Bait and switch scam
July 8, 2021

I joined the website to try it out. Shortly after I met the girl named Daria (Darya) Novikova ID *******. On her profile it says she lives in Brooklyn NY. She claims to be a theater actress who works in plays on Broadway. I liked the idea that she was already in the U.S. which meant I didn't have to travel halfway around the world when the time came for us to meet. We chatted for 4 days, and these chats were getting rather expensive. I was chatting and exchanging photos only with her, and I was spending upwards of $400 a day. She was very happy about this, and in a couple of days she professed her love to me. I got curios about her theater work, and when I asked what play she was doing, at first she was reluctant to say, and then gave me a name of a Broadway play. I checked the cast online and her name was no where to be found. I confronted her, and she admitted to lying, because she really worked at a community theater, and was ashamed; she wouldn't give me the name. After I insisted on the name, she said that she was not going to any theater, because she was rehearsing for a role from her home. She said she was born Moscow, Russia and was here on an exchange with a theater company since January 2021, and had not left the U.S. since she arrived. More and more inconsistencies kept popping up, until I decided to search for her on Social Media. It took little time and effort to find her, because she is actually a play performer, but to my surprise, she is currently in Russia. She has on Instagram, VK and YouTube, photos and videos of some of her performances with dates and theater names. She had photos Posted in Saint Petersburg Russia as recent as 4 days ago. I confronted her with this evidence and she would not admit it. She claimed that it was her manager, not her, who posted that content on social media, to which I pointed out, that if she is in a video in a theater in Moscow for a play that took place between February and May 2021, then she couldn't have been here in the U.S. at the same time. She then became irate and accused me of spying on her. I told her that all her social media content is publicly and available for the world to see. After a short argument and a few insults from her I blocked her and reported her to customer service. I provided all the evidence I had gathered and the screenshots from our chats, and sent it to customer service. Two days later, this guy named "Kyle" (yeah sure) wrote back to me and said that according to their records the lady is in Brooklyn, and if I had any evidence to the contrary I should have sent it. I told Kyle, that had sent incontrovertible evidence, but apparently they oversaw it or lost it although it was still attached to his reply. I sent everything again, and this time Kyle told me that they believe the lady more than what is posted on Instagram and VK, because her local agency had vouched for her. At that point I knew that customer service was part of the scam. The takeaway is: don't join any of these pay per letter dating websites. VictoriaBrides has 19 other affiliates where all these fake profiles are kept. For a man to join another of their websites, he has to register a new profile and pay, and yet the ladies have the same profile across all 20 websites. It is a well thought money making scam from every angle you look at it. There is nothing that can be considered legitimate about these people's business practices and/or modus operandi.

Tip for consumers:

