Would give it zero stars if I could
September 27, 2021

We booked a cabin to rent in Sevierville, TN through Jackson Mountain Homes/Vtrips in June for a 4-night stay: August 16th to 20th. We have stayed at multiple cabins through the years rented through JMH, and it was for the most part, usually, a pleasant experience; that is until this time. The number one request per my 5 adult children was that the cabin have a pool table, and they would prefer a mountain view. It took my wife and me some time to locate a cabin in our price range, with enough beds, a mountain view, and a pool table, but we had success with The Wilderness Lodge cabin. Upon arrival to the cabin on the 16th, after a 7-hour drive, we found no pool table, only the impressions of where it once sat on the carpet. I called JMH customer service immediately. They claimed that they were unaware of the removal of the pool table, and that the owners must have had taken it out. Regardless of the reason, there wasn't one. I informed the c. S. rep. That it was unacceptable, and that we obviously wanted to move to another cabin that had a pool table. I was told they would call me back. While I waited for a call, we located another available cabin on JMH website that had enough beds and had a pool table that was available the days we were staying. I had to call JMH back numerous times because they weren't returning my calls. I was told that the only way we could move is if a manager approved it. So, get a manager's approval then. Ah, but there was the catch; it could take a manager 5 to 7 business days to return a call. Well, we would be back home then. I asked if our issue could be expedited. Customer service said they would try. I asked for an email address and a phone number to a manager. Couldn't give me one, and they said that they had sent an email as well as a phone message to a manager. After waiting, hoping to hear from a manager, I called back yet again and was told by yet another c. S. rep that they may be able to get a pool table moved into the cabin the next morning when their maintenance crew arrived. So, we held out until the following morning to see if that would happen; it did not. We would have never stayed the night had that not been offered as a solution. The only solution that was ever offered to us was a credit of a lousy $177.00 off the over $1k we paid upfront for the cabin rental. I was done dealing with such incompetence and total disregard to our issue. I told them that we were leaving, and I wanted a full refund. Additionally, the cabin had a wooded view near a busy road, not at all a mountain view. We then had to scramble to find another cabin through another company, not to mention the cost involved. I can recommend Bear Camp Cabin Rentals. They saved our vacation! The individual I spoke with went over personally to make sure all the amenities were there for us, including a pool table. After 30 days passed, Brian Booning, from Vtrips, the property mgmt. Co. That handles JMH rentals, contacted me asking about my issue(s). I emailed him the issues, including the fact that a manager never contacted me, and why we were owed a full refund. He ignored that email. We are now perusing this case in small claims court of Knox County, TN.

Tip for consumers:

Do not rent a vacation home through this incompetent company.

An experience so bad that VTrips actually offered us a refund in exchange for our silence!
April 27, 2021

We rented 141 West Leslie in the Gulf Highlands complex in Panama City Beach, Florida for 10 weeks, based on the pictures, description, and reviews provided by V-Trips. What a colossal mistake. In fact, V-Trips offered a $700 refund (plus reimbursement for an area rug we bought to replace the pet-stained one in the unit) with the proviso that we wouldn't generate a negative review. We gave up that refund so we could give this truthful review. We left a VM 45 minutes after we arrived at the unit to complain about the unit's general disrepair and damage, lack of common upkeep, and lack of basic cleanliness. Upon returning our call the next day, we were asked if we wanted a refund. We asked what amount that would be, and the V-Trips rep said that first we should try to get the unit adequately cleaned. A cleaner came to clean and deodorize the living room furniture and stairway carpeting as we could smell the furniture while upstairs in bed. Thereafter, we bought a blanket to place on the couch as it was still too smelly to sit on. As for the other furniture in the room, it continued to smell, getting particularly strong on humid days. Then a "mini deep cleaning" was done addressing only some of our concerns. A couple of maintenance men visited to photograph and repair a few items. Three days after arriving, when we
Asked about the refund, we were told it was "too late" for that. Amazing, as we had wanted to pursue that immediately but were told that cleaning should be done as a first course of action. We personally cleaned the unit for two weeks to bring it up to basic cleanliness. We notified V-Trips of basics not found in the unit including, but not limited to, dishware; pots and pans that were not scabby with scraped/gouged Teflon; bakeware; and a vacuum. Eventually, most basics were provided, but they should have been there from the start. We provided V-Trips with an itemized list of general disrepair and damage areas as we didn't want to be held responsible for those items in this well worn, run down, dated unit. As for basic cleanliness, we were amazed as we were lead to believe, from reviews, that we would find a clean unit. Wrong. We cleaned, among other things, all of the air grates; ceiling fans and light fixtures; kitchen shelves; black greasy dirt from the top of the refrigerator; black covering entire stairway handrail; and dirt and black marks on the walls and ceilings. Upon closer look, the reviews on the V-Trips site were from two years ago, and we cannot even put this review on the site for the unit as there is no place to add a review. What's with that? Although V-Trips made attempts to obtain our satisfaction, there was a definite lack of responsive, timeliness of response, and of course the biggy of putting off a refund and then saying it was "too late." We took pictures and retained all of the emails with V-Trips.

