Many reviews highlight frustrations with unfulfilled orders, inadequate support during issues, and negative interactions with staff. I ordered hearing aids for my Dad on December 10. On the website they were listed as "in stock" with an ETA of December 16. Received confirmation email with same information. On December 15 received email saying they were delayed. Went online to check tracking and they had not even shipped yet. Customer service was no help whatsoever. They told me if an item was listed as "in stock" on their website, that did not necessarily mean that it was actually in stock. They could not even give me an estimated shipping date. Their solution was to tell me to cancel the order and make a new order, which made no sense. I do not recommend Wal-Mart.
I went to Walmart to return an online purchase and was met with a greeter who turned her back on me when I said hello to her. Then as I walked to Customer Service another associate caught herself starting to look at me and then looked at the floor as she passed by. No smile or hello. Then as I stood waiting my turn watched customers treated with disdain. How sad. My turn and I was told that I could have sent it back. I know but I was going to shop and know that they would take returns. She said nothing more just gave me a receipt. I had to ask about my refund. Seems it is a third party seller and Walmart will return it to them and they will refund my money.
It didn't end there I continued to shop since I was there ( i guess I am a gluten for punishment). Not a smile or a kind face from one associate. A number of them were standing in groups chatting. When it was time to check out only two registers open, 20 minutes to check out. My greeter had 3 friends to chat with at the door so I couldn't say good-bye to her.
What a nightmare ordered an item on 11/28 said i would have it by 12/10 then all I get is order delayed. I go to chat they say their is a problem with my order in the system and I should cancel it wait 48 hour and reorder. I ask will I get the same price and will it arrive by 12/25 they can't answer. I ask for a phone number to call. I get some guy on the phone telling me a system problem same advice tells me to cancel wait 48 hour and re order. I ask will I get the same price I get a no. I complain I do then get to get it at the same price. I ask about when will I get it he says 48 hours fine. I point out what a pain this process was and I never had some much work to resolve an issue with Amazon. This is also very true. He starts telling me how much Amazon sucks. Just what I need to hear. I ask for a supervisor. Bottom line the supervisor tells me that my item is back ordered and that my original order would come in before any new order. Well why was I not told that and why was I told to cancel my original order. He has no real answer other than that was the best answer the first person I spoke could give me but he was a supervisor and he could give me the real answer. What?. Now I did get a promo code from the first guy and I used it to order the item again which the system say I will have it in 48 hours. I did not cancel the first one so I can't wait to see which comes in first. Bottom line they have no process and any answer you get you can't trust. This equals Bad Business.
I just got off the phone with a customer service manager.
My issue, after talking with 5 different reps, was that my photo order got "lost".
All they wanted to do was refund my money. I was supposed to have received this YESTERDAY. I'm a photographer and my client needed these to be delivered by then. Now, I have to spend more than double the money that I used to order these photos, double the amount of time to order them all again and get the sizing correct, and frustration of talking to many reps on the phone and not having anything get done besides refunding my money... not to mention having to go to the store and pick these photos up and deliver them to the client rather than them being mailed which was what I paid for in the first place. Through no fault of my own, all of this could have been helped if they would have just given me the difference of $7.20 (don't even care about the fuel cost to drive to the store then to get back to the clients residence) but no, all i'm offered is a refund that won't even be processed for 5-7 business days.
Not so great customer service if you ask me.
For some reason, the automated store locator knows nothing about how to get to a location! It wants me to use a store an hour away because in a straight line it's closer. Then, when I change the pick up location, it won't always accept the change.
That's how my order got to the WRONG PLACE; and Walmart.com says "Tough luck!". My only options are: run an hour out of my way, cancel for a refund and forget it, or cancel and reorder hoping they still have it.
Can we say "Not helpful"?
I bought a razor scooter from walmart.com a few months ago. It was for Christmas, so I hadn't opened it. Another price became available recently so I went to return the one I had (still in box with receipt and everything) and they wouldn't take it back. I called walmart.com and they said I only had thirty days. I was never informed I only had 30 days and wouldn't have bought it at the time I did if I had known. Apparently you have to log in to your account after you've bought it. In my experiences with other companies such as Amazon, Target, and Costco they've been much more understanding and at least a supervisor could override it or make an exception. No one could make an exception in this case and basically said "the system won't let me." Knowing now that they can't override their own system instill very little confidence! Don't buy from walmart.com!
I ordered some tires on Walmart.com and was charged an additional fee called a merchandise fee. I came to find that that is an import tax. Walmart runs to China and everywhere else outside of the US to get things and then wants the customer to pay for this. Just on principle will NOT go back.
I ordered a tablet and a 19" TV online on Black Friday though walmart.com. When I picked up my order yesterday, there wasn't a TV in the box. It was a $18 light up Christmas tree. When I called Walmart.com the lady tells me I either have to wait another 10 days for a replacement TV, or wait 5-7 business days for a refund. When she called my local store, the TV was in stock but for some reason I can't just go pick up a TV, even though I paid for one. When I asked the lady what am I supposed to do with the tree, she tells me I can keep it! I don't want the tree, I want my TV! Why won't my picture upload?
I tried to return a blouse that I ordered online and was told I would have to send directly to the manufacturer. Guess what it costs to mail a package to China. $61.00. I just donated it instead, but I am done ordering online from Walmart.
I'm chalking up my online experience with Wal-Mart as a first & a last.
Their 2 day delivery is at best a straight up scam.
Doesn't exist.
2 day delivery has now morphed into a 7 day delivery scenario.