Stay away from any of these places

Tired of lies
December 18, 2020

Many times I visited the site over the years. Too tempting, nice looking woman wanting to chat. Recently I notice a fair amount of them stating in their profiles they are living in the USA. So I chatted several ladies up. Casual conversation so i could lead up to some specific questions about their location. None could provide a zip code, a street name, a school, or a landmark. In some cases they used the excuse that they are currently in quarantine Covid-19 joins Cupid LOL. Some history, I've played around on this site on and off for over four years. I enjoyed the fantasy at times. It's so easy open the web page pick out one that appeals to you and hit chat button you are on your way! Or are you? After sometime speaking with one lady at least 8 months and several hundred dollars on chat fees. We found a way to circumvent the site personal contact rules. This was a good thing because my expenses were cut in half. Well things went along well for awhile then I noticed too many inconsistencies in her conversation. Truth be told there was always little things I noticed. I decided I would hire a local agency (detective) to do a little work for me. I mean I already knew I was going to find some stuff on this girl. Turns out some things were true and most were not. Armed with my info I decided to set some verbal traps as we communicate. I even sent some small money gifts via western Union in order to ensure I had the correct name so that my detective could increase my accuracy. After cornering the girl with several lies of course a complete exposure followed. By now I had her full name address, parents, grandparents etc etc etc, even her boyfriends info. Too much for her to handle in fact. So the melt down! And then to my surprise the story! After several weeks she wrote me a letter asking what I wanted to leave her alone, my money back, what? I said I want the truth! She explained to me how the site operates. The short of it is you not going to find a bride but you will get rid of that extra cash that's the real truth. Most if not all the women get a free photo session glamour makeup and outfits in well lit settings. These women don't look like this in real life. Some get not only top shelf make up but photo shop and various enhancing done to photos, if you look close enough you can see it. Now the women can just go home with copies for their personal use or they can operate a profile talking to men for pay,, pennies on the dollar maybe make $100-300 a month doing so which means handling several conversation at peak operating times. Ever notice how long it takes them to respond to you question in chat. The ones that don't opt for this employment go home but their photos are use to set up a profile that an operator for the site runs. Might be a guy you are talking to in some cases. As far as what happens after this level, meeting these women I haven't been sucked into that level of scam. Oh yeah the promise of purchasing contact info the site, the best scam. All you will get is a gmail account. I've gotten three. All of these women operated their own profiles all of them caught in one lie or another two of which I hired a detective to support my suspicions. The other women had her profile on two different sites and once I had her gmail she became distant and frankly cold in our conversations. I could see her communicating on both sites while talking to me via hangouts on gmail. When I confronted her with this she lied and I caught her with phony profiles of my own, did a little copy cut and pasted to gmail,, of course she reprimanded me and cut off communication. In summary if you want to have a sometimes fun and always expensive fantasy then be my guest. The girls or operators sometimes will get mildly frisky at best, some soft porn pics at best will cost you but they are out there. Otherwise it's total bull$#*! site and way too expensive. On a positive note I've always have had good experiences with customer service as long as you don't mind them throwing credits at you to make you happy to play the game some more. Enjoy!

WHISTLE BLOWER REVEALS VB IS A COMPLETE SCAM!
August 23, 2019

So I wrote to VB. I was lonely and rich. And I LOVE Slavic women! I talked to this lady, and that lady. One was especially attractive, and more than just physically. Daria #******* Very bright. Sophisticated. Very sexy, but so much more than just sexy. I saw pictures of her son, her office. So I decided to pay 3000 credits ($600) to connect with her via my hotmail account. She "didn't understand Victoria Bride's instructions" and so missed some connection, and then I bought more credits, and yadda yadda yadda. I asked her to go to Mexico with me. She was great! And after we wrote a couple times via email, she was missing in action. I thought WTF! Then I changed email accounts, wrote to another lady and then I got what was obviously mass text from Daria. Generic. Not something you would send to a guy who was going to take you to Cozumel. I wrote back. Somehow this was my fault. So And just to be a piss-ant, I went over my finances: IRA, income, mutual funds, my houses. My boat. And suddenly she was ALL OVER ME! She wrote a dozen times a day! So many emoji hearts!. I told her not to demean herself. I found another lady. Pretty much the same story, but now she gave me a cell number. And after maybe a week, I get this letter from a Mr. Singh (see photo below), who told me that I was actually writing to him! He had been hired by a "bunch of sick Russian guys" and he was disgusted by the whole thing. He sent me internal documents telling me the truth! The photos are models, and not the people writing. Each writer gets 1 credit/text, and 5 credits/sticker, and 25 credits/video. And each writer gets $1/45 credits. He had had to sign an NDA but was going to move back to New Delhi and was fairly certain that he couldn't be traced. Please note: he was "fairly certain". This guy was so sick of the whole scam that he wrote me IN SPITE OF THE POSSIBLE RISKS TO HIMSELF! A true whistle blower. So. Save yourself some money. Try YouPorn, or PornHub, or XVideos. Free porn. A whole bunch cheaper than VB and just as real.