Worst vacation ever in my family life can't get video on site will repost again
June 12, 2020

I don't know where to start I'm not a big complainer until I don't get what I pay for the cabin we stayed at through vtrips was a terrible experience this was a vacation for my husband and 2 daughters Birthday day's for 4 nights mind u plus our other family members their cabins through Airbnb was awesome and very clean. Our 1st night we were locked out the cabin after driving 9 hrs to get there. We waited for almost 2 hours we were given 3 different codes that didn't work then asked us to resist the lock code as bears starting to approach as it got darker! My kid's extremely nervous, my husband, and I worried about our safety became very angry at the way vtrips handled helping us 16 minutes before 10 we got a call come to find out the first 3 ppl never gave them our name, or number. They Documented that we were locked out our cabin. Not the fact that the code never work due to the poor wireless connection or nor was none of our info or cabin location was given to the proper person of where we were stuck at so we left due to bears starting to approach plus rain which effected our visibility. Plus we didn't hear from no one after calling 3 times waiting almost 2hrs we got there at 7:58pm tried the wireless lock code which didn't work due to poor connection was soo bad! Called vtrips at 8:03pm. Didn't hear back from no one until9:44pm. So then we left from the dangerous smokey mountains in the rainy dark our first time in Gatlinburg!
I tried to surprise my husband and kids for their birthday a complete disaster! My husband, kids, and I didnt want to come back couldn't find any other cabins vtrips Sarah and another lady I can't recall her name very rudely Express they weren't giving our money back to us. Then we came back to cabin due to their was no other cabins left for our dates. The manager and director had someone finally meet us here after we had to Express we weren't coming back unless someone meet us. Plus we kelp getting losted due to the poor connection in the mountains and this is our first and will be last time in Gatlinburg due to this overall experience the Roaches in the kitchen did it for me I never been around Roaches sealed it I actually broke down and cried for a minute worst vacation ever I wanted my family really to enjoy their birthday my kid on honor from kindergarten to her first year in her 1st yr in college all A&B Student I wanted her to have a awesome time for her accomplishments plus her Birthday!. We lost so many family members a vacation us what my family needed. Soo I asked about the cleansing since Corona out break plus about the information provided about the cabin. Long story short kitchen in cabin f-in roaches which my kids and I are scared of plus the cabin was dusty and dirty in certain areas which we made video's and to picture's of. I cant cook in Roaches stuck in a cabin where we don't want to be now for sure 100% due to Roaches in the kitchen we have been eating out since we came here after buying food to cook at our suppose to be top cabin for 4 nights I had to clean to get us comfortable to safely place our things which we kelp in our suitcases!. They finally sent some one at 4:30pm from house keeping to finish cleaning cabin correctly as it should have been in the first place like my other family members cabins through Airbnb!. In the information area it states that they would send someone out incase of an emergency which they didn't not nothing basically was honored as they described in the promo before u book it.
Now waiting on cabin director to find how this whole situation will be addressed. Smdh put yourself in my shoes I promise I cried for a minute I saved my money to surprise my family for their Birthday's! After we lost so many family members this was me and my brother's way of doing something special for our families that deserved it! Soo mad and hurt as I write this...
Please be careful with this company their located in FLA. And not much help in crisis just want your money vtrips and if the there is a problem u deal with it basically from what someone name Sarah said to me rudely everything that happened dosen't matter which I'm not accepting I will get my atty involved if not handled fairly will try to post crazy video of Roaches in cabin kitchen.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
April 9, 2020

I booked a 2 bedroom cabin (Bear's Den) in Gatlinburg, TN for my family through a 3rd party Hotels.com. I was supposed to receive a confirmation email from Vtrips within 24hrs after the booking to inform me of the check in procedures and front door code. I contacted Hotels.com and they were unable to reach a human being and received no call back after leaving several messages. While traveling through the mountains on the 1st day of check in, I spent 4hrs on the phone with Hotels.com and a representative from Vtrips reservations tying to get the code for front door. The Vtrip representative informed me that she could ONLY take new reservations and had could not provide me with any information on my current reservation. I was told that she would relay my information to the proper personnel and they would call me. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALL!

