We have never had a problem with customer service or returns, shipping label always comes in my packages. I had purchased the wrong size curtains,easy return and credit refund,

Purchased a outdoor antenna when we received it the coaxle that comes with it was broke and the end piece was not pulled thru. The antenna does not work nothing comes in more than 10 to 15 min at time.husband has moved it everywhere many times trying to get it to work. Very dissatisfied with it and will not recommend it to no body. I really feel they should refund our money or send us another one and we also have five towers all around us so we should have no problem getting reception.

I made a purchase and and told the Sales Rep That I would be making monthly payments, When I checked My Debit card THE FULL PAYMENT WAS TAKEN, TILL THIS DAY I AM FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK ON MY CARD FROM THE CREDIT DEPARTMENT. THE PENDING DEPOSIT DISAPPEARED NEVER TO REACH MY BANK ACCOUNT, LET ALONE THE REQUEST WAS NOT COMPLETED THE DAY I BROUGHT THIS TO MONTGOMERY WARD'S ATTENTION. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE YO YO EFFECT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY RUDE,( HANGING UP ON ME) INCLUDING THE ALLEDGED SUPERVISORS. BUYERS BE WARE

This company is horrible! When I placed my order, I was told that I needed to make a DOWNPAYMENT on my order, when I clicked on the option, it took the whole damn amount out ($344.99). When I finally got in touch with someone, it was like I was crossing the line because I got upset and I told them that the company was promoting false advertising and that I wanted to cancel my order and get a full refund. In the FAQ's, it explains the down payment requirement and that is TO PAY A PORTION of the order total. The second person I spoke to about it just took notes and transferred me to another department. Why in the hell do they hire people to just take notes? I get the next department and they had to put me on hold for about 10 minutes, just to come back and tell me that the credit was approved and my debit card was charged. I finally got my order canceled, so I thought, and was told that the order number was my confirmation number. I called back 2 days after that to check the status and my damn refund was never issued! There should be a negative rating you can put on these types of companies. AND WHAT KIND OF COMPANY DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SEE YOUR WHOLE ACCOUNT NUMBER

I'll never waste my time with this company agin I ordered something and I did not get a return sticker and I needed to return the item and I called them the girl told me I had to pay for my own return so I had to pay $89 for the return I called them they told me they would give me $50 on my return well I called agin they said I don't get the $50 and they don't wanna give me all of my money back they wanna pay me back in payment when I paid in full never no more will I buy from them agin

I had a bad experience with this company. The credit department personnel is very arrogant. I contacted the company on or around November 17,2022. I made a new order and asked why they needed another credit check when I already had a credit account. They told me it didn't matter; this was their policy. The customer service in the credit department is not good. I do not recommend them to anybody. They're not a consumer friendly

Ordered 2 pair mens Pajama pants 1 pr great fit well other pair had defect in sewing could not use. Item now out of stock so emailed could I return 1 pair for partial refund since could not replace. They offered me 10% refund and keep pants.Thats an insult I was not looking for something free just what I paid for in useable condition.

Received a Christmas Tree I purchased from Montgomery Wards for a pretty hefty price and it is the most pathetic unacceptable looking Tree I have ever seen. I will be contacting a lawyer and will nor pay for this product. Shame on them they are thieves and I am appalled they would steal from people. Shame on them. It looks nothing like they portrayed. Shame Shame Shame

Ordered two sets of sheets received one and a pool toy had to pay 9 dollars to return their screw up

