Tell quality technicians, my door knob has come off 2 times since then installing. They have very poor service. The salesman harass and lie to get customers to sign up.

Vivant takes young adults from all over the country and drops them in different states to sell their product, much like those magazine companies did in the 80s and 90s. They've dropped dozens of very young adults here in Oklahoma without food and water. The people spend all day going door to door and have an very aggressive sales pitch, ignoring the laws of the state. I imagine it's because that's how they earn their keep. This is a terrible company and what they are doing is the literal definition of human trafficking. Contact the Choctaw OK Police and Midwest City Police for more information, as they are finally cracking down. I hope these people are taken out of this horrific situation and sent back home.

We had it for three months so far and noticed charge us two time within one month. One is Vivint pay and another one is Fortiva so combined we pay 75$ which is more than we used to have ADT! If it more money why I have to change it? All Liars and my salesperson never answer phone refusing doing anything! Operator cannot do anything only says will try that's it! Anyone Please Do NOT use VIVINT!

THE WORST AND CROOKS

I am keeping this brief but what a nightmare. The batteries constantly go bad and I mean constantly on every single gadget on your doors and windows. When this happens your panel makes a gawwd awful bonging sound and does not stop. When I finally got tired of the hassle of trying to keep batteries and bonging down I called and cancelled and they gave me a hard time and charged me $500.00 and made it difficult to even do that. I got cut off 3 times and on and on. They said that they were going to send me a closing bill for more. There are much better out there now. Now if I could figure out how to turn the darn thing off since it is bonging again.

My alamar went off this morning and I was unable to turn it off, customer service couldn't help. Finally I was able to turn it off by myself. Some of the sensors are not functioning correctly so they told me to have a technician come and check I have to pay. That is not what what I was told when I installed the system. THEN THE Alarm went off for 5 minutes and no one called from VIVINT or no emergency services were dispatched. Thank god it was not and emergency but what if it was and my family or I needed help. I am very disappointed with this situation and the services that this company has provide. I will be contacting the adequate department on Monday and discontinuing this service that is does not deliver adequate security.

I have had nothing but problems with the system and other than the 5 agents that hung up on me the agents are fine little bit if language barrier I wanted my money back and removale if the system and they talked me into swapping out what ever I art of the system was malfunctioning and now they refuse to let me return the equipment and remove the product that doesn't give me a warm and safe feeling which I thought a security system was to do make you feel secure

I ordered the whole system, it's been a month and I still don't have my doorbell but yet they want their money. Wish I'd never signed up. And Scheduling is a joke!

My door camera was always hit and miss, they never seem to fix the issue and claimed that it was some upgrade software etc. I said I'm not paying for services that not work, so they disabled and closed my account only to now have Users to my house who are not authorized and they would NOT help in deleting those USERS off of my key lock. They only want your MONEY! Better off installing your own Cameras and other equipment then to use theirs as they don't work in my opinion.

Had a broken smoke alarm, they wanted to charge me to send a technician to change a smoke alarm, I told them it's so easy I don't need a technician, they demanded a technician be sent, I called several times before a normal person finally ended up mailing me a new one.

Not Honest

The salesman came to my door and seemed really nice. He gave a great presentation and I was convinced to switch alarm systems. First red flag was that he didn't give me a chance to schedule installation and just told the technicians to come without asking me if I had time for a 4 hour installation. He told me I was approved for $4000 credit and that my equipment would cost me $3100. Coincidentally the taxes and other hidden fees He didn't mention can to exactly $4000. The technicians just started walking through my house and taking down my current security system after I told them not to because I was paid through the year and was going to keep it and compare. They do not have any wireless cameras or equipment. Before I knew it, I had holes drilled and cords running all through my house in very noticeable places. The motion sensor doesn't pick up vehicles that pull in the yard or when we walk around the yard, yet it went off every 15 minutes at all hours of the night detecting the rain outside. My Ring System picks up everything I need it to and nothing I don't. You cannot purchase additional equipment to add and install yourself. You have to make an service appointment every time. The salesman lied to me and said I had 30 days to cancel the service. I'm glad that I read the contract that stated 3 days. Be very cautious with their unethical sales and business practices.

Absolute Garbage Customer Service-STAY AWAY
March 1, 2023

I spend an hour and a half on the phone trying to cancel my service for an address I hadn't lived at for 14 months. Spoke to multiple departments-the time I spent on hold was approx 45minutes of that 1.5 hour. At the end of it, they couldn't take care of it on the phone...I have to write a notice of cancelation and wait for them to get back to me. I am livid. I hate my time being wasted. Never again!

