor Way.com conformation
November 15, 2023

Comfort Suites MCO Airport Parking

1936 McCoy Rd, Orlando, Florida, *******_______________________________________________________________________________
The above company refused to honor my prepaid confirmation stating that Way.com did not pay their invoices. I had to purchase "last minute" parking at a considerable cost. They still have not responded to my refund request. It has been 3 weeks. I will not do business with them again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
August 20, 2023

I am giving this miserable excuse for a company 0 stars. I would give negative stars if it were possible! I booked a parking reservation with Way.com at a parking lot near Newark Airport for my vacation. A few hours before I was to leave for Newark Airport, I received notification that my flight had been canceled by United Airlines and there wasn't another flight to Cancun for several days through United. In order to preserve my vacation, I had to purchase new airline tickets through American Airlines leaving from Philadelphia International Airport. As soon as I was able to secure the tickets I attempted to cancel my reservations for the parking lot in Newark through the app but it would not allow me to do so. I then attempted to call Way.com offices and no one answered the phone, nor was there even an answering service to leave a message. I also tried to call the parking lot directly to cancel but was told that I could not cancel with them directly because I had booked through Way.com as a third party. With that being said, it was literally impossible for me to cancel my booking before the reservation start time. This took place late Saturday evening/Early Sunday morning. I couldn't speak to anyone at the time because they were closed. I also couldn't get anyone on Monday morning when I tried to call them from Mexico. Having been at my wits end, I finally got someone to email me back through their email feature only to be told that I couldn't get a refund because I tried to cancel after the start time. I expressed to them all of the steps I had taken to try to cancel and that it was a result of their website and them being closed over the weekend which made it impossible for me to cancel before. They asked for me to provide screenshots of my call logs which I did showing that I tried toc all and cancel before. Once I did what they requested, they then wrote me back saying that they wouldn't be refunding me my money because I hadn't tried to cancel beforehand.

What makes me even more upset is the fact that they can see that I ended up booking through them to park at a lot in Philadelphia for the exact same timeframe! This is a terrible company and I see why they have so many negative reviews on this site. Avoid at all costs!

BAIT AND SWITCH! BEWARE!
August 18, 2023

I booked a lot with Way.com (a/k/a cheapestairportparking.com) at JFK that, according to the booking page, did not charge for SUVs. I was told the day before I was to leave that the lot was full and I had been moved to a new lot that charged $7 per day extra for SUVs. I contacted Way.com immediately and was told to email them the receipt for the extra charge when I paid it at the new lot. I did as requested and was told "There will be no refund of the amount you paid for the over-sized vehicle at the lot." I have never in my 20+ years of traveling had such a terrible experience with airport parking. Bait and switch seems to be the name of their game. DO NOT BOOK WITH WAY.COM OR CHEAPESTAIRPORTPARKING.COM!

My car broke down on the way
February 7, 2023

My car died literally on the way to the airport. I emailed *******@cheapestairportparking.com which forwarded my cancellation request to way.com. (First let me say I thought I was reserving directly with the parking lot, but no cheapestairportparking was sending me to a third party, fourth actually.)
My reservation was for 5 days, starting at 7:00 am. I emailed at 7:18 that I wouldn't make it unfortunately and needed to cancel. way.com replied in 2 hours "our policy stated you have to cancel before check-in." Well I never checked in. They weren't willing to even reduce the fee. Were they actually paying the lot? Doubtful. Anyway, I responded charge me for a day and refund 4. That was 6.5 hours ago (1:00 pm PST). I doubt I will get any response. It's hard to park a car being towed to a machanic. There is a culture of we don't give a s^*t about anything but money. We don't even care it you are a unsatisfied customer, they are a dime a dozen. No consideration for the customer. Just no consideration.
I saw "FREE cancellation". I read the reviews before purchasing the reservation and thought there's no way I'll need to cancel. Famous last words.
Don't risk losing everything to save $10
Be warned, it's just not worth it.

