My company was emailed by Gina out of the Kansas office asking us to bid on a janitorial service for one of their customers. In reviewing the "on boarding" demands, a couple of things stood out. First, the do a net 45 for payment. For a small business, that may be devastating on cash flow. The second was a "7% fee, maxed out at $700 per year, for processing invoices" Apparently they take this fee right out of your invoice, so in essence they require you to take a loss ( if you're being honest in your pricing... yeah I could have simply added a markup to offset the loss. I'm not built like that. I play honest.)Icalled Gina, left a voicemail regarding my concerns on these points, saying that I would prefer a 30 day net payment, and that the 7% charge should be absorbed by them as opposed to my company asI didn't employ the processor, they did. I didn't hear back, so I called Gina back, asking about these concerns. She told me that they wouldn't change or accommodate any change in their onboarding. She further told me that the board made those rules, not her. I asked to speak to one of these board members, so I might find out if there was some compromise we could make. I expressed a sincere interest in partnering with them. She took a very defensive tone and further told me that she couldn't do that, so I asked to speak to anyone who would be able to discuss this further. She flat out refused, getting even more defensive, so I laughed at her and told her to take us off their frigging list. She continued saying we weren't on a list, she found me... I cut her off, told her to have a nice day and hung up. Please, do not do any business with this company. I looked up reviews for this company from vendors and they have received a 1 star review from nearly everyone, predominantly for them not adhering to their own rules regarding time frame for payment, as well as lack of communication. I can't attest to their non adherence to payment, but I CAN attest to lack of communication, AND the lack of professionalism within their people. Should anyone want to discuss this with me, you may email me at *******@yahoo.com, or, you may call me at my direct line of *******787.