Long story short... I drove to the cabin and we were able to get a phone number off a sales sign in the front yard. We called the number several times and left a message. After about an hour my wife was finally able to reach someone and they provided her the information needed to get inside.

After being inside for a few hours we learned that the dryer wasn't working and a serviceman would be out the next day to make the repairs. We also found out that the kitchen and downstairs bathroom had ants all over the place and the downstairs bedroom ceiling fan was off balance and squeaking to the point we couldn't use it at night. We had to throw out $75.00 in food. While doing Laundry that night it was also determined that the dryer wasn't drying the clothes. When the serviceman arrived the next morning he told me that he only had a work order for the washer and couldn't assist with the broken dryer. I was finally able to speak to a Vtrips manager the next day and told her all the problems. She informed me that she was not able to send out a pest control company but would send a maintenance man with a can of bug spray. The man did come a few hours later and handed me the bug spray to use on my own and advised they would get with the owner to replace the fan,

In speaking with this manager, she did inform me that every Friday her executive team reviews complaints such as this and provides compensation if applicable.

After 2 weeks from check out I finally received the following response;

Good Afternoon,

Our upper management team has reviewed your request for compensation for the issues during your stay at the Bear's Den. Unfortunately, Vtrips cannot assist with anything to do with funds for your booking. You will need to contact the company you booked this reservation with.

This is not about $500 I spent for 2 nights, this is all about a company that could careless about the issues we experienced and basically did nothing to fix it. I shouldn't have to contact Hotels.com for reimbursement, they were very helpful and did everything they could in an attempt to assist me with this matter.

Gatlinburg is a beautiful place to visit, but I would strongly recommend not booking anything through Vtrips. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Really, this company wants me to go back to hotels.com to get reimbursed for my loss... Are you kidding me? They have already paid you (VTrips) for my trip. Just like every other review, your company has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and love to rip everyone off, I don't know how you people sleep at night taking advantage of everyone. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves especially during these difficult times.

Terrible Response to the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) Pandemic.
March 16, 2020

They are very difficult to reach, but most companies are in this season. I had to call multiple times to talk to a person, and was repeatedly promised a call back within the hour, which simply did not happen. When I finally received a call back the representative was polite, but essentially communicated that they still do not have any policy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked, "Are people who are INFECTED allowed to stay in your properties?" They have no policy. When asked, "Can those who TEST POSITIVE for COVID-19 cancel their upcoming reservations and be refunded?" The answer was no.

More specifically, if you cancel your reservation, you may request a refund. They will review your case in the coming week and may or may not choose to refund some portion of your rental fee. Either way, they have your money AND your trip is cancelled. If out of the goodness of their hearts they want to give you some of your money back, that's a possibility, but don't hold your breath.

Despite the fact that THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has asked ALL Americans to CANCEL ALL DISCRETIONARY TRAVEL, this company will not refund reservations. Despite the fact that the extraordinary majority of hotels across the country and around the world, along with competing rental services such as AirBnB, have Guaranteed FULL REFUNDS for ALL Cancelations, this company has not!

The one option they gave is to attempt to reschedule your trip, though they reserve the right to INCREASE your rate. It's better than nothing, but in these times of global uncertainty, I doubt anyone has confidence of when they might resume their vacation.

I know companies like Jackson Mountain Homes and VTrips may not survive this crisis. Like the rest of us, they are facing difficult decisions. However, trying to make money on a Global Pandemic for services not rendered is NOT a good look. I would encourage them to join almost every other travel company in their industry in providing FULL REFUNDS immediately!

We had a good experience with Jackson Mountain Homes many years ago, perhaps before they became a part of VTrips. At this point, their online reviews across the internet are ABYSMAL from both renters and property owners, as well as former employees.

Stay away! And when this crisis is over, spend your money with companies that value their customers.

