From planning through departure at the end of our stay this has been an easy, pleasant experience. The Overton Cottage and host could not have been any nicer. The views, quiet setting, privacy and sophisticated casual accommodations were worth every penny. The guest bedroom is separate from the master bedroom. Each had very nice bathrooms and plenty of towels. If you're looking for a quiet place with amazing views and no ambient lights, you just found it. The screened in back porch made for great relaxation watching the birds and the water. The Wi-Fi was not an issue. The Eastern Neck National Wildlife Reserve is just 1/2 mile south and Rock Hall is only about out 10 minutes north with shopping and restaurants. Our sailboat tour added to the experience and was very affordable with Captain Mark of Blue Crab Charters. We like to leave a place nicer than we found it. There was no way to do that. It was immaculate and very welcoming. Bravo to the owners.

Vrbo reservation ID: HA-86M0H4 This house was dirty. Bathroom basin was hanging off the wall. Grime in the tile grout around shower. Grime around the kitchen sink. Air conditioner blows hot air. Bed was new apparently, but so hard the floor would have been more comfortable. Owner was nice enough man. He honestly believes the house was presentable to charge good money for a rental. He will not refund me at all. I have video of all my claims. I would not ever recommend this company.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Williamsburg Sampler Inn. Comfortable room with silky sheets and a large shower. Loved the eclectic charm of the inn. The breakfasts were very varied with fresh fruit, yogurt with berries, eggs with home fries, shortcake with fresh strawberries and wonderful breads and muffins. The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We plan on returning again.

This is more of a question. I have a home I have been renting on VRBO for 2 years. Just recently I had a family arrive late evening, after 7pm, after driving all day from Georgia. The morning after their first night I was messaged by a person claiming they are a neighbor and that they was excessive noise from the property late at night. This could only have been the pool area by the lake. I asked the person where they lived (stating I wasn't asking for their actual address, just roughly, in the same street, across the lake etc). They have still not responded with that information, I have now asked 3 times during each response and they ignore that question each time. I contacted my immediate neighbors (either side, opposite), and they say that there was no noise or issue at all as far as they are aware.

The fact this person knew to look on VRBO and message her complaint that way seems odd. Also odd that a family with children, who had driven all day, arrived in the evening, would then ‘party loudly' until late hours.

I was just wondering if other owners have received suspect complaints, and what the motives might be?

After multiple issues with AirBNB we tried out VRBO and have not looked back since. Much better overall experience. Better Customer Service too!

Vintage Gardens B&B is a charming historical house, nicely decorated, well organized and very clean and cozy. The owners thought of every little detail of possible needs and wants of the guests. The landlady was charming and personable, and breakfast was gourmet. A special touch was that without our knowledge she put cookies and a trail mix in our food bag.As we were traveling on our bicycles along Erie canal, this was very helpful.We highly recommend this BnB.

Can not go wrong staying here. Mike and Anne Marie are terrific hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. Felt like we were visiting old friends. Did I mention the breakfasts are positively delicious.

I found the Green Palm Inn in Savannah, Ga. What a gem! A perfect hostess, innkeeper. Fabulous cook. Every breakfast was more delicious than the last, always had cookies, sweets and had a "Happy Hour" (two) at 4:30. The rooms were great. Each has it's own bath and the decor was what you'd want for Historic Old Savannah. Beds were excellent.
My wife was celebrating her 80th birthday and Diane treated us and the other guests like family. Couldn't have been better. There's only four rooms, so make your reservations early, as I did.

I've used bedandbreakfast.com several times on trips to Europe. My accommodations were always fine, though varied in specifics, from standard hotel-type room to room in family dwelling. All the descriptions were accurate, though sometimes details were left out. This service doesn't gouge bnb-owners like Tripadvisor, nor surveil like monopolists like Facebook.

My husband & I took a chance on a business card we picked up while we were searching for antiques in the quaint city of Lexington, Oglethorpe County, Georgia.
We decided to come back to Lexington to search out one of my husbands ancestors,
Judge Joseph Henry Lumpkin and found the perfect way to do this was by going to an event that was to be held here in October. Legends of Oglethorpe was held on Saturday, October 28,2017, and we needed a place to stay. We decide to book the weekend at The Chicken Coop Bed 'n Breakfast, guided by the business card we picked up in the town of Lexington. Upon arriving to the "roost" we were welcomed by Sonja Armour. She & her husband Norman were great hosts and made us feel right at home. It was late when we arrived and she recommended some good restaurants. When we returned cake and ice cream, with coffee and tea awaited us. I have a gluten sensitivity and all through the stay she made sure she prepared my food to perfect standards. Sonja is a wonderful cook and excellent hostess. She truly listened to our travel excursions both mornings at breakfast and added comments on her and Norman's travels and life together. The food was so good and she even shared her mother's fried grits recipe made better, of course, with her added ingredients! You must stay with this delightful couple if you are ever in their area. You will not be disappointed!

