Mariel at the Warby@ 185 Columbus Avenue, NYC was friendly, honest, and incredibly knowledgable. She clearly loves her job and takes great pride in it. She was so patient, showing me many frames and indulging all my questions. Rare to find someone who cares so much.
The filled my same prescription wrong 3 times! The got the prescription to high and the progressive lenses to low and could not see clearly after 3 times Gave up and asked for my money back They were not friendly and didn't seem to care about anything Didn't offer a any discount or to adjust any thing after 3 times of filling the same prescription Won't go back again and I would beware of poor quality of work and rude employees These are the 2 people I had to deal with in OKC on Classen circle

I work full time in the medical field so there is only a small window in my days to make it to the store to buy glasses. I went online and picked 5 pairs and they came within a few days. I liked about 3 out of 5 pairs, only 1 pair felt on the cheap side. Since I could keep the try on ones for 5 days I actually wore a few out with contacts just to really try them out which was kinda fun. I returned them after the 5 days and ordered the pair I wanted online, it was super easy only took a minute to upload my script. The glasses came about 7 days after ordering them. They came in the cutest box and a nice case with a cloth. I ended up accidentally ordering the wide pair instead of the narrow pair so they were way to big. I called the number online, they rep ordered me new ones right away and told me If I wanted I could keep the glasses that are to big until I receive the ones that will fit me better. The entire phone call to get this fixed only took about 2 minutes, by the time I hung up the phone I had two emails one with a new order confirmation and one with the return label. I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience. I was a little skeptical at first but I will definitely be ordering from them again. Also they state on their website to file a claim if they don't take your insurance, I didn't believe they actually would but my insurance company actually did end up reimbursing me $65.
Each year my eyesight deteriorates. Each year I need new glasses. Each year glasses become more expensive. This year even insurance wouldn't cover the full price of glasses at the optometrist (or any glasses store near me). So shopping online was the only option left. Several companies wouldn't or couldn't accommodate the lenses needed for my prescription. Warby Parker didn't blink. Yep, we can do it. So, after trying on (at home!) 10 pairs of glasses, I found exactly what I wanted, took a deep breath, and ordered. When the glasses arrived I was fully prepared for the ‘get used to them' stage that always accompanies new glasses. Slipping on the glasses was a joy. They fit perfectly. They looked great. There was no ‘getting used to them' stage. My sight was clear, the progressive lenses didn't make me slightly nauseous or create momentary depth perception difficulties. Oh, and I submitted the bilI to my insurance. Fully covered! I could not be happier. Next year Warby Parker will be making my new glasses.
Tip for consumers:
Use Warby Parker’s customer service as often as you think you need to even if the question seems minor to you. They walked me through ordering a difficult prescription and the process of insurance submission. They patiently, professionally answered every concern even when I was asking for the second or third time. It made for a comfortable and confident transaction.

Frames, ultra thin progressive lenses
I went into my local Warby Parker store and found the perfect frames for me. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I love the way I look in my glasses which is insane because I've always been a contact person. Reading some of these other reviews makes me wonder if people have any common sense at all. My glasses came a little warped and I went to my local optical shop to have them adjusted. How can they possibly fit your face perfectly out of the box? You're not there for them to adjust them to your face! Also THEIR PRICES! Polycarbonate lenses AND frames for $95? Literally just do some research about it.
Tip for consumers:
If you're having problems or are unhappy, call the customer service people. They've helped me with a couple issues and they're great.
Several family members have shopped at Warby Parker and their glasses are impressive as far as quality of workmanship and aesthetics are concerned. I ordered my first pair and was pleased with the ease of the Home Try On and ordering online. I have purchased glasses and contacts from several high end optical stores as well as both Sam's and Costco. I will continue to use WP for my vision needs. If you haven't tried them yet, I suggest you do and see for yourself!
Tip for consumers:
Check it out for yourself!