CAUTION RE: VTrips AKA Vacation Rental Pros
October 2, 2019

Maui is one of my favorite vacation spots and I often stay at the Maui Banyan in Kihei with a friend. This year I booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo as a package deal when booking my airfare from Hawaiian Airlines.

Unfortunately the condo is managed by Vacation Rental Pros (Maui) AKA VTrips (Florida) AKA VacayHome Connect (Chicago) AKA Maui Rental Group (Maui).

Our initial reservation was in unit P302. We were later moved to F103. Both units had issues.

We checked into P302 on 9/6/19 and spent several hours on the phone with local (Maui) and out of state representatives to discuss and try to resolve the issues found at the condo. Our final contact was with Rachel with Maui Rental Group and she helped us find a short term fix and the following day she found a long term fix which was to move us to unit F-103.

Unit P302 had many issues related to deferred maintenance and was not properly prepped (cleaned and stocked) for new visitors (my friend and I).

The sliding glass door from one bedroom was stuck open - a handyman was sent to close it and we were advised to not open it.
Aside from the concern of it being stuck again, the handle was cracked.
Both bathroom fans were broken (not running) and rusty and/or dirty.
The bathroom shower curtain was damaged.
Dishes were still in the dishwasher.
Cups in the cabinets had coffee stains.
The fridge was dirty.
The usual "starter supplies" were not provided... usually 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, kitchen dish soap, 1 packet of coffee for the coffee maker, bathroom toiletries.
The bottles in the bathroom were almost empty.
There were other less important issues related to the quality of the apartment that I won't list.

As I said above, we SPENT ABOUT 5-6 HOURS OF OUR 1ST AFTERNOON'S VACATION TIME on the phone and then waiting for the handyman to arrive to fix the window on Friday 9/6.

We requested a new unit but were told that none were available. Therefore we went grocery shopping that evening for supplies missing in the unit and groceries.

The following day (around 4 pm) Rachel texted to say that Unit F103 was available if we wanted to check it out.
We looked at it and accepted because it was in better condition and was at least clean and stocked.

We had to move all our own luggage and groceries from up the hill in P302 to the first building's unit F-103.
This was very inconvenient for us because my friend had knee surgery and there are about 8-10 steps to get to F-103 and it was very hot.
Nobody offered to help us move our belongings and groceries as was done when we were moved once in the past by the Maui Banyan.
Aside from the inconvenience and physical demands involved in the move needed, it again wasted several hours of our vacation time.

Unit F-103 was in better condition than P302 but after moving in, we found a BROKEN KITCHEN FAUCET and the SLIDING WINDOW WAS AGAIN STUCK OPEN.
I called Rachel and she sent someone to repair these the following work day and I was again advised to leave the window alone as it was not a permanent fix.

We were offered a measly $100 for our inconvenience.
In consideration that the first two days of our vacation were pretty much ruined and wasted due to the situation caused by the company's poor property maintenance, we requested the equivalent of two days stay plus cleaning fees since the 1st unit was not cleaned and stocked. Besides the first two days time wasted and inconvenience, we had to accept a unit with stairs (that we would never have chosen due to my friend's disabilities) which we had to deal with on a daily basis and again pull our luggage up the stairs when leaving.

I am posting this review in order to possibly help others not make the same mistake.
Please be careful not to rent a condo managed by this company (or companies?).
There are many nicer condos as the Maui Banyan and better property management companies. I will be much more careful next time when making my travel plans.

