The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I bought invalid tickets and lost the Beyoncé concert!
No contact number Anywhere.
I've just lost the concert I waited the most, a lot of money and a great deal of nerves because of this viagogo site! DO NOT TRUST THEM! (NOT TO MENTION I PAYED 4 TIMES THE RICE OF THE ORIGINAL TICKET!)
They don't have any customer service we could reach.
I was told explicitly by a ticket master representative NOT TO TRUST VIAGOGO
I just hope they will get my money back.
They ruined my intire trip!
PROCEED WITH CAUTION when dealing with Viagogo! Read all the small print as they believe they are under no obligation to provide you with the complete original ticket package that you may have assumed you paid for... and you have no recourse once you pay. Read and understand ALL fine print or move to another supplier.
Viagogo (along with Get Me In and Stub Hub) are NOT the people setting the price of the tickets - the prices are set by the PEOPLE SELLING THE TICKETS! Viagogo then takes a commission payment from the seller. So... listen carefully one more time... these sites are RESALE SITES. They allow people to RESELL their tickets at inflated prices, and they then take a percentage payment from the SELLER as commission. Please stop blaming these sites for the prices you're paying - they are very transparent about the service they provide, even (in the case of Viagogo anyway) letting you know the face value of the tickets. Actual example text from Viagogo site... "Prices are set by sellers and may be lower or higher than face value. Prices exclude booking and delivery fees (applicable by transaction). Original face value price per ticket (excluding fees): 35.00 - 85.00 GBP"
Viagogo cancel sales after the event has occurred, then charge the seller a large admin fee instead of paying the money they are owed for tickets. Thus, it actually costs money to use them. They are fraudsters.
Don't buy from this lot. Its a complete rip off. The amount you pay isn't fully displayed until you purchase. You are pressured into buying by getting messages saying only so many tickets left. I ended up going to the official vendor afterwards and their was still tickets left. The only way of getting a refund is through reselling your ticket and they take a percentage of that as well. Will never use this site again. Save yourself the grief and don't use them.
I purchased tickets for an event abroad which was all good, other than all the additional fees.
A few weeks before the event is due to take place, I received an email to say the event has been rescheduled, meaning that I can no longer attend as it is in another country and flights etc had already been paid.
Even after explaining this to viagogo, they refuse to refund my money.
But they do however say that I can resell then through their website, except for a considerable amount of money less than which I paid, and not only that, but after all the additional charges of me purchasing the tickets, they also have additional charges for me reselling the ticket!
This is definitely one website that I will never consider using again, and I will also be diverting all friends and family from using them as well
WATCH OUT - Viagogo sells tickets right up until the event/game starts even though they do not hold the tickets at the event site. I purchased tickets 20 minutes before a football game started and had assumed tickets were at the ground (site would not confirm location before purchase) only to find that the ticket location was 30 minutes from ground so did not get there in time to collect tickets and they WOULD NOT issue a refund.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THESE GUYS.
PLEASE DON'T USE FIRST AND LAST TIME I WOULD EVER USE VIAGOGO COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF I TRIED TO ORDER ONE TICKET AT A PRICE OF £109 THERE WEBSITE TOLD ME MY TRANSACTION WAS UNSUCCESSFUL SO TRIED AGAIN THIS TIME SENT ME CONFIRMATION SAYING SUCCESSFUL ONLY TO FIND I HAVE NOW PAID A TOTAL OF £218 FOR TWO TICKETS AFTER TELLING THEM I ONLY WANTED ONE TICKET AND IT WAS THERE SYSTEM THAT HAD FAILED THEY TOLD ME I CANNOT HAVE REFUND FOR 2ND TICKET SO TO TOP IT ALL TICKET MASTER ARE CHARGING £51 FOR SAME TICKET
Please do not ever use this site. I purchased 4 tickets for me, my husband and 2 children to Real madrid vs Malaga. The tickets were sold as Premium 1 row 1 and cost £825. Luckily I emailed the offical Real Madrid site on Sunday to ask about mascot packages. I told them about what tickets I had and they emailed me straight back to inform me that no such tickets existed and the tickets wasn't even on sale yet! I emailed them my confirmation and they confirmed it was counterfeit, they also said that Viagogo had no authorisation to sell there ticket. Thankfully I found out, contacted paypal and they've issued me a full refund. If I hadn't of emailed I would of flew my family from England to Madrid and been refused entry on the gate. Visiting Real Madrid is my sons dream and it sickens me that people would do this and also that Viagogo would allow people to sell on their site without checking validity of the tickets!