I received the Montgomery Wards catalog with the pre-approved offer of $400 that nobody gets and ordered something primarily with the hopes that it would boost my credit score. As expected, I received a letter asking me for 50% down on my order which considering that the items they sell are often beyond retail and are of the poorest quality they could possibly find, the half down there requesting which includes their obscene shipping charges handling charges etc easily pay for the items for which I received. One of the items, a copper fit massager they charged me $79 for broke within the first two weeks and I have since seen them sold elsewhere even in other catalogs for $34.99 or less. This version of Montgomery Wards has absolutely nothing to do with the catalog company and department stores of the past. That company was actually reputable and decent. These people have bought various brand names but they are owned by a company called Colony Brands Incorporated which have other scam rip off catalogs where you are also pre-approved for $400 yet they never give financing for $400 to anyone ever no matter who you are. And as for the boost to my credit score I was hoping for by never being late on a payment and paying more than the minimum do, that did not occur. Apparently they do not report anything except possibly if you are delinquent. I willingly paid far more than what I received with the hopes that it would boost my credit, but I did not even get that. I will not ever be ordering or recommending anyone else to order from any catalog from these people which includes Montgomery Ward, Seventh Avenue, Swiss Colony and others. They are all just the same scam repeated. Non-existent pre-approved credit overpriced crap, super high shipping charges, and no boost to your credit score. If you really want to boost your credit score I strongly suggest requesting a secured credit card from discover or capital one. I have three credit cards from both of them and they have done a lot to boost my credit score. The interest rates may be a bit high but at least they are not criminals like the people that Colony Brands Incorporated. And with Discover, you get your security deposit back if you make your payments on time and do not go over your limit. And as an added bonus, both Capital One and discover provide free credit scores that are constantly updated. I paid on time and more than the minimum amount often double the requested amount to the Wards Catalog people and it did absolutely nothing for my credit score. It also did nothing that allowed me to actually benefit from any approved credit amount as my two orders placed since then both resulted in my getting a letter requesting 50% down which includes the obscene shipping and handling fees. Never again!

I I have been a loyal customer of Montgomery Wards for over 7 years I have never missed a payment never been late on a payment three times in a row they tell me I don't have enough credit I have a $3,400 credit account I'm currently using just over $2,000 of that I tried to buy $140 pair of shoes they tell me I got to pay for half of them I call customer service and ask what's wrong with my credit they look they tell me what we don't know you have plenty don't know what happened sir can you connect me with somebody that does know well no they're just going to tell you the same thing we don't know what happened this is the third time I will never buy from them again

I ordered some stepping stones from Montgomery Ward the pictures showed them looking like stepping stones, and they were supposed to be solar powered.
1. They are the size of something you'd put in your 10 yr Olds fish tank and 2. They are glow in the dark not solar. I reached out to them roughly 8 times without anything being fixed, I knew I should have went with my gut and never went with them. They are worthless and a total waste of time and a rip off...

I purchased a portable washer RCA brand i couldnt believe how cheaplt made it is it didnt roll had trouble connecting hose to machine it was plastic and kept popping off had water everywhere very dissappointed.

I bought a bed from this store it was NOT what they advertised it. I setup an auto pay because I was having surgery. So Montgomery Wards tried to get an UNAUTHORIZED payment a week before the authorize payment was togo through. So they tried to withdraw money in Aug and then sent me a statement that they would be withdrawing another payment the 5th of Sept. So they wanted $100 BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. DO NOT DO AUTOPAY THEY WILL TAKE OUT 2 PAYMENTS.
My next step is to get in touch with my Attorney and make sure this company stops ripping ppl off.

I. RECENTLY PURCHASED A 50 INCH TV IN OCTOBER AND IT STOPPED WORKING IN NOVEMBER AND I JUST ORDERED SOME ITEMS FROM THEM THE ADS APPEARED YO BE A NORMAL SIZE AND THE PRICES WAS DEFINITELY FOR NORMAL SIZED ITEMS BUT WHEN I OPENED THEM THEY WERE SMALLER I ALSO GOT THIS CAN OPENER PLUGGED IT UP FOR LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AND IT STOPPED WORKING AFTER 4 YEARS OF BEING A GOOD CUSTOMER NEVER LATE OR MISSED A PAYMENT I WILL NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER THE QUALITY OF THEIR ITEMS ARE VERY POOR

I am a representative for a disadvantaged person and Montgomery Ward's continued to charge her extra money every month. I was told that a certain amount would bring the account to zero balance, and we immediately sent that payment. The very next month they charged her another $10.50, stating that the balance previously was $10.50 over the amount shown on their website, and their paper bill. This disadvantaged person has been taken advantage of by Montgomery Ward's attempting to add charges that weren't previously there. I had saved every paper bill, and copied online statements and have no idea where this extra $10.50 came from. When you call the Montgomery Ward phone number, it's extremely difficult to understand the MW representative who in turn are beyond rude. Once you do reach an agreement as what is truly owed and a brief description of the conversation is supposed to be noted, however it never gets noted so the next person you speak to is clueless. This account is supposed to be closed as of today, time will tell if they actually do that.