Stay AWAY!
June 29, 2019

F you are looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation free of issues... DO NOT even consider V trips or Vacation Rental Pros. The one star was required, or none would have been given.
We rented Ocean Walk located within Palm Coast during the first part of June 2019. Upon arrival the tile floors were filthy and appeared they hadn't been properly mopped in sometime. There was also a noted sewer smell upon arrival that was horrific. I actually had to pick up Downy spray to freshen the air. The sewer smell was extremely bad in the downstairs laundry area, at this time we just disregarded this odor. The pump was also not working on the pool, so that was reported to the service department on Sunday morning. The pool was also filled with frogs and a decaying frog was within the skimmer basket. As I began to shower on Sunday in the master bath, the sewer backed up into the tub and overflowed in the toilet as well. After many frustrating calls to the service department in the Palm Coast office a plumber arrived from Roto-Rooter late that night. He bucketed the nasty water from the tub through the house and dumped into the kitchen sink. He clearly stated to us that hair had clogged the drain and finally fixed the problem. We had to scrub the bathroom and kitchen, sanitizing from the sewer water. Luckily, I had bought Clorox and Lysol at Publix. The shower, bathroom floor, toilet, and kitchen sink, as well as mopping all floors again had to be cleaned! As a storm rolled through the area that night, the power flickered... causing the air conditioning unit to no longer work. We awoke to a very warm house and after many frustrating calls to several offices, I decided to drive to the Palm Coast office to have our issues resolved so we could focus on the remainder of our vacation. We were instructed that the homeowner would contact someone regarding the air conditioning unit and they called to tell us that someone would arrive by 5:30 PM on Monday to fix the problem. The technician did arrive around 6:30 PM, but until that time, the temperature rose to 91 degrees Fahrenheit inside. Another day lost and ruined of our week long vacation. We decided to use the outdoor grill since the house was so very HOT, but oh my what a disaster... it was a rusty mess. The burners were completely rusted and broken. The technician did fix the air conditioning problem, but the house took until the early morning hours on Tuesday to cool back off. Once again, the pool pump quit working and my husband discovered the hours programmed for operation was set for am instead of pm, however with each visit they would flip a breaker and leave, stating nothing was wrong with the pump. They never fixed the hours for the pump to run properly. Someone did come by and skim the pool surface during the week, however did not replace chlorine (it was not a saltwater pool, indeed chlorine) nor fix the pump issues at this time. We eventually gave up on this problem. Cookware within the house was also in very bad condition and limited cooking abilities.
If you are looking for a relaxing, stress free time, staying within a motel would beat this experience! The most frustrating part is when calling with an issue you are connected to several locations, placed on hold, and disconnected before speaking with the proper person. The customer service is horrible! I have stayed with other companies and never had to deal with issues of this nature. Take your hard earned money and look elsewhere. This company is a JOKE! I am being told that no compensation will be given because all problems were resolved within a 48 hour period... REALLY... each and every day for the first few days of our vacation was plagued by a new issue. Extremely disappointing!

Vtrip is a Scam
June 28, 2019

We rented a condo through Vtrips. We had never used this company before, but the same condo was found on VRBO so we thought we were safe. They had much lower fees than VRBO so we thought we were getting a good deal. We arrived on Saturday at 3:30 to Indian Shores Florida. We were supposed to check in at 4 so headed to the office. We were told that they had a large number of checkins and our room would not be ready until 5. They told us to go ahead and pick up our groceries and head to the condo. After purchasing over $200 worth of groceries for the week, we were told that the room was still not ready. After I pleaded with the lady because we had all our cold groceries, she told us we could go put our stuff in the refrigerator while they finished cleaning. When we arrived at 6, the cleaning staff had just gotten there and our condo was a nightmare. I'm not talking about needing a little cleaning, but the worst condo we have ever been in. This place did NOT look at all like the pictures. The carpet was disgusting, the blinds were all broken, the sliding door to the patio did not open, the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, entire chunks of tile were missing out of the shower walls (which left really sharp edges to cut someone while in the shower), the bed comforters were really stained, washer and dryer were old and all rusted out, the place did not need updating, it needed cleaned and maintenanced. It was in terrible shape. By this time, it's 7 and the kids are really wanting to go to the beach after being in the car all day. We took them to the pool and I immediately called Vtrips to ask for another place to stay or our money back. We were very rudely told that there was nothing they could do about our unit not being ready, there was no where else for us to go, and they had a signed contract so they would be giving us no money back. I begged and pleaded with the lady and told her this was not at all what was pictured in the photographs and that I had 2 small children. I explained I was worried they would hurt themselves in the bath tub. I asked to speak with the supervisor and she said the same thing then hung up on me. We made our kids go to the beach because the 3 foot deep pool was so dirty, you couldn't see the bottom of it.