Victoria Scams!
May 15, 2019

This in part of a sophisticated international scam that is designed to lift money from your bank account. 'Victoria Brides'' is effectively the same as 'Victoria Hearts;' 'Charmerly;' 'Anastasia;' 'Match Truly;' 'Love Swans;' 'Ukrainian Charms' and 'Valentime.' There is no competition between them, they are all part of the same sad syndicate. There are a growing number of these sites. It is a billion $ industry. Incredibly beautiful and sexy girls who are way out of your age range (and actual chance to develop a relationship with) appear to want you; whatever you say, or do or are. Take 'Ekaterina' member ******* on all the web sites mentioned above. She is really Katerina Milevskaya, fashion and glamour model, aged 23 from Kiev/Moscow. On Instagram she is 'milevskate' There she has 457k followers. It is most unlikely 'she' is on-line on all these sites 24/7 (as she appears to be)! Instead, 'agents' (men and women) take commission working shifts writing for the profile. They mercilessly encourage you to look at videos, each costing 50 credits (most are available free on her Instagram); write a mail; cost 30 credits, view photos in a mail; cost 10 credits (most again are available on her Instagram) as well as sending astronomically priced gifts (charged through credits). I sent a gift, and received a photo of the gift, but pictured with it was an entirely different girl! Customer support response; "Girl look terrible without make-upI" I only did that the once! Direct questions are rarely, if ever responded to. The girls are implicated as only some of the photos and videos are on Instagram. When you have spent 3000 credits sites promise that you can ask for contact details. When you receive the details, they don't work! The girls are most usually Ukrainian (on the sites listed above), but there are also similarly syndicated sites of women from other areas of the world run by the same outfit, based in Cyprus, registered in America and your cash for credits is processed in the UK. The scams appear an acceptable part of regular (irregular) business practices. Where ever the money goes (it's a world wide scam) who knows! Frustratingly no one seems able or want to address the sophisticated deceits with the crooks responsible! AVIOD ALTOGETHER!

Fake and scam
April 27, 2019

This site is fake, and they charge for everything. Don't use this site, Ukraine charms, Victoria hearts, Asian Charms, Or Romantic tales. Men will pay to talk to women that will contact you first all of them act desperate and try to convince you they are serious about finding a relationship. Then it doesn't matter how long you talk to the women or if you even come to Ukraine or Russia to meet the women, they will make every excuse they cannot meet you. Talk a year, talk 2 years, talk 8 months, talk 6 months and it is never enough for the fake women and this site to let you meet. I spent over ******* usd on this site and over a year and a half talking to women, I came to Kiev in July 2018 to meet just to get played on my birthday by a women that didn't actually want to meet and never showed up. I helped another girl start a business and she has not even tried to see me in the 2 months I have been in Kiev this time, I have scheduled through the site 6 dates since I've been in Kiev this time and all of them have canceled. These women are going out of their way to attract men, they are some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen and all of them act like they are desperate to keep your attention. The site makes thousands off just one man and millions off the rest of us idiots that actually believed there was someone out there for us. These girls will not meet you and will act like it's too soon no matter how long you talk and all of them talk like even when you meet and have spent your entire savings on this site and have gone broke on multiple occasions trying to find someone here that you should still pay for everything else also. I literally had one date through all of this, and she brought a translator and I was made to pay for that after everything else I've lost. Then She tells me she wants to meet the next day, the next day comes and she cancels, then said she had a great time on the date but she cant see me on the weekend either, and continued to make excuses.
Yes, for anyone reading this I don't need you to tell me anymore, I am very much aware that I am pathetic and not worth anything. I know a lot of you will say we should never give up but I say you are stupid, I quit, having a family and being a dad was my biggest dream and now I just want to stop. I quit and give up and I honestly don't give a S*** about having a family anymore. My purpose in life is about helping people and I think my time should be spent on that instead of wasting my time actually having hope that one day I will actually matter. So, keep your $#*! opinions to yourself about not giving up because there is not someone out there for everyone. Some of us are just not good enough.
So If you want to waste thousands of your money talking to women that are only playing and helping this site steal your money then, by all means, have fun, but if you want to speak to actual women looking for a relationship use Unrainedate.com. The women there are harder to impress, but at least they are real.

