I've been ordering products from VistaPrint for a long time. Whenever I contact them via online chat or phone, they always provide me with support as quickly as possible. Today, there was a mistake in the order I placed, and through online chat, this lovely lady Cynthia quickly provided a solution and assisted me superbly. I'm very grateful to her and wish her success in her professional life.

Very poor quality. They will not make their product right. They will blame you for not sending a high quality logo. They will send you some terrible quality printed merchandise and refuse to make it right, you're stuck with what they send you…. Lesson learned here.

I'm a small business, we ordered marketing materials and shirts for staff for an event
Notified the day of arrival wont even ship for a week, paid extra to arrive on time.
$$$$ spent waisted event a bust with staff not in uniform, no giveaways, no flyers, nothing
Even the 1 item they managed to print didn't arrive.
We are disappointed, and frustrated! Being small dependability from vendors is a must.

I was using VistaPrint for my website. The rate has increased more than 3x in one year without legal notice. The customer service concerning the matter when I wanted to cancel was so bad that I am reconsidering using VistaPrint for other products and services.

I ordered a custom mask from VistaPrint and only learned after I was notified of its shipment, that it was coming from China. I am giving VistaPrint a low rating because corporations need to cut ties with China. They unleashed a bio-attack on the world, aimed at the US, and have caused a terrible amount of death and suffering without taking responsibility. I will never order from VistaPrint again until they severe all ties to China.

Vistaprint is going through a merger with Wix. They have completely disrupted businesses with inoperable calendars. Calendar invitations are disappearing, recipients are unable to see links to join meetings, calendar invites are unable to show on phone and saved information within the invites is disappearing. This has gone on for over a month with little to no sense of urgency to correct the problem. You are kind of trapped if you website and email is with this organization. We were holding out to see if Wix would be any better but it seems at this point we will have to explore other options. This is a time commitment that cost us money. I would strongly recommend using someone other than Vistaprint.

I use VistaPrint for printing and mailing services for postcards for mailing for my small business. The quality of the printing is good, but the website is VERY difficult to deal with and half the time I can't get my order processed due to glitches (they have acknowledged the issues). Also their mailing services kick out about 10% of my addresses, which upon further investigation have no problems. It also automatically pulls out multiple contacts at the same address and I have to manually add them back in (I mail to multiple contacts at the same company). After another frustrating experience with their website this week, I am looking for another printer.

I ordered two face masks at $15.00 each thinking they would be better quality than what I already have and they were poorer quality. I received one within 10 days delivered from a US location. The second one appeared to be shipping from China which I never received and would not have ordered if I knew it was shipping internationally. At least Vistaprint credited me for the second mask.

Vistaprint advertises discounts and low prices. What they don't tell you is that their shipping costs are inflated to compensate for those lower prices. Which may not be that low anyway. The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration says the shipping costs shown on a separate line are not taxable UNLESS the shipping costs reflect an inflated price. In other words, Vistaprint inflates the cost of shipping beyond what it costs them so they have to charge sales tax on that shipping charge. Very creative and very sneaky. One winds up paying anywhere from 12 to 15 percent sales tax. So much for a low cost alternative.

I signed up for a website design and my intent was to pay them a monthly fee to manage the site.
I cannot for the life of me get them to actually read what I needed them to do.
It was not complicated. I repeatedly asked them to complete the information that THEY REQUESTED.
They kept saying they updated the information, they did not.
Very dissapointing.

Vista print seemed like a good option for ordering a few logo clothing items. An order was placed over a month before the items were needed. 4 items were ordered and 2 were received right away. The other 2 were still 'in process'. The date of anticipated delivery passed and I followed up with customer service and have now talked to 3 different people. No one can get an answer from production as to where our order is or when it will be done. And now we won't have a much needed Christmas gift for a party. The customer service staff I've talked to have tried to help me, but their process is a game of telephone with no one having the answer. So I would strongly recommend finding an alternative option for clothing orders.