We have had the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations at this location. With a private entrance to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico side you can enjoy walks on the beach and the most amazing sunsets. The Spanish Main Yacht Club community is very welcoming and the bungalow is like our home away from home with everything you could want. The owners are very gracious. Longboat Key is conveniently located between Sarasota and Anna Maria Island with many shops and places to eat to choose from.

Northern Lights Bed and Breakfast in Hendersonville/Flat Rock, NC ******* was absolutely a wonderful place to get away and be pampered by the owners. This was our first B&B experience but it will not be our last. The home was beautiful, sparkling clean and the owners treated us like family... and served delicious breakfasts. We are currently trying to get together with friends and go back to enjoy the Fall beauty. $#*! & Dot Hipp

The Cheshire Cat Inn B & B of Santa Barbara, California is a must stay if you visit the area. The innkeepers were very welcoming. Our room was lovely with a fireplace and hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and our room was very clean. The Inn is one block from the main street where you can walk to stores, restaurants and the beach. Their food was creative, delicious and the portions were generous. Their daily happy hour with local Santa Barbara wines was wonderful. Staff were very friendly and always helpful.
Delightful!

I have stayed at B&B's around the world for more than 40 years and none have impressed me more than the Topanga Canyon Inn. Not only was the location above Topanga Canyon spectacular, but the hospitality of graciousness of our hostess, Elena Roche and her family made my wife and I feel "at home" for our entire three day stay.

The beautiful Spanish-style décor of the Inn was enhanced by paintings of the local flora by Elena who, in addition to being a lovely hostess, is a superb watercolorist.

Elena joined us for incredible breakfasts each day, engaging in wonderful conversations with us and our fellow guests, who had come from Germany, England,
Texas, and Colorado. Meeting new friends with various backgrounds and experiences is one of the joys of staying at a B&B.

On our final day when we had to depart for the airport before the normal breakfast time, Elena made sure that we would not go hungry and prepared a meal of waffles (with mixed berry compote), eggs, blueberry muffins and fresh melon. What a wonderful way to end our visit.

We look forward to coming back to the Topanga Canyon Inn whenever we return to the Los Angeles area.

I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. My family just had a wonderful visit there. The owners are just great. It is beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely good! I think it is my favorite Bed and Breakfast that I've ever stayed at.

My husband and I had never stayed in a bed & breakfast inn before, so for our 41st wedding anniversary we decided to make an overnight trip to Lancaster County, PA. For our first-time experience staying at a bed & breakfast, we were delighted with how wonderful the Boxwood Inn Bed & Breakfast turned out to be. The setting is an immaculately-kept large home that was built in 1768, before the U.S. was even a country. Surrounded by trees and a large yard, one would hardly know they were on the edge of town with traffic whizzing by. Even though we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast, we commented that it would be a wonderful place to just camp out while sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, reclining on a sofa on the large enclosed back porch, or sitting outside at a table on the stone patio. Idyllic would be a good word to describe it. Our host, Greg, was most gracious and accommodating with a servant's heart. He cooked a hearty and tasty breakfast, and upon our request, sat down with us to chat while we ate. Upon learning of a very recent sorrowful event in his life, we were in awe of what a selfless man Greg truly is and how he is one who looks to the interests of others even before his own. I can not say enough good things about our brief stay at the Boxwood Inn Bed & Breakfast. I would most enthusiastically recommend it to anyone.

Host canceled my non-refundable reservation made for my family of 9s vacation 7 day's before check-in. I booked a condo in West Palm Beach 2 month's in advance and had to pay upfront in full.

7 days before check-in I received an email with check-in info. Only to be followed by an email canceling my reservation and issuing a refund. Their reason was the current occupants may have COVID. Despite current quarantine guidelines being 5 days.

The real problem is their service for rebooking is HORRIBLE and very unhelpful if you can even get in touch with them.

Prices doubled for rooms due to lack of availability which made me wonder if COVID was the real reason for canceling or was the host being gready and saw a way to get out of my reservation and go with a higher bidder. I wouldn't know because they never returned any of my calls.

I decided to call the resort we were supposed to stay in, only to find out my information was never provided to them. The manager told me I should have received an email confirmation directly from them when booked as the host should have notified them. After finding this out I messaged them on the VRBO app stating that I plan to get a lawyer involved if I do not get some answers. They responded to that only message saying that "threats will not help the situation" and pointing out I got a refund.