How about one word scam.
November 2, 2018

Got this from another site guy's be aware stay away. Big scam been scammed out of over $6500 USA hard earned dollars.
Here is VictoriaBride and VictoriaHeart crimes... I meet in Ukraine with Prosecutors in 4 Oblasts over 4 days to provide materials, affidavits and witnesses. Via affidavits obtained the women are paid to get you to burn up credits. They want you to post photos, buy double priced gifts, watch videos, etc. Meetings can be but often they will not show up to make excuses for a month. Ukraine prosecutors are looking into the scam and fraud here. Few females are real and validated by a simple check with the Ukraine Security Police or local Oblast Police. Shift work is the norm and the "entitity" Messaging to you can be textbot or Ivan. They claim via their "Mediation Team" that all are real and validated. The e-mail address TraceCheck was at a MAC or IP address that proved many disingenuous and a fraud. Cupability to crimes of monetary and identity fraud are rampant in Ukraine scam of Marriage Agency. Three female ex-members provided sworn affidavits of men and women or an AI Software answering as or pretending to be the profiled woman that the man is spending money to text or talk to. Stop just complaining and help stop them!
September 21, 2018

If you have been ripped off like me, spent large amounts of money there because you are a trusting, persistent and optimist person, help stop them and sites like them. Most men that are lonely wanting a wife would try these sites as they make you believe there are thousands of pretty young seriously interested in marriage of older men.

I could write a book on all the many scams and lies they told me, and many of the methods they use. The problem is, how will that help all the thousands of men already ripped off for millions of dollars and help prevent future men from going there. We must stop them and more, take back all the money they stolid, have them charged and shut down and severely prosecute all men and women involved, even those just offering there pictures for them to use, with jail time.

How can act? Start with getting together and building a plan of how to do this, I am sure many of you have good ideas on how to do this, I will try and suggest a few. Keep in mind these companies have huge amounts of money to fight back and will employ such techniques as writing the fake highly positive profiles that are here.

International law suits against them, use of private investigators, government cooperation, new laws, public awareness are just a few things we could do.This will require time and some minimal money to move forward. To be honest we need a real external auditor(s) to verify our funds are used for the purpose intended, to prove this is a legitimate action as these companies will condemn this and attack it.

I think you understand what I am saying. Collectively we can stop this permanently.

The sad thing is people out outside these companies see the money to be made and are starting to visit legitimate sites and apply scams like asking to money to come to you, or for help for some fabricated reason. Once they get to give them a little they know they keep get more and bigger amounts from you. Stop it before it starts. Some governments publish on their sites that the Ukraine, the most well known for this, will attempt crimes of opportunity. This not a secret but nobody acts.

So here is little of my experience. I join at a high price but I believe they have the most, most beautiful women that want to marry me. Every time I visit I feel great because they constantly give you complements, gorgeous women want to talk to me and being a bit lonely welcome this. Many tell you they love you the second or third time they chat with you. They try to say very little so you keep talking, sending pictures, use letters and view pictures in letters, watch videos all that cost extra credits (money). They ask you to buy them flowers (very expensive there), chocolates, fruit baskets and expensive perfume, mobile phones, computer and other items they do not allow you to send directly but must buy them at highly inflated prices.

They have a complex set of rules that allow them to charge you credits constantly. When I asked for proof even one women of thousands that have actually left and married a foreigner, some happy customer that would easily allow there name to be used like many other sites, they could not provide even one. There should be hundreds by now if legitimate . They will say it is a security issue but how can it be if the man allows it. I asked this of their online support , the only way they did allow you to contact them. I see now from all the complaints they have provided useless contact information online.

When you try to leave for the day the women try different methods to draw you back. When I asked them to close my account as I told them I could not stop and it was costing me too much, they offered me some free credits if I stayed. This is like giving an addicted gambler free chips to stay. The usual everyone else experiences, thousands of women pursue you over time. I paid for 6 different women's contact information when it used to cost much less. All send they would use email with me instead of the site if I did this. Not one would email me after.

There was one lady that offered to leave for me, saying she understood it was a rip off and she would use an external chat and email. I knew her a year. She said she was in love and wanted to come to me and said she had no money as they are all poor there she said. I was stupid enough to believe her lies. She had to buy a visa through an agency to ensure she got the visa at ten times the usual price. She need living and moving expenses till she came. She said she needed $10,00 to show Canada immigration officers to prove she could support herself while in Canada for 6 months to visit. I tried to call a few times to Canada immigration and their out sourced partner and they said it was possible but they did not know as no amount was specifically specified for visitors. It would randomly be determined by the officers attitude the day the pass through.