After returning to our room from taking the kids to the ocean, I began checking our beds for bed bugs (this is something I do no matter where we stay). I was horrified what I saw when I began to pull the covers back. There were various dead bugs on the mattress, blood stains everywhere, and I found bug casings, and live larvae that was moving all around the edge of the mattress. I took photos and immediately called their after hours emergency maintenance number. I emailed the photos and was told by them that they confirmed these were bed bugs and that we should leave (you didn't need to tell me). We had to repack our car and get ready to go who knows where. I asked them what we should do and they told us they could do nothing to help us but someone from cooperate customer service would call us the next morning. By this time it was 12:30 and I was not feeling good about this company so I decided to call the police and make a report. They came out and confirmed what we saw and made a report. By now, it was 2 AM and we couldn't find a single hotel with a single vacancy. This means we spent the night in the Publix parking lot because we couldn't find anywhere to stay. Yes, me and my 2 kids spent the night in the car. I felt so terrible as both kids woke up crying in the night wondering where we were and why we weren't in a bed. They simply did not understand.

We began to message people about finding a place to stay for the rest of the week. Thankfully, we found a sweet couple in Manasota Key that had a little cottage that we could rent from them. It was a God send because the place was so clean and they were so nice. Not once did I get a phone call to check on us or follow up from Vtrips. I finally called them Sunday to ask how to get our refund. We were told that they were sending an inspector out to their own investigation and then would get back with us. By Wednesday I had still not heard from anyone. I called again for them to tell me that they were waiting to hear back from the inspector and someone would call me by the end of the day. No one called. I called again this morning, to be told that the inspector did not find bed bugs so they would only be refunding us $175 which is the cleaning fee for our inconvenience. I explained to her I had photos, a police report, and was told by their staff to leave. She said we left on our own free will and would receive no compensation since pests and rodents are in their contract. Let me also add, they would only give us the $175 if we signed a refund contract stating we would not put anything on social media about our experience or give any negative reviews. When I refused to sign they said I could not get any of my money back at all. I asked them to explain what kind of bugs they were if not bed bugs and since when did having live larvae in your mattress not mean something. I have cried, talked politely, and begged for them to tell me that they could do nothing for us.

Do not use V Trips. If you have an issue it will not he handled.
June 17, 2019

Do not use V Trips. If you have an issue it will not he handled.

We were under the impression that we had booked directly through VRBO. The property was listed on their site but V Trips/Vacation Rental Pros somehow became the company we were dealing with. We're unable to leave reviews for the property itself because it cannot be found on the site we originally booked through.

We stayed 5 nights in 1774 St Andrew's Common, Hilton Head, SC in May 2019. The condo looks nice. It is very small but decorated and inviting. However the bed is at least 20 years old and was so soft it caused me a back injury. Management was alerted to the issue the first night. The second day, maintenance arrived, and some boards "from a shelf in the office" were placed under the faulty mattress in an effort to solve the issue that the mattress itself was causing. This of course this did nothing to solve the problem. He told us that the mattress was clearly not up to their standards and the owner would need to replace it to keep renting it out, which did not occur during our stay. I was offered a cot. Not switched to another unit even with 4 remaining nights left to our stay. Management was aware that for the rest of our stay I was sleeping on the floor next to the king size bed. Management was absolutely no help. We requested a beach wheelchair which we called around and found at a pharmacy that was available to rent for $130 for the week in hopes that I could still enjoy the activities we had planned. They also refused to do that. So not only was I not able to sleep, but I wasn't able do much of what we had planned for our vacation. In the end, a week after checkout, we were offered 50 dollars compensation for our trouble. So approximately a 6% discount for the awful experience that could have been avoided simply by changing us to another unit with a newer bed and without strict AC controls.

It was listed nowhere in our booking info that the AC is programmed to not be set below 73 degrees. When the maintenance man was adding boards to the bed he set thermostat to go to 71. Afterward it would randomly turn off as if someone was using an app or remote to control the thermostat in the unit. There were no ceiling fans and the heat and humidity of the area without being allowed to use the *advertised* air conditioning at night, along with the nightmare sleeping situation made for 5 nights of awful sleep.

The water had a sulfuric odor and the shower curtain was slimy and black. Charged cleaning fee but unit was not very clean upon our arrival. The plastic patio furniture was cheap and very old. A previous guest wrote a review mentioning the condition of the patio furniture and v trips responded with a lie and said it would be handled. But when we stayed there months later it was still the same furniture they claimed to have replaced. Now that I've seen more reviews online since our stay, I can see that the issue is with V Trips (Vacation Rental Pros) and not necessarily the property owners. I can also see how fortunate I was compared to other people's horriffic experiences.

Hilton Head is an incredible place to visit, but I will not be booking with V trips in the future.