REFUND? What good was that this was a 2 week family vacation 1 week here and the next in another location. Travel was booked and everything was set. I didn't want a refund I wnat my non-refundable vacation!

With no help feom VRBO I had to split my family into 2 smaller rooms in different resorts. Oh and using another site I was put in direct contact with the owners and received immediate confirmation from the resorts after booking.

VRBO takes no responsibility and very poor options for solutions. All they told me was that the host will be downgraded on there site. Not removed, not charged anything, but downgraded!

Thanks for nothing but 2 days of aggravation VRBO!

VRBO has been tremendous in getting our refund back in the number
Of days they told us, first class organization we will use them again going forward i did not call them I used the connect button & the operator was the best we were typing back & forth to each other & she made it very easy, I'm reading some of the negative comments just wondering how much patience they showed during these tough times one gave 5 stars then a negative comment what's that all about, good job VRBO & thank you, I would like to give my confirmation number so the operator gets credit but that might not be safe to do signed Philip M.

I have unfortunately had to cancel two reservation in the last couple of months because of the Covid-19. I am a front-line health care worker and have been restricted as to my ability to travel more than most. My first trip was canceled in early March due to an outbreak in the Mountains. Then host was very kind and gave me a full refund just one week prior to my scheduled trip. If I had gone I would have lost two weeks of pay due to forced quarantine.
The next reservation had to be canceled because my summer vacation has been removed due expected increase case load during the summer. Again the host has given a full refund.

I have always had great experiences with VRBO but their hosts have gone above and beyond in this crisis.

This was not my first rodeo with rental properties, but my first with VRBO. Three couples, including my wife and I, had booked this trip to Charleston SC back in February of this year, 2020. Unfortunately with the current state of affairs we've had to cancel, for the time being. Being from Canada only complicated things even more with the closure of our two borders. But I must say my experience with "Misha" at VRBO in Charleston was nothing short of spectacular. I found her to have been completely sympathetic and understanding and worked very hard on our behalf. VRBO certainly played a role in this as well and reacted with the same understanding as "Misha". I must add that I was surprised at some of the ratings that are exhibited for the company as this was not my experience with "Misha". When this is all done, we do intend on rebooking for Charleston, through VRBO and hopefully thru "Misha". Please accept our gratitude and thanks and we certainly understand that you do have a business to run and need to stay afloat - especially in these uncertain times. I really appreciated you taking the time and calling me personally in order to come to some kind of agreement. Your personal touch and attention to our needs are more than appreciated. Hope to deal with you again. Thank you. I hope this review reaches your eyes.

Maybe us homeowners need to find a good investagative reporter. This has gotten out of hand. Tired of no longer being able to make decisions regarding who occupies MY PROPERTY.

Booked a 4 weeks stay in Las Palmas early next year (2021). Due to the corona status and vaccinations will not be available we decided to cancel our booking.

I received an email stating that I would receive a refund in 5 work days. And today after 4 days 2893€ was in my bankaccount. Thanks!

Wonderful Cabin especially for a larger group. Backs up to a forest. Pets are welcome and ours thoroughly enjoyed being outside. Really nice layout and bathrooms everywhere which was really nice. Peaceful and serene. Greatly enjoyed the gas fire pit on the patio, the hot tub and the wonderful ranch table next to the kitchen. Perfect for board games! Only opportunity is that the kitchenware and appliances could use a refresh. Washer and Dryer were perfect. Brian and Sara were very responsive to our needs and quickly supported a request to extend the stay an additional day. Thank you!

Datai in North Caicos - If you are looking for a very nice, relaxing place, this is it. The clean, sandy beach is a short walk down the 50 foot wooden walkway. The water is some of the nicest I have ever seen and I've travelled a lot. Lots of good snorkeling, kayaks, bikes and a ping pong table are included. One can walk to a local eatery/watering hole on the sandy beach and there are numerous nearby sights to see with scheduled events at various restaurants during the week. A great place!

CASA SUNSHINE WAS FABULOUS! WE LOVED OUR MONTH STAY IN THIS VERY COMFORTABLE HOUSE. JONI, THE OWNER WAS SO VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THE HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED, AND STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE GARDEN IN BACK WAS BEAUTIFUL AND HAD A VERY NICE PRIVATE POOL. LOVED WATCHING THE HUMMINGBIRDS EVERYDAY. THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE WE'VE STAYED ON COZUMEL, AND WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK. PROPERTY #*******