Tip for consumers:

Don’t, not worth it. Save $10 if you don’t have a problem, lose everything if you do because that don’t care about repeat business. It’s the World Wide Web and there’s more fish in the sea

Say goodbye to your money if your plan changes. Deceitful price and terms and conditions
December 15, 2022

This is my first time using it and it shall also be the last time.

My initial plan was to be driven to the airport by my roommate. Plan changed 2 hours before so I opted to drive myself instead. I did a quick google to find out how much parking cost at Atlanta airport and in the process saw an ad of Way.com for much cheaper price so I went in to book. It was advertised as $4.95 with free shuttle so I went in and booked for 9 days. After I got the charge, I did a quick calculation and it turned out to be $6.95 per day (BEFORE fees and taxes), not $4.95 as advertised. I went back to the website to check, it did say "FROM $4.95" but no where on the website said the exact price. From 4.95 to HOW MUCH? Just charge people whatever price you want? But at that point I had already paid and was in a hurry so I just left.

Later that day I had some issues with my flight and couldn't fly anymore so I went back to the hotel to grab my car and left. Before I left I told the hotel what had happened and asked for a refund. The receptionist didn't seem to be surprised when I asked for a refund and she just simply asked me where I booked, was it with the hotel or with Way, I told her Way so she told me to contact Way. I was under the assumption that I could get at least part of my money back since the receptionist didn't act surprised at all.

Emailed Way the next day and they said "according to our terms and conditions, blah blah blah, can't have money back if it was after the reservation day". I went to read the terms and conditions, there was a line saying "In a case where a refund is approved whether it is before the check-in time or AFTER, Way.com, in its sole discretion, may offer refunds in the form of credits" so I told them I would be happy with credits. Still a no. So I asked them again in which circumstances a refund in a form of credit was approved because it was not stated clearly in their terms and conditions. They never answered that question of mine and still said "no, can't refund you because it was already past the reservation time, we already made the payment to hotel". Totally BS, when I talked to the hotel, they were absolutely fine with refunding me the money, just that they couldn't do it because I had booked it with Way.

I told Way to contact the hotel, get the money back from the hotel and give me the money back, and they still screenshot the line of terms and conditions where it said refund was not possible after check-in and showed it to my face. And the funny thing is, in the very same screenshot of T&C they sent me, right below that line was the line: "In a case where a refund is approved whether it is before the check-in time or AFTER, Way.com, in its sole discretion, may offer refunds in the form of credits". Okay, so refund after check-in time is totally possible, just have to be in form of credits and they still refused to give me credits?

Lessons learnt:
1. Only buy parking services where you don't pay in full beforehand because you can lose all your money if things change. Choose pay as you go parking services. Or at least buy with services where they refund you the money if unused. Sooo, stay away from Way

2. If you have to use Way, do what other reviewers suggested which is only book for one or two days and later extend as you go. It will be a nuisance and time consuming but you will not lose your hard-earned money to some greedy people

3. BOOK WITH THE HOTEL DIRECTLY. The way the receptionist told me, it is very obvious that these hotels take the booking themselves. So call the hotels directly, book with them, it will probably be even cheaper than going through a third party, and you do not risk losing your money because the hotel will refund your money (make sure you ask the hotel about their refund policy beforehand).

Stay away from it

SCAM
July 22, 2022

Beware of renting from them! I made reservations with EXPRESS LAX LONG TERM AIRPORT PARKING

I made reservations for 5am and called them at 2:30am asking if i had to be there exactly by 5am for check in or can i come around 5:30 or 5:35am? The guy on the phone said i can either come in at 5am or ANYTIME AFTER was ok too. So i got there at 5:25am and saw a car having trouble getting in even though they kept scanning their QR code. I tried to scan mine and it wouldn't open up the gate either. Both me and the car before me were frantically on the phone trying to call the company but no one would pick up. Eventually there was a total of 6 cars waiting to get in. As we were waiting, we saw about 4 cars exiting the garage. Eventually one of the guys got ahold of someone and had her on speaker and she said "the lot is full, so the only thing i can do is refund you." We were all shocked considering we had reservations! She was firm about not being able to do anything so everyone ended up leaving. I had 45 min left to find another garage and make it to my flight. Anxiety much?