This will be a long and detailed review. They certainly do not make it easy. While trying to order business cards which I've yet to receive so I'm unable to comment on their quality; I ran into MANY unsavory issues. The first is the design process, and options. It should not be 9 dollars more for a piece of card stock that is a fraction of a millimeter thicker than its counterparts. The design menu is buggy and difficult to use. You must click things several times, and if your images or lettering touch anywhere an error bubble will pop up. Which makes it infuriating trying to move the box if it is small because you can't click on it when the bubble is in the way, and if you can, you have to click it two or three times then drag it somewhere else. The snap is hit or miss, sometimes it helps, not very accurately placing your "letter boxes" in a roughly "even" orientation which is completely negated if you choose any different fonts or sizes. Letter sizing also cannot be adjusted to decimals either, when you click the size it pulls up a number keyboard with no point or period. Carrying on, the snap also makes precision extremely difficult because every time you try to drag the box into its desired placement it snaps to some random increment somewhere you don't want it EVERY TIME. And do not try to zoom in or out on a mobile phone, the second that two of your fingers touch the screen it zooms in 25% and you can keep zooming in, but you just… simply… ABSOLUTELY CANNOT ZOOM OUT. It just does not work period. Again; it is infuriating. Finally, upon completion of your design it can be saved in your cart for a few days which is actually pretty handy but that's about where the fun stops. Click checkout and get a hit with a nice creampie of new problems. Firstly you cannot make a purchase without an account. Which means whether you like it or not, they have and (because of their cookie policy) they sell your information to all those scammers in India who keep sending you emails from amzazon and gogle with 18+ links and surveys. Claim your 500 dollar prize, Xbox one, Dewalt power drill… etc, now. Ridiculous. Team red anyway. So go ahead then and give them all of your personal info so Kardeep in India can steal your credit card information and sell it back to you. Then you get to pay for shipping. Which you might think would have a free option for 500 pieces of 2 by 1 green paper with some words on it. But if you thought that like I did, you, like me, would be a fool. Actually you get to pay 10 dollars for the cheapest shipping they have on an item that weighs 2 ounces and costs them half a dollar to ship. Which by the way, will not arrive for 15 days. Business days mind you. Or you can pay 15 dollars so it can arrive in 10. Or you can just pay 30 and have your cards in a week. Next day does not exist to them and do not think that if you pay more that you'll get a better price for shipping. Because they actually have a nice link you can click where they explain that if you're paying for 200 dollars worth of product shipping will be like 60 dollars. Unless of course you buy their membership! Which is a low low price of X dollars per month, pure profit, which they will then give you the option to do something we now all know they are capable of doing anyway, free shipping. Every step of the way was an ad, a paywall, or some buggy "feature" that just made the process abundantly difficult. Had I not spend the time designing the card I wanted, I'd have gone and spent 20% less, got free shipping, had my cards in 5 business days, my internet security, and maybe an hour or two of time I could have spent laying in a hammock, or petting a dog or something. Or anything that was not the misery of trying to just order some cards for my business. Order 500 it's like 5 bucks more expensive than 250. Thanks for coming to my rant. If you made it this far you probably think this is pretty funny or you're a good business owner. Either way Love y'all. Unless you are Kardeep from India. Then I, and all my new friends who are reading this, do not love you. Image attached of the dog I could have been petting instead.

Tip for consumers:
There is no free shipping unless you buy a membership, and you have to create an account to buy literally anything.

I ordered 4 logo printed mugs and they were shipped UPS in an unmarked box (nothing that says fragile) that was meant to hold six mugs with a top one sheet layer of bubble wrap over mugs in cardboard slots, a roll of bubble wrap in the empty 2 slots for the mug and handle. 2 or 4 mugs had handles broken off. And bottom of one mug chipped. One mug survived. The printing looks great. Online chat customer service was great. I offered up pictures and Customer service resent me 3 mugs. They shipped three in the same flimsy 6 mug box. Two are broken so bad the handles are shattered into many pieces. Looks almost deliberant. One mug survived. For over $50 I got two printed mugs. Not going to bother with customer service because I will just get more broken mugs. I do not recommend the mugs for delivery to Pennsylvania in the USA. They need to rethink their packaging for mugs or state order in quantities of 6. Customer service did a very good job and deserves a 5 star as it was not their fault their packaging and shipping breaks the items. However I am not paying top dollar for damaged goods. So bottom line is buy mugs elsewhere.

