The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

DONOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM VIAGOGO!!!
This is how one of their scams work.
They will send you tickets to a show in another city that is far away. You will complain, and they will send a courier to pick up the tickets. DO NOT GIVE YOUR TICKETS TO THE COURIER. If you do give up your tickets, they will issue you and E-ticket, which they have already sold 50 times. The person that sold me tickets was operating under a stolen identity. Initiate a reverse charge from your bank and police report THEN they will refund you. AVOID VIAGOGO. CON ARTISTS. CRIMINALS
They took my money and didn't deliver. Unless you count heartbreak and disappointment. To be fair not all of this is their fault. Pink had to postpone our show for over a year and the email account i used to order the tickets was taken down after i lost my job.
When i reached out to customer service two months before the show to resolve the issue I was repeatedly told that the tickets would be delivered without a problem. The closer to the rescheduled date the more nervous i became. They continued to reassure me that the problem would be resolved.
Until the day before the show when i was finally told that there was no way for them to resolve the issue and that i was out of my money and the tickets.
When I demanded a refund I was told that was not going to happen and the call was disconnected.
Please do not trust Viagogo. They are nothing but liars and thieves.
While on Ticket Masters buying tickets for the Celline Dion Show on Jan 15 2020 I evidently got hacked or there was a pop up that I was NOT aware of. After entering my credit card an selecting complete purchase was I made aware that my purchase went
Thru VIAGOGO.com. My purchase was for $390.00 but my cc was charged $480.00.
Only after I selected make purchase did I receive an e-mail stating that there are no
Refunds. I was forced into a purchase that I had no intentions of dealing with VIAGOGO By the
Way the real tickets are only $125.00 each and I was charged $480.00
Back in 2017, my mum bought tickets for her and myself to go see Harry Styles live in Munich. When you go onto the site it tells you 'this many people are viewing this event' as well as 'this many amounts of tickets are left' to try and pressure you into buying quickly. My mum ended up buying two tickets for the sum of 200 euros (223,27 dollars) each, which is rather expensive and as a massive Harry Styles fan I found that weird for him to be charging that much knowing that One Direction concerts my friends had been to never costed that much. Nevertheless, we bought them in June of 2017 and received them in January of 2018. The concert was in March 2018 so it didn't really matter. What did matter, however, was the fact that on the tickets the price of the seat we had ordered was printed on, and instead of costing 200 euros (223.27 dollars), they ended up costing 61.15 euros (68.26 dollars). My mum basically paid 138.85 more for each ticket then meant. When we tried to contact them they just didn't respond and ended up blocking my mother from their Facebook page and so on.
DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!
We are traveling to Italy and bought soccer tickets months ago for a game in Rome. The match DATE was change, not just the time on the original day, the entire date. Viagogo states they do not offer refunds unless the matches are cancelled and said I could re-sell. Well then I get a notification that I am unable to have them live on the site because Viagogo wouldn't have enough time to transfer and ELECTRONIC ticket to a new buyer.
Would NEVER use them. Buyer beware with this company.
I ordered and paid for 2 tickets to Michael Buble for July, 2019. They have not sent them to me. I have contacted them, they keep saying "We are reviewing, you will have them within 24 hours." Nothing, I am cancelling my credit card payment! DON'T EVER PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM PLACE!
Beware! I bought tickets from ViaGogo. They sent me a confirming email with a link to download tickets. Unfortunately, the tickets were not tickets. They were simply screenshots of the actual tickets on the ticketholders phone. I immediately contacted ViaGogo and they insisted the tickets were legitimate. Then I contacted the venue and the venue confirmed that the "tickets" that I bought from Viagogo were fraudulent and they would not honor them. I again contacted ViaGogo and they refused to refund, and insisted that the fraudulent tickets were legitmate. They did tell me if I was turned away at the event they would refund my money.
Knowing I would be turned away and also knowing the tickets were a gift for my wife, I bought real tickets from Stub Hub. The night of the event I tried to use the ViaGogo tickets and was told that #1 they were not in an acceptable format (being a copy of an electronic ticket) and #2 the real ticket holder had already used the actual tickets.
ViaGogo has refused to refund based on the fact that the real tickets were used...
Simple, I purchased tickets for Top Ranked boxing at Madison Square Garden and they sent me a fake ticket. This is a fake company period. If you use you will lose your money. Read the other reviews. You've been warned.
Just received the tickets for the Rammstein Concert in July in Hanover.
When you provide all your information the website is asking for the names, suggesting you get named tickets.
Besides they charge you 6 times the amount of the tickets, which I don't mind. However, the automated answer is that the names are not relevant. Paying a premium is one thing getting screwed is another. I would give 0 stars if possible.