Anyways i finally get to talk to an agent on their chat option and they basically told me to send in proof that i did try calling MULTIPLE times and proof that i had to pay for another garage. But even after all that, they said no they can't refund me because my calls were made 30 min after my check in time AND even after explaining AGAIN that i was told that it was ok to show up later, they still didn't care. NOWHERE on the email confirmations or their website does it state what time you have to be there by. They said the only thing they can do is give me waybucks in exchange but why tf would i still want to continue using them? Luckily my credit card company was able to refund me.

Also on their app, the reason why they have such high ratings is because your review has to be approved by them first. So if it's a bad review, they most likely won't post it at all. Because the reviews i see on other websites are really bad meanwhile their app reviews are all 5 stars. WHAT A JOKE

Misleading... Consumer beware.
May 29, 2020

I made parking reservation through a website called cheapestairportparking.com. Since I was unfamiliar with the website I made sure to read the refund policy, which stated parking purchases could be cancelled for a full refund up to the start date of your reservation. Due to some changes in my flight I had to cancel my parking reservation so I emailed the company asking to cancel my reservation and refunded the full amount. I received an email from Way stating that due to Covid19 they would process my refund in Waybucks. I immediately emailed the company back (Way) to let them know that nowhere on this website(cheapestairportparking.com) did it state changes to their policy due to Covid19, which is misleading. Most people and businesses have been affected by Covid19, but that is no reason for your company not to abide by your own refund policy or at least make your potential customers aware of your new status before they purchase your services. Shame on your company for faulty business practices. I will never do business with Way or any of your other faulty websites again. Consumer beware. Watch out for Way or any website associated with them.

DO NOT BOOK WITH WAY.COM IT IS A SCAM
April 1, 2020

I literally cannot send a strong enough warning about booking with Way.com. I just want to be clear from the start that my issue starts with a cancellation/promised refund predating the COVID-19 crisis by an entire month. I booked a garage on February 11 for a March 1 reservation and cancelled within a few hours, having booked a different garage through Way.com. They promptly responded and confirmed my cancellation, promising a refund in 5 to 7 days.

Flash forward to March 26: I get notification that the same garage that I had cancelled HAD RENEWED charging me $199 more dollars. Suspicious, I looked back to see that I had never actually been refunded. I have been exchanging emails with Way.com for a week now going absolutely nowhere. They literally copy and pasted their "new" refund policy saying nothing could be charged back to my credit card for reservations dated after February 25 and that I could only be refunded in Waybucks. Well, mine was dated February 11 so what gives? In addition, the first email offered me a 15% bonus on refunded Waybucks... which in a later email was changed to 10%. WHAT A F***ING JOKE.

In addition, in the beginning I was willing to accept Waybucks *however* I could not get the customer service assistant to acknowledge the correct amount that I was owed. I never received acknowledgement that I was requesting refund for 2 months or even the correct parking reservation. At this point, I will accept nothing but a refund on my credit card for both months and I am in the process of disputing the charges with my card company.

I've been back and forth via email for already too long given that the mistake is entirely on them. The most infuriating part is that they've had the balls to copy and paste the same response no less than 3 times now, which shows they are not even reading or considering my complaint.

Last warning: DO NOT TAKE THE WAYBUCKS. I called my garage to make sure that my reservation was good for March, seeing as Way.com has been totally incompetent. I had a suspicion they might have messed up the renewal. Turns out, they haven't even paid the garage themselves for either February or March reservations! If the garage terminates the contract with Way, I'll just be stuck with $400+ useless Waybucks. If this is happening to me, I'm sure it could happen to anyone.

Refused to give a refund
March 25, 2020

On Feb 7 I used way.com to book airport parking and paid $71. I cancelled the order for airport parking on March 11 and they acknowledge the confirmation and in a chat session I was informed that I would receive my refund in 7 to 10 business days. I cancelled my reservation within their window for a full refund. Attached is what their web site says with regards to cancellations 'You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours of the date and time of your reservation, simply go to your reservation on-line and cancel, call or email the Way Customer Success team. My reservation was starting on March 16 so cancelled 5 days prior. Today, is the 10th business day and no refund so again contacted the company and now they changed their story from giving me a refund to giving me a credit. They also updated their web site today to state that as of 2/25 they issue credits for all cancellations. This is dishonest and also should be illegal. I have a snapshot of the way.com refund web page as it appeared on Mar 25,2020 02:31:31 GMT without the statement of only giving credits. Fortunately, I made copies of my chat sessions including one where I was offered a credit + 10% or a refund and I told them I wanted a refund. Attached is the refund page before they added the statement about only issuing credits.

