I wish I'd found this site before I ordered.

Seems reasonable, right?
I ordered a regular size, no custom made. The dress on the site is beautiful and flowy looking. What I received looks like a cardboard box in comparison - probably partly because I'm not a size 2, and partly because it just isn't well made. I immediately sent a mail asking how to return it, stating that I understood I would have to pay for postage. Below is the conversation I've had when them over the last five days.
Dear customer,
We are sorry to hear that.
For your condition. Please measure your body measurement like picture
Below about " bust, waist, hip" and take picture to show us that
Measurement then we will help you out timely. Hope you can understand.
If we made the wrong size for you, we will take responsibility.
Looking forward to your reply, thanks!
Best regards
Ken
Hello Ken,
I did not order a custom size, I am returning a standard size. Please provide return information, thank you.
Dear Customer,
Please understand this is our normal process for return. We really
Want to help you out, but we also need your cooperation to offer some
Pictures to verify the problem firstly. If we made the wrong size for
You. We will take responsibility.
No matter it is standard size or custom size. We made the dress as
Customer order.
Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!
Best Regards,
Ken
Dear Ken,
No, Ken, I do not understand. The issue is, I DO NOT LIKE/WANT THE DRESS. I loved it in the picture, I do not like it in person, it does not flow the way I thought it would, the shoulders are awkward, I simply do not like it.
Here is your return policy, with the section the applies to my order highlighted. As you can clearly see, there is no "but we need you to take a picture of your body first" requirement for a dress that is ordered as a regular size, which is what I ordered:
Products with quality-related issues may be returned for a refund or exchange by contacting Customer Service within 7 days of receiving your order. Voguemoments.com will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred.
Products (excluding Custom Made Item, disposable, and Clearance items) with no quality-related issues may be returned for a refund or exchange by contacting Customer Service within 7 days of receiving your order. You will be responsible for all return shipping fees incurred.
For Custom Made item, if it does not fit properly but were made accurately according to your order specifications, you are eligible for a free, one-time-only re-sizing service. You are responsible for all shipping fees incurred.
Any product that has been used does not qualify for a return or exchange. All returned items must be in brand-new condition, unused and with original tags and packaging.
Now, please provide the return authorization and address. I have contacted you within seven days, the dress has not been worn and is in brand new packaging, the original tags and packaging will be returned. If your usual process is to require women to send pictures of their measurements for non-custom sizes, you need to change your return policy as listed on the site, but as it reads right now, all I am responsible for is return shipping fees, and I understand that.
Thank you again,
A
Dear Customer,
Sorry for the trouble to you
If you insist on return, we just can refund 50% of the dress value to
You and you should take the postage based on our return policy.
As customer service, we also hope you can keep the dress and accept
Our suggestion.
If you really don't want to keep the dress, We suggest you resell it
Or give your friends as gifts.
Ken,
Why only 50%? That is not what your return policy states...
At this point, I'm pretty resigned to the fact that they aren't going to accept a return. I'll probably try to go through my credit card company to dispute it. Maybe I'll pull a Molly Ringwald and cut it all up and make another dress and Blaine will fall in love with me. I don't know.
Just don't do it.
Don't. Do. It.
I ordered a bridesmaids dress from this website in June. It was "custom-made" using measurements I sent in. When I received the dress, it was too big in the shoulders and had no waist - it looked like a potato sack. The WORST part was that it was completely uneven. The dress had ruching across the entire bodice, but it didn't match up at the center seam, so it made it appear as though my entire upper body was lob-sided. I emailed the company with pictures and they agreed to refund me $17.95 of the $140.00 I had spent. Not what I was looking for, but I figured "I'll take what I can get." In July I emailed the company again to let them know that the refund had never posted in my bank account. I never got a response. In August I emailed them again about the refund and to inform them that I'd had to spend $148.00 in alterations, just to make the dress wearable. Out of 8 bridesmaids, 5 of them had to have their dresses altered and 3 of those spent over $100 in alteration costs. Mind you, all 8 of us had DIFFERENT dresses. So, it wasn't just the same dress that they did a terrible job of making over and over again. This company has been a complete nightmare - from the quality of their merchandise to their customer service. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT order a dress from them or any of their affiliates. I found it interesting that when you search for their contact number **************, several websites come up, including: newdress2015.com, dress2014.com voguedress2014.com, peachesboutique.com, gindress.com, cheap-dressuk.co.uk, dress2015.com, etc. All of which list the same sales and factory address (UNIT 04,7/F, BRIGHT WAY TOWER, NO. 33 MONG KOK ROAD, KOWLOON), meaning that no matter which of their 20+ websites you order from, your dress is being made by the same, unskilled seamstresses.