HORRIBLE

Well I guess I should have looked here before giving these con-artists my business! Well I'll add some color to these lames...

1. This company is deceitful. They totally got me in communicating the contract terms. They told me that I could finance the equipment for 60 months, but only have a 36 service contract, with the understanding that if/when I stopped service I would need to pay off the equipment. I agreed to that, but they snuck in that 60 month term and I didn't catch it. Now of course they wont honor it.
2. Their equipment is HORRIBLE! I had to replace my thermostats, yes both, after they died. Of course just after my year warranty expired! Their cameras (yes it is their best) don't work. I can walk to my car, get in and drive away for hours, come back and the camera will show that I never left (yes the settings are right on the cameras). Of course, its going to cost me money for them to come out and fix it.
3. They are dangerous, creating a false sense of security for my family. It's better to have no security at all!

Oh when I call, that's when they stand behind their contract...maybe if they tried standing behind your products and service they would earn a higher rating than 1.06 stars.

Poor customer service
August 26, 2022

I own a rental home in which my renters installed a Vivint security system. The renters are moving out, and Vivint broke a window in my rental home when they were removing their equipment. I contacted Vivint, and they will only deal with the renters on this claim since the renters have the account with them. It is unacceptable that Vivant will not deal directly with me regarding the damage that Vivant did to the house that I own. In the future, I would not allow another renter to install a Vivint system.

Up front they seem helpful, desire to meet the needs of your business but oh how wrong this is!
I have zero confidence in this company. I cannot get anyone to resolve our issues which are numerous. From billing to service or lack there of I have been passed from person to person and no one has any authority to do anything. The promisesade were from individuals who no longer work there (not my problem) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My husband bought a house and it had a vivint unit already installed, when they got word of a new owner they were pushy and pressured him into paying for a subscription that he has tried to cancel + end for over 7 months now, they call us daily harassing for money and every time we tell them we want to cancel and every time they call back the next day begging for money and it repeats, they send letters threatening termination of service then never going so, they send threatening emails and never follow through. This week they decided to not only send us letters but also charge us $200+ in one day! 4 months of unauthorized service charged back to back using DEBIT and was requested to be held by vivint, we called the bank to despite the charge and she was confused and said to call back when the payment is no longer pending when the money already came out. We are currently a hour into being on hold, we not only triggered the house alarm then got hung up on the home unit but are still actively on hold right now, this company is absolutely terrible and disrespectful, their actual service isn't good either, we waited 5 minutes before someone was contacted for a door alarm then was hung up on with no reply when called back. An actual joke

I have had vivint at 2 of my homes, yes I got pulled into it based on smart home features that I love a lot and it has been a nightmare getting out of it without losing all the gadgets. Also, once the system starts working it works fairly well, other than when it stops working. Most times you won't even know that it doesn't work. When you try to call customer service that is when you will notice that NOBODY AT VIVINT CARES especially if you are on their VERY LONG CONTRACT. It is like going with a big party to a restaurant and the restaurant adding 18-20% tip to the bill and you realizing that you didn't get the service you deserved.
Please take it from somebody with multiple experiences with Vivint, don't sign up with them. They don't deserve your money and you don't deserve the headache that I have been dealing with for some time now.

I can't properly describe how absolutely HORRID our experience with Vivint was. After spending hours installing everything (except the 2 things we actually wanted cuz they "weren't compatible") they left at like midnight only for our air conditioning to be broken. In the middle of summer. Two days later they finally sent someone to fix it but he DIDNT then left without telling us. After hours trying to contact someone they said the earliest they could send a technician to fix our aircon was in a month. Mind you it's 85-100 degrees outside. Finally they said they'd reimburse us for hiring someone to come fix our air con. We canceled Vivint - which room several hours on the phone - and a month later I'm still waiting for my refund. Also the customer service SUCKS. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Vivint is a is bull$#*!

I have had vivint for 4 years after the first year or two is when my equipment started to messing up so I call them they want a 100 dollars to come and fix what there employers hook up wrong after they fix everything my driveway stop working and my hub will not stay connected to Wi-Fi so I call them and let them know what's going on but they want us to pay for the issue and keep your bill paid so I tell them I'm not paying them $#*! in til they fix it so vivint call me asking about a payment I told them I don't owe you anything long as my equipment is not working and you all have not sent anyone to fix it how do I owe you what do us customers look like paying for your services and it has not worked in 4 or 5 months but they want me to keep paying that's a $#*!in scam

Absolutely horrible tech support/customer service. They ONLY know the script and just keep repeating it. The most unhelpful call center I've ever dealt with. The entire company feels like a big scam.