I have already written about my experience. There are so many that not all are read in their entirety. I encourage everyone to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, I did. I talked to someone there on April 8,2019. They don't handle individual complaints but if they receive several they will take action. There is a current pending case that the FTC is involved with in the UK. All you have to do is fill out a form, write your experience and email it to them. One voice may be loud, several will be heard.
I had not purchased tickets online before. I wanted to take my grandchildren to an event in town during their spring break that was scheduled for April 4,2019. March 29,2019 I made the mistake of purchasing tickets from Viagogo. The same day the tickets were emailed to me, but they had someone elses name. I called to let them know about the tickets and to cancel and was told I would have to resell the tickets. I then got the run around about only being able to sell up to 4 days prior to the event. The following day I found out that the seats numbers assigned to the tickets were invalid. I was told by Viagogo that this would be researched. After the event came and went I was told that I couldn't get a refund since the event had already occurred. After that I was ignored. I encourage everyone of you to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission; I did. If enough of us speak up to the FTC about Viagogo. The Federal Trade Commission will step in. It's easy, you only have to let them know about your experience.
When i went to purchase the tickets, the price stated 100 a piece for standing room floor. When i checked out, the price ended up being 2.5xs that price. They charged 132.00 handling fee PLUS exchange. I checked ticketmaster, the same ticket was 76.00 Canadian. Viagogo's handling charge was almost as expensive as the overpriced tickets. They will not allow youto cancel, only resell them where theyll take another cut.
I was scammed!
There should be a class action lawsuit!
I purchased two concert tickets from Viagogo for March concert in Connecticut. Viagogo provided me with a link to access my tickets for download and printing but the download was software code jibberish. Future attempts at accessing the tickets resulted in a screen stating "Oops those tickets have already been delivered to this email address."
I communicated with Viagogo through 9 e-mails and 7 international phone calls. They had me send multiple screen shots and repeated the same process over and over with same screen statement that did not enable me to access the tickets. This continued until 30 minutes prior to the concert at which point I had other choice then to purchase two tickets at the concert box office. Poor last minute seat locations.
Viagogo refused to refund me for the purchase indicating they had provided the tickets. So I am out the initial purchase as well as the additional box office purchase.
An expensive lesson never to use Viagogo again!
We googled the Monster Truck event and were directed to Virgogo. As this was from the official site - we were under the impression that this is where we need to book. So we booked 6 seats - and paid R 3300. 00. Yesterday we get the tickets and the cost per ticket from Computicket is only R 150.00 each and with the incorrect seat numbers and the name printed on the tickets are also not for the credit card used. I tried to get hold of Viagogo - but to no avail. They are a bunch of cheats and for sure not honest as we could have purchased through Computicket directly and aved R 2400.
It was hours before the event and still no tickets. So I called the support team and after a bunch of arguing, they eventually agreed to refund me. I immediately went and purchased tickets on Ticketmaster where my tickets were emailed to me automatically, which tells me that Viagogo was lying when they said the theatre hadn't released tickets yet. Its a total scam. I waited it out until a few hours before to realize that "wow, I actually am being scammed". Don't buy from this site, there is absolutely no guarantee and most likely you won't be getting your tickets.
It is the biggest disappointment in a while in my personal life. Get the tickets for the Revivalist concert on November 2018 and the concert was on April 6th. I want to surprise my girlfriend when we get there my tickets was value 218.00 for both, second row, very close and guess what the ticket had the value of 45.00 dollars and you have to bring your own chair and a blanket, my seat was in the back way back. We just left the scene and return back home, so frustated. After I learn all the songs and waiting for so long. Completely a rip off.
I bought tickets for a game that was moved to a different date, when I could not attend. They indicated that I could resell the tickets. I paid U$ 460.00, including fees. Then they immediately emailed me and told me that the tickets were sold for $300.00. After the event took place, they told me that such sale was cancelled and I would not get any money. How the sell could be cancelled when you have to pay up front for tickets, and you get no chance for cancel and get reimbursed? SCAM!
I bought a ticket to *******@acffiorentina on 28April *******@viagogo. Match was changed to 29April, and I can't go. #Fiorentina won't allow me to sell the seat *******@viagogo won't refund the price.
#viagogosucks #neveragain
Deceived, lied, fake tickets.
BEWARE" I wasted my time and money. 24/7 another lie. Fraud! DO NOT USE VIAGOGO!
AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I went to purchase tickets to a Real Madrid game. There was NO indication of a $15 transaction fee until after my credit card was processed and the order was confirmed. I called customer support immediately to try to get a refund because I did not consent to this transaction fee. They refused a refund and told me my only option was to try and resell on their platform, which charges a seller fee, requiring me to increase the price of each ticket. With this price increase I will not only struggle to find a buyer, but Viagogo will make even more money off of the only transaction option they have given me.
It is absurd that they do not give an accurate order summary with a price breakdown and I will NEVER use their services again.
I bought tickets, only to find out three days before the concert that they were going to cancel them and not find replacements.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