Tip for consumers:
Mug handles will breakoff. Not packaged well enough for shipping. Company address on billing is in Netherlands. Label on shipment in the US is from a printing company in Reno, Nevada.

I am the editor of a small publishing house, and I was looking to make bookmarks for our latest book. Unfortunately, the process with Vistaprint was long and arduous. They did not notice the second page of the file I sent them (with the back of the bookmark designed on it), and did not do the back of the bookmark properly. Then they sent me text with the lines transposed and the words run together. I sent it back with corrections. Then, they sent me text in which the letter "f" was missing. I sent back corrections. (To their credit, they did respond very quickly to my corrections.) Then they sent me text with large gaps, where the words ended long before the line did, leaving a hole in the text. At this point, I was frustrated, wondering if they even proofread what they sent me. The mistakes were so obvious. None of their errors were reflected in the perfect text I sent to them (twice). I called them -- twice! Long chats on the phone. They were very nice, polite, helpful. Then, when the bookmark was finally, finally looking decent, the 30% off coupon they had been dangling every time I got on their site just... disappeared! "It had expired," I was told. Perhaps because all of their errors took forever to correct...? So, I had to negotiate the price as well. They gave me 25% off, but the shipping was very expensive, wiping out half of my discount. Am I happy camper? Happy that it's over. We'll see how good the bookmark looks when it arrives. So, will I ever work with them again? Reluctantly. I will definitely be trying other sites first, hoping that I can find someone who proofreads what they do, and matches what they do to what is sent to them. Doesn't seem like too much to ask.

I clicked on a mobile ad for VistaPrint that offered 500 cards at $9.99. The process took me through a plethora of "offers", all designed to increase the billed amount. The shocker, though, was when I was asked to pay an additional $7 for shipping, not express, not standard, but the slowest possible one! Several coupons and offers claimed to take 50% off, but despite all that, I still ended up paying $28 instead.

I learned this the hard way: VistaPrint subscribe to the bad business practice of charging numerous hidden costs and fees.

This is a company that is a part of Google's Trusted Store network, most of which are mostly ethical. Today, most companies display their costs upfront, including shipping, so as to not cause last minute surprises to customers - everything about VistaPrint is against that paradigm. If you're not extraordinarily careful, VistaPrint can easily sneak in additional charges for things that you thought you weren't buying/paying for.

Tip for consumers:
Do not believe their advertised prices - they will sneak in charges, fees and shipping costs that increase the rates by 2 to 4 times.

This site has great prices but sometimes the quality is sub par. For example, I bought a couple of car magnets for my buisness, but the magnets are about a millimeter thick and the edges came bent, right out of the box! When I put the magnets on my car door they don't seal all the way around the edges. I have purchased business cards from them before (for cheap) and they were adequate. Personally I don't have to have super flash business cards so its no big deal.

Poor quality business cards - I just received some really poor quality business cards from Vista Print. I purchased the "premium" card stock and used their Photoshop template to upload graphics. The paper was cheap and flimsy, the cards were mis-cut (the borders were uneven), and the colors were washed out and pixelated. This was particularly surprising, as I had previously used their newsletter service which was pretty good.

I ordered small product labels. Needed some help with it and the customer service person ended up ordering me mailing labels. I did notice it before completing order called back spoke with someone who said sure i can change it to small product labels. And i even added 10 glossy on small product label... they came and were mailing labels. I called for help. Got an email first saying they are really both rounded edges. Which they are not. And sorry for the problem. Lol. Then i responded and someone else got back to me and said look in your history it says product labels. So that is what we sent. Talk about passing the buck. I responded to him and nobody even bothered. That is crummy service.

Although the prices seem cheap, the 'premium' business cards are really bad quality and badly printed, and you have to pay extra to have them sent to you in less than a month which is really bad.
Also they're like ryanair, they charge you for using your own design and loads of extra charges so the end result isn't the promised price.
I was also bombarded with marketing emails, which were very annoying.
Wouldn't buy from them again.

I made the mistake of starting an order for printed stationery (I was attracted by an initial free offer!) - with extra charges and upsell methods it blew out to an absurd cost and I did not proceed with the order. But they had captured my email and other details and I was then besieged for weeks with marketing emails. In the end I had to block them as a sender - nothing else worked.