For everyone's benefit reading these reviews, here is my response to way.com
I have emailed support at way.com 5 times concerning my refund and in each response, I'm offered a credit + 10 or 15%. I always reply that that is not acceptable and I want a refund. Once again, the important dates are: Feb 7 paid for airport parking that starts on March 16. On March 11, I cancel the reservation. According to the T&C on your refund page, I am entitled to a refund. In fact those T&C state that they can change at any time but the customer is bound to the T&C that existed when they made or modified the reservation. Way.com changed the T&C on March 25 to state that it only gives credit, they went on to give this a retroactive date of Feb 25. Your support staff continues to use that new policy to indicate they can only give me a credit. Way.com is not in compliance with its own T&C. This should have been so easy and way.com should have just given the refund. In fact, in a few of the early replies and chats, I was told that I would get a refund but that it would take 7 to 10 business days. That too is unacceptable that you make a customer wait that long, most legitimate companies provide refunds within a few days. So in conclusion, way.com has lied to me in chats and emails on getting a refund and way.com has decided that they will not adhere to its own T&C. After numerous chats and emails and waiting the 10 business days with no refund, I contacted my credit card company and provided them with all the proof (the refund page with a time stamp prior to your change on 3/25 and chat transcripts that stated i would get a refund). My credit card company gave me the credit so I don't have to deal with way.com anymore and they will pursue way.com for reimbursement. I've also reported this breach of contract to the BBB, FTC and the Washington and California AGs.

Tip for consumers:

Don't use them, they are very deceptive and will change the T&C on the fly to keep your money

How do I hate thee? Let me count the WAY.com
May 5, 2019

For a number of years we have used the Park & Jet parking lot when flying out of the Philadelphia airport. It is a gated & lit outdoor lot where I know my car will be safe while I am away on a trip. It is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and has multiple shuttles operating simultaneously to carry passengers to/from the airport.

I learned about WAY.com, a service based in California that was offering a lower price for parking at this same lot than if I were to deal directly with Park & Jet. Considering the number of trips we take in a year, WAY.com sounded like a cost saving solution.

Back in the beginning of Nov, 2018, I was putting together a trip, and decided to give WAY.com a try; booking and paying for a 9-day parking lot stay at my old standard; Park & Jet.

The trip was set to begin at 2am on Feb 2,2019. The night of Jan 31st I received an email from WAY.com telling me that my parking reservation had been moved to the parking lot of a Philadelphia hotel located beyond the originally paid for Park & Jet lot, and in fact, past the airport itself. The next morning I called WAY.com and was told the Park & Jet lot was overbooked, and so they were moving me to a more expensive lot at WAY.com's expense.

I asked to be switched back to the Park & Jet lot that I originally booked 3 months earlier, but was told there was nothing they could do about this overbooked situation; end of story. When I looked up this alternate lot on WAY.com, I found that they were running a special price for it, which would actually end up making my stay cheaper; cheaper for them but not for me.

So the next morning, we left the house earlier than usual to account for the added distance. Thanks to our GPS, we found the lot behind the hotel some distance past our usual lot and the Philadelphia airport. There were no attendants or help to point out a parking space, no fence or gate to guarantee the safety of our car, and instead of being greeted at our car by a waiting shuttle, we had to trundle our luggage into the hotel lobby. Next we had to wait roughly 20 minutes while the lone shuttle driver returned from a previous airport trip; our anxiety levels increasing with every minute of delay.

Finally, we did reach the airport in time to get through security and make our early morning flight. But the experience is one I do not plan to repeat. We will never pass this WAY(. Com) again.
