We deserve SOMETHING. I lost SO MANY trusted memories with them... I still have times I cry over this. My bother killed himself later and hi photos were in these as well. What can we do?! WE deserve our photos back, in addition to money. I'd be happy with the photos, but it Is UNREAL
These people ran a photo-hosting site that took money from people who entrusted VILLAGEPHOTOS.com to safeguard their irreplaceable photos... and they suddenly quit business and allowed all the photos to be lost.
Tip for consumers:
Do not entrust rare photos to strangers like these without assuring that you have copies.

8+ years and their site goes down, taking 800+ photos of mine with it. Not a word other then "were sorry".
Then to top it off, I paid over $480 in less then a year to host em all. Seems when you upgrade your plan for more space, you have to manually cancel your old automated payments with paypal, otherwise they keep billing ya.

Villag Photos is a photo hosting site. I have been a faithful customer for 7 years and without warning they stopped allowing me to upload photos, although I still have more than 75% of my registered space available. They continue to take out my monthly payments while not responding to my emails to fix the problem with my account. I have emailed them over a dozen times without response but when my payment date comes each month, they take the payment immediately. Reprehensible. At this point I have no choice but to cancel my account with them, and find a better picture host.