I love the looks of so many of the glasses. When I was in New York, I went to a store and tried sunglasses on. Later, I ordered them online without much trouble. They came, and I am getting nothing but compliments on them The quality is great, and they were only $95 with all the trimming, including polarization. Prescriptions are much cheaper here. I highly recommend the company.
I'm on my third pair of Warby Parker glasses, and I love them--especially for the price. It helps that I live by a brick and mortar store in Chicago, so I am able to try on as many as I want. This also helps when my glasses start to get loose. I just stopped in the store, and the person working was very nice, and I was in and out of there (with tightened glasses!) in less than five minutes.
My original pair of glasses got scratched up by a nail file. I was devastated, especially since I work from home and need my glasses for work. My glasses were just over a month out of warranty. I emailed them asking if there was any way they would make an exception and repair my glasses. I explained that I'm facing severe financial hardship and needed my glasses for work. I always got a super speedy response, each time from someone new, and EVERYONE was kind! They decided to replace my glasses for free even though the warranty had expired. They said "We know how hard these past few years have been in everyone, and we want to help." I don't think I've ever received better customer service. I really and truly appreciated this. I'd recommend them through and through and order with them again some day.
The one-star reviews of Warby Parker all sound like they were written by disgruntled opticians.
I've worn glasses for 30 years. I got my first pair of Warby Parkers today and they are perfect. High quality, well-fitting, and great style.
Do a Google search on Neil Blumenthal and Warby Parker to understand how this company has disrupted the monoplistic, greedy eyeglass industry. Learn about how the industry has been completely dominated by one company for so long, resulting in absurd prices. Then get smart and order your next pair from Warby Parker.
Stylish, affordable and a pleasure to deal with. The best company for eye glasses. My ophthalmologist said they do a great job.
So I didn't get the chance to go to my eye doctor for my check up and prescription because my state was shut down for COVID-19. I bought a pair of glasses but used my old prescription and didn't have what I needed. A mistake on my part. I emailed them and they were very quick to respond. They held my order for me for months until my doctor opened again and I was even able to measure my peripheral distance online since I didn't have it. It was really easy. I also just got my glasses and they are great quality. I feel like they have a very unique choice of glasses and they're more trendy than when you'd buy them at the eye doctor. I didn't even try them on before I bought them!
I've used where Warby Parker for years and have purchased multiple pairs of glasses and tried on tons of frames and I've never had an issue with them. I had scratches on my lens and waited until the year warranty was almost up and then exchanged them and when they returned there was a new scratch on one of the lenses and even though it was past the year mark at that point they happily fixed it. I ordered my last pair after a home try-on and the temples were too tight and I couldn't wear them. They refunded me no questions asked. Never pay for shipping, polycarbonate / anti reflective/ anti scratch coating comes standard. Right now they don't have any frames I like and I'm having a miserable time finding anything comparable anywhere near that price range. (Note: I have a simple rx and small astigmatisms in both eyes)
I'm still wearing Warby's! Yes, they're still cheap! They loosen, they scratch, they fog up, but I still don't care because they're inexpensive enough to keep changing out styles. And still contribute to a great cause. And what really keeps me coming back is the unbelievable online technology and service. They just added an app for an eye exam to renew your RX for $15! It took 5 minutes. Not 5 minutes on the phone to make an appointment 1 month out and then waiting in an office for 20 minutes before the hour exam and then forking over hundreds of dollars. 5 Minutes and DONE. $15. This company rules and I love them. BTW- I have a million Warby sunglasses which is what started the whole thing and I have zero complaints.