I am very upset and unhappy with Montgomery wards online, they give you credit, when you make several orders they flag your account and cancel sale, then they tell you its for protection, then they tell you cant order for 15 days, or if you do you make a down payment, so when you make the down payment, its not a downpayment at all its the whole amount, when you cancel it, and try to refund your outside credit card, they don't, or your waiting over twenty days for a refund, then, when you call them, or someone from the credit dept calls you, you get disconnected, when you try and call back, you cant even request top talk to the person you were talking too, and every agent you talk to, says something different entirely/both depts confusing service, the answers they give are different every time

I've never had a worse experience dealing with a company in my life. They allowed someone to buy over $300 worth of items in my name without a credit card or any other form of payment, ship it to an address other than my home, and then billed me for it. Every time I have attempted to call in, I spend at least 45 minutes on hold then speak to rude customer service representatives who act like the whole thing is my fault. I had to fill out an identity fraud case with the federal government and FAX or MAIL that information to Montgomery Ward. Fax or mail, in 2022, unbelievable. Then they kept billing me and after spending another hour on hold, a rude customer service rep told me that they just didn't get my fax. I was also told that they put a hit on my credit report as they now consider me past due! The rep told me that the only way to get them to retract any damage that Montgomery Ward has done to my personal credit is to re-fax this form. I have never had a worse experience with any company in my life.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Someone used my name and address for an order that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. Now I'm being told I owe $1500 because the person opened an account under my name. I've never heard of this company, did not open an account, and did not place any orders from them. Trying to speak with a real person is an absolute nightmare. I will be contacting my attorney to get this sorted out.

I recently received an email stating that my password has been changed. I called customer service and he could care less! He basically said everything but "OH WELL" and wouldn't even check for account activity! Needless to say, I closed my account that very instant. Just today, I got a letter in the mail stating that I ordered a laptop for $1,020.70 and to send a check/money order or use another credit card to pay. The laptop was going to a TN address and I live in IL. I spoke with 3 Reps (all sounded like they had just crawled out of bed) who were all VERY nonchalant and could care less that I almost got scammed. I am so glad that my intuition told me to close my account when I did because I would have been responsible for the order. I sent a letter via email to Corporate Headquarters regarding this situation and they completely ignored me! (they didn't even acknowledge receipt of my email). I will never buy anything from Montgomery Ward again in life. I hope the online stores close down just like the brick & mortar's did.

I gave 1 star because between the poorly designed website for shopping check out and trying to call customer service, I said, forget it! We got a magazine from them and I thought I would try to buy a sheet set. It tool me forever to fill it on. You can't make a simple correction, even clicking on "edit". I had to start all over again to re do my shipping choice and then I decided to call customer service about credit application. I was not in a position to make a down payment incase I wasn't approved. I called and it said, "We are experiencing a high volume of calls, please try your call again later" and hung up! I'm not calling the IRS! I'm calling an on line department store that has been around for YEARS! I'm thinking to myself, what if I needed them right away for an immediate answer?! I deleted the app and said Nope! I'm not taking a chance. If this is a reflection of how they handle business now, not impressed at all.
They are way over priced on many things, but so are many merchants now. When you can't get ahold of CS, be aware and when their system hangs up on you! Not good. Stay away and protect your money and anxiety!

I ordered six window shades. On the website the fabric looked heavy like a khaki material. However, they sent two pillow cases instead. When I called them they sent out new window shades that were sheer. You could see everything that was going on outside through the shades and vice versa. I called them again and complained. I was told that I owed one of their partner companies $75 which I it never heard of. They said it was from 15 years ago. However they could not tell me where I was living at the time, where they sent merchandise or even what merchandise was ordered. They didn't proceeded to tell me that the account was so old that I was not responsible for paying it any longer. They then closed my account without my knowledge and completely removed the account from all credit bureaus. I can only say that that was the best thing that they could have ever done for me. They are a joke and my plan was to never buy anything else from them. So I guess it worked out fine.

Turn around and run. Forget you ever heard of Montgomery Ward.