I will believe it when I see it.
Wal-Mart.
You have just lost a 20 year customer.
In the vain of you could not pay me to ever shop your stores or online ever again.
Y'all a scam $#*! joke.
See ya.
Bye.
Wal-Mart.
PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. EASY TO RETURN. ALWAYS SATISFIED WHETHER SHOPPING ONLINE OR IN STORE. MOST OF THE PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE COMPARED TO THE SIMILAR STORES. DELIVERY IS FAST. STAFF IS KNOWLEDGEABLE.
Ordered a samsung galaxy watch week before black friday because I want to be sure I get my order on time. Went to the store to pick it up 10 days after I ordered and they handed me unopened bag. Lady scanned it without checking. Good thing I opened it before leaving store because inside was a Fitbit! I also heard cashier said that it was non refundable ( that was not indicated when I ordered it). I told them it was wrong item and was a mistake on their side. After waiting for more than an hour they refunded me and gave me $25 off $45. Com purchase! Now my problem is I can no longer find a watch for that price since all the sales are over and the stocks are limited. I ended up paying $100+ more elsewhere.
I ordered an apple watch series 3 for my daughter's Christmas present early Black Friday morning from Walmart.com. I was so happy to be able to get it (confirmed pick up) for my daughter. My wife and I drove 45 minutes to the Walmart store for pickup and were told the order was cancelled by walmart.com. We called them and were told there is some glitch in the system and they will honor the black friday price when the watch is back in stock. It was back in stock on Sunday, re-ordered, and cancelled again. Now, we've missed the opportunities to search elsewhere. Very disappointed in this online purchase experience. Amazon has never once cancelled a confirmed (and charged) order and Walmart did it twice in one Cyber weekend to me.
This site is very similar to Amazon(obvious competitor) I ordered a few cans of Noxzema shave cream, which was always my favorite. Seems the company that bought them out a few years back really messed up "plugging" the product, so most stores kicked them off their shelves. Well the shave cream came in several days sooner than advertised & were in perfect condition. Good tight packaging with plenty of insulation to prevent dings & dents. What I liked about walmart.com was the fact that their price was several $ less than Amazon & other sites. It was actually lower than the price I'd pay in the stores! I do see negative reviews about this ite hee, but for me it worked out fine.
No accountability from Walmart Online. Ordered 2 chairs. We borrowed a truck, went to pick up the chairs 3 different times at walmart and each time they were not there. There was no notifications of delay, no information on tracking and no one had an answer. The price of chairs went up in price, my order was cancelled and I was told I had to re order the chairs. I will NEVER purchase form Walmart online again and will spread the dishonesty and lack of customer service far and wide. The distributors, corporate number and representatives will do nothing for the customer except put you on hold while assuming no responsibility for their errors. Is this how a major world wide corporation gets ahead. Its the worse experience I have ever had shopping online.
I ordered 2 apple watches for my children on the Black Friday Deals with Walmart.com. I put the sale through as soon as the sale began. I had the order confirmation and they had the money held from my bank on my credit card. Two days later I was sent an email that this item was out of stock and my money is being refunded. I don't want a refund, I need the Christmas gifts for my children and now I don't have any other options because the deals are gone and I don't have gifts for my kids. I talked to customer service and it was sorry sometimes this happens. Buyer beware as a confirmation that you have purchased the item and you will receive it and it is in stock really doesn't mean that for Walmart.com. I would avoid Walmart.com if you want to be sure you have Christmas gifts to give on Christmas.
First of all you can't go to a Walmart especially around Christmas without the smell of cinnamon choking you almost to death especially when some people are allergic to cinnamon, but the main reason is that I went to Walmart on Black Friday and it seems like every year it becomes more of a joke they used to have three different sales 2 hours apart on Thanksgiving night but now they have one sale and it's the same old junk every year in most of the products they only have a small limited Supply of them once they're sold out the other customers are just out of luck
The big shots at their home office needs to realize who makes their paycheck for them(WE THE CUSTOMERS) Sam Walton would be highly disappointed in (THE JOKE) that Walmart has become
Their website has room to improve in a few areas, but overall Walmart is #1 when it comes to price, and local convenience. Walmart is always trying to improve, and I believe they will get better than they already are over time.
At 8:30 in the morning the day before Thanksgiving (Nov 27) only self checkout was available except for one lane that had multiple people with full grocery carts. The attendant at self-checkout made the excuse that corporate did not staff... as my commen of "having to go to work for FREE" obviously sent her into defense mode. I disagree with forcing customers to do their own check out. PERIOD. Whether Walmart is trying to save money or has just poor planning and administrators doing the scheduling, does not excuse the choics to ignore customers' opinions.
If you're no going to fix your terrible message you send that no one is available to take my money, I would make a strong suggestion to put something to wet our fingers (sponge maybe?) at the bagging area so we don't have to subject ourselves to other people's germs. What I mean is, the bags are stuck together and without licking our fingers, those bags do not come apart. That may sound gross to you but do you have any other suggestions for a customer who is trying to check out themselves?
I am not a manager at Walmart but I will tell you that there were several people working with Walmart uniforms that were wandering around not only outside but inside the store. For an attendant to make the excuse that corporate is responsible gives me the impression someone at your company blames others for poor Costomer Service... she TOTALLY ignored me when i tried to tell her about the bagging issue. Thanks for adding insult to injury lady with the excuses.
Packages were days late, came in all different packages, some never came at all, and they just refund you after a week of waiting for the stuff you ordered! Never even got one package ever! Incompetent and useless.