I just realise Viagogo have ripped me off to the tune of about $200 AUS for two tickets to a Bill Bailey concert in Canberra Australia. I could have bought the same two tickets via Ticketek Australia for a cheaper price and a much, much lower service fee. They whacked me with a $55 'service fee' for each ticket plus a $7 delivery fee per ticket.
I've can only sell (not redeem) the tickets. I've asked them how they can justify this pricing? I don't expect an answer. Avoid them if possible.
Unfortunately I got caught using this site in the UK. I have purchased tkts for the O2 ATP Tennis every year directly from the O2.
This year despite trying to book early seating I required all gone.So I contacted Viagogo a ticket cost £43 Then add booking fee for the 2 tkts total £116. When I downloaded tks had another name on the stub with a price of £24.
NO CONTACT PHONE NO WHEN I SOURCED AND PHONED YOU SPEAK TO NO ONE IT DID NOT RECOGNIZE MY A/C & I WAS CUT OFF A BUNCH OF CROOKS
I just got robbed blind by these people - charged 3 times the price of a concert ticket. They made their site look like the venues.
I'm going to complain to Fair Trading and report them as frauds.\
DO NOT USE - KEEP AWAY.
Do not use this company, they overcharge by huge amounts, and make complaining to them directly a very difficult thing to do, there is a clear reason company's do this, they know they are wrong.
Viagogo clearly states in terms and conditions that they are a ticketmarketing company. The sellers set the price. You are told how much delivery charge and VAT is added. They are the safest place to buy tickets that have already sold out
Viagogo cancelled my sale after I mailed out my tickets to the buyer AND they're charging me extra. This website is a scam for both buyers & sellers. Stay away!
Husband bought Dynamo tickets as a surprise! Absolutely ripped off charged him $478.00 for 2 x $79.90 tickets in the worse seating... Bad Form Viagogo more like Via dont go! Stay away from this $#*!e site!
I surprised my little brother with platnium tickets to the Bledisloe cup in Sydney tonight, for his Birthday; he was so excited!
Then i get a call from the stadium to say the ticket was fake! And that there had been over 100 people also denied entry left standing outside with tickets purchased off Viagogo.
My brother was crushed!
I ended up re booking just in time with Ticketek, But i am so angry. VIAGOGO you low lifes! Thanks for nearly spoiling his night!
Hello,
On 23 june 2016 i selled tickets for Wales vs Belgium - Quarter Finals - UEFA Euro 2016. Since they couldn' t print label i had to send tickets on my money and costs 56 euro which they confirmed in written form will refund to me. Since then 3 months has passed and i did not see my money back! They are fraud and liars, i have sent countless emails and spoke to them many times but nothing happened.
2 days back they took 40 euro from my account i don t know why. I have to find out it s incredible. But they don't answer any mail or call anymore. Please advice.
Please stay away from them.
Regards,
Gabriel.
I was trying to sell the tickets to the show I could not attend by a face value price. After I advertised the tickets I didn't have any option to modify or cancel my listing. It happened that my tickets got sold privately and I still couldn't do anything with my listing. The next morning I got an email from viagogo that my tickets got provisionally sold. At that point I was emailing them and trying to call but the system didn't let me through! I couldn't do anything to cancel the listing! And now I'm charged for not providing the tickets! There is no way to speak to a real person in this horrible company!
Never again!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