Okay I was stupid because I actually cared and sent her $14,000 in total. She then said her bank took it to pay her student loans and she lost it. When she left VictoriaBrides she told me they put an imposture in her place when she left to continue to generate money from her profile. Other women there told me many things about the company's scams, always saying they were the exception. There is a lot more that happened but I think you understand some of what they and their women do. I really hope we can stop them and help other from being emotionally damaged and their money taken. This is fraud, they are thieves and everyone is letting them get away with it. When will we fight back?

This is for Victoria Brides
July 2, 2018

Hi Monica,

Nobody likes being ripped off. Especially me. And Victoria Brides has been ripping men off for a long time. Those another men do not concern me. I simply stated, I want Victoria Brides to give back all the money I spend on their site. For making me look like a fool. Monica, I'm no fool. Unfortunately, I fell in love with Ludmila. But, not anymore. Because Victoria Brides uses translators and computer generated messages to deceive men. To thinking they are talking to the women in the photos. When we all know these women do not speak English. Maybe a hand full, if even that. Right now, I am probable emailing a computer. Please keep your credits, because I do not want to speak to a translator or computer.

Ludmila Epifanova does not exist in Kiev, Ukraine. This is what my research has shown. And she may not even be a lawyer, for all I know. In all the videos I have seen of Ludmila, she never speaks. Guess what, she does not speak English. One day, very soon I will go to Kiev and meet Ludmila. If that is her real name. I will find her whether she likes it or not. And ask her why she thinks it is such a good idea to deceive men like me. She is dishonest and not a good person for doing something so very bad. I asked Ludmila several times to talk to me on Skype or the phone. And she told me (if it was her) that administration at VB would not allow this. I remember she would send me letters maybe two or three sentences long and than all the sudden she would write these amazing letters with words I have never heard of. I did think it was a little odd that her English got so good so quickly. And then she send a letter that other woman send, it was the same letter, word for word. You better tell your translators or program your computer not to send the same letters to the same man. It will just piss him the $#*! off, like it did me.

So back to Ludmila. I know she is a real woman. But, does she really live in Kiev? Is she really a lawyer? And if she is a real lawyer, what is the law firm that she works at? Address and phone number, please. I'm asking nicely. I know it is not possible that Ludmila loves me. Because she is on the VB website all the time. And lawyer works 50 to 60 hours a week. She also said she was coming to Guam to visit me. But, we all know this is not possible, because I would have to sponsor her to the US. Because Ukrainian citizens are not allowed to come to a US Territory, like Guam. I told her or maybe a translator (probable a translator) I would come to Kiev. And Ludmila or I'm sure the translator said, no I am coming to Guam to be with you. BS, right?

Monica, the Victoria Brides website is what as known as a "SCAM OF A WEBSITE". Sucking out as much money as they can out of as many men as they can. Some of things that VB does to make money is down right criminal and you all should be throw in jail. I changed my profile to a picture of my $#*!, to the ugliest dog in the world and many other disturbing things. I wrote I was 4' 11" and weighed 450 pounds. I wrote I lived in the street, begged for money and I was gay. And women still wanted to talk to me. How is that possible? HMMMMM. It is because this is an international dating website, you $#*!ers can get away with it. Because you are not regulated. This is true. Don't you agree?

I decided yesterday to let this whole thing go with Victoria Brides. Because life is too short. To be so $#*!ing pissed off. But sense you emailed me. It is on, again. I guess the people responsible for VB, must like me for some reason. I guess you guys are trained very well to take a lot of $#*! and turn it into dollar signs. Am I right or my I right?

It would be in Victoria Brides best interest to give back all my the money I spend on Victoria Brides website. And I will go away, quietly. Because, if you do not, hahah IT IS GOING TO GET VERY UGLY FOR VICTORIA BRIDES. Ludmila, Victoria Brides or the translators I was chatting with, remember this, "THIS I VOW". I will come for all the people responsible and I will make them all pay.

For screwing with the worst person you could ever screwed with. ME!

I guess when Victoria Brides did their back ground check on me, they missed a little something.