I'd call these the "toms" of the eyeglass world. Terrible quality lenses for prescription but I mostly wear contacts so it's not a big deal - it's what I signed up for, for the style. They cloud up instantly, have a rainbow glare around the edges, slip off my face constantly, and the case for them won't close once they are in it. It's actually funny how bad they are! But, they're ridiculously cheap. However, I would pay much, much more for a better quality with the same great style. I say go for it Warby- charge more and make better glasses - you can still donate a pair and be a great ambassador to charity.
I have two pair of glasses, both from Warby Parker. Both pairs, I'm am completely pleased with. The first pair I got was in store, the second, I ordered online after doing the in home try-on.
I had a few questions that I was able to ask in the chat option available on the website, also through email. Customer service is great. What the company stands for, all together, is great.
I saw another comment from a person saying, they didn't like the face that hey would be liable for glasses not returned from the home try-on. Why would you not be liable? Its literally the easiest thing. You pick out glasses, they get sent to you, try them on, then send them back with the return label included!
I would (and have) definitely recommend them!
I ordered my glasses then wanted to change the frames. The first set of glasses went out, but they did the exchange and they said I could use the other pair until I get my second pair. I can then send the others back postage paid. So far they are much, much better than any other website or in-store experience I have had. I will have to see how it goes once I get them.
It looks like an Apple store there are so many people milling about. Great selection, plenty of folks to help you. Prices either $95 or $145. Picked what we wanted, they shipped to our house. A really painless and rewarding experience.
So these aren't the absolute highest quality glasses and I've had a couple issues, but I've owned several WP frames as well as several pairs from the quick online glasses places and WP have been by far the nicest. They're as good as the overpriced ones at your local optometrist. Most have been great and lasted for years. My most recent pair broke at the bridge in a very strange way, I think it was an imperfection in the material or some kind of fluke--it was weird. They replaced them expensive progressive lenses and all and got the order going immediately without wanting me to return the old ones first. I thought that was really nice. I also accidentally sent an order to the wrong address and they were super responsive and helpful. Also I once ordered a pair with progressive lenses and then sunglasses without the progressives and they reached out to make sure that was correct. So yeah, I've had issues, but those happen sometimes and they've always been helpful and quick correcting them.

I visited in store to pick out some new glasses this week. The optician there was very helpful and professional. She even helped me pick out frames that complimented my skin tone and face shape (since I had come there alone). Once I picked a pair I liked, the rest of the checkout process was very quick and simple. I was in and out in15 minutes! I should be receiving my glasses this week and I cant wait to wear them!
I found my frames, uploaded my prescription and submitted payment. I received my order in less than a week. I get compliments every time I wear them.

I purchased two pair of glasses at the Century City location because I was there doing some shopping. I was very disappointed when one of the pairs arrived damaged. I went to the Studio City location on Saturday because it is closest to my home. LEVON WAS AMAZING! He was so friendly and he repaired my glasses on the spot. I left the house sure that it would be a hassle to get them fixed, but I was pleasantly surprised. Levon made it totally seamless. Very satisfied with my glasses and the service I received. Thank you.
I am 36 and never had to wear glasses until now. I went to the Warby Parker store in Philadelphia and explained I never purchased glasses before. They helped me pick out frames to fit and compliment my face shape. My glasses with a single vision prescription and blue light filtering were $145. I did not pay for fast shipping, but my glasses arrived in only 6 days, rather than the 7-10 they said it would take.
I love the glasses and had a great experience.
I've purchased glasses for 40+ years, which I wear part time after taking out my contact lenses. These are by far the best eyeglass value purchase I've ever had, at $125. My last pair was $475, which I had lost on a business trip, and so I needed a new pair. I wear 10 diopter lenses, and I paid $30 for high index lenses, result was fine for me. I could have paid an additional $70 for super high index, but I elected to try the regular high index lenses, and I am happy with their thickness. The additional $30 was worthwhile, which lenses were similar thickness to my previous $475 pair. I especially liked the trial frames process, which let me try on several pair at home, and get feedback from my wife and others. Online ordering was easy uploading my prescription, etc, and when I needed customer service for a question, they were fast and very helpful. I was super impressed with the quick product delivery (4 days after order). I found the frame quality to be fully acceptable, with the lens quality to be oustanding. At this price point ($125), these were an extraordinary value - again, I cannot emphasize this enough - AN EXTRAORDINARY VALUE. Very nice hardshell case also included, an unexpected surprise. Definitely recommend, will order another pair as backup/alternate.
Excellent choice of styles. Viirtual try-on. Great customer service. Allowed me to change my style order twice. Fast shipping. Good fit and visoon.
