I've ordered several items from this company. Their return process is easy for full refunds. In addition if you need to speak with a live person, you can. Unlike other online companies. Also I wanted to add, they do let you order tops & bottoms separately, unlike other online companies. You can order the bikini tops in bra sizes which helps too! And they are always happy to accommodate their customers

I always purchase a size 14 in a swim suit. This one fit like a 12 and was very flimsy. The fact I paid over $120 Canadian and waited over 3 weeks for this suit was disappointing. Now I find out I have to make a trip to the post office and purchase a return label. I will also end up paying for shipping costs. I'm expecting the service will be slow and it will be weeks before the cost of the suit is returned to my credit card. Not a good company for Canadian buyers.

Pros:
Good pricing when there is a sale or items that you want on clearance, which I lucky enough to find 4 items that I wanted
If you exchange by phone, shipping is free for the new item but you will still have to pay for the return/exchange shipping
Customer service was very pleasant when I called and they were very happy to help me out and answer my questions.
I ordered shape wear, skirt, and 2 swimsuit tops and all have been pretty good quality for the price I paid (but as I mentioned they were on clearance/sale).
I loved the Roxanne push up Swimsuit top because it helped shape while also providing a bit of lift so I don't look totally flat!
I also was satisfied with the Fringe Skirt I ordered although it is a little too long but nothing a little rolling up can't fix.
Shipping is quick they have a 7 business day guarantee! Without an extra charge of any kind and I thought it was reasonably priced at about $8.
Cons:
Charge for return shipping if not by phone
No way to filter selections (ie. Price from low to high, colors etc.), just scroll through the many options that they have available, and it might not even be in your size!
All of the items I ordered are delicate or hand wash only

I have ordered many things with no problem since my twenties i have loved them ordered a bikini and romper suit which still fits me by the way and that was thirty years ago and i am 56 now.the last jumpsuit I ordered around Christmas was for work and it is what i expected, little long but I wish they had petites because I am only 5'3'.

First time order here. I expected some mishaps with online ordering but this one was mostly OK. I ordered 5 items: 1 for myself and 4 for my daughter. I liked my item( final sale and deeply discounted but acceptable), my daughters' items were very wrinkled which I know how to fix but one final sale item labeled XS was immensely huge( it fit my medium frame), unfortunately, cannot return this one. This is disappointing but everything could have been worse.

Tip for consumers:
Beware of final sale items. Mine was not true size.

So I've been ordering from Venus for a while. I think in the past two years I've only returned two items. The most recent item I purchased a few weeks ago I had to return because the dress with practically see-through. I went on the site to leave a review but no where on the site can you leave one. I went on the live chat and the employee told me that only selected people are chosen to leave a review, and are emailed when they are chosen. To me, that is shady and a way to cover up poor quality. Otherwise, I've never had a problem with returns, shipping, etc. This just seemed very odd to me.

I was very hesitate about buying a bathing suit on line, especially after reading some reviews. I am about 5'5 and average to petite build-my order fit me to a T. My order included 3 bathing suits and two cute dresses. Purchased everything in a size small. ( bikini tops 34B) The quality was decent and the product came exactly what was advertised. The only down side was the border fees which were about $30. Given all of my purchases were $20.00 or less, I didn't mind the additional fees.-I still got a good deal. If you are paying regular prices, it might not make sense to buy anything given the extra charges you will incur...

Venus is great they just have to work on their shipping. It takes weeks before you get your shipment. If your in a hurry to receive clothes you can forget it. I don't understand I order from London England and get my shipment in next couple of days. I am from Toronto and it takes 2 business days from london england and Venus shipping is a joke

I was charged $7.00 for a return fee AND charged the difference for shipping on refund since I got "free shipping" for buying more than $75.

In addition, if you qualified for free ground shipping on orders $75.00 or more and return items that reduce the total below $75.00, you can be charged shipping as per the promotion guidelines. However, this charge is actually reimbursed to you in the form of an e-certificate so you may use it on a future purchase. On occasion I get an item of clothing that doesn't look much like the photos take this sweater for example. In the photos in the magazine and on the website, when it's on the model it shows it being a very lush furry type of sweater. Unfortunately mine looks like a hairless dog with a few little straight fur things sticking out of it. I still love the sweater but I'm just pointing this out. Also I noticed I have to order three hole sizes bigger when I buy closed-toed shoes. I just ordered a pair of booties in size 10 when I'm an 8 and 1/2 and they're still too small. With all that being said this is still the only store besides etsy that I buy clothes from. I will continue.

So I ordered two IN STOCK items - only one was shipped to me. They other was simply left out. It was not backordered nor was it being sent separately, I ordered on a Sunday or Monday and it showed on a Friday. I called to complain about my missing item (which was the more expensive of the two items BTW) and they re-shipped it and I had it by Tuesday. One outfit I had really wanted to wear on the Sunday and luckily that was the one that did show up on Friday. The other was for July 4 so at least now I have it. I hope it does not happen again - it makes you wonder if the people packing envelopes are either not paying attention or worse (stealing). I must also add I have had this happen several times over 6 months from OTHER places so it is not just Venus. Venus normally gets the orders right. I hope that if there is some systemic problem that they address the employee(s) doing this. It just sucks placing an order, being told it was delivered, and then either being shorted or getting nothing at all.

I ordered two items I was really looking forward to receiving. With gas prices and the economy in the toilet I have to be careful how much I order, but decided to treat myself to TWO tops. The MORON or THIEF (neither is a good thing to be) packing my order only put ONE of them in there. They left out the most expensive item, but hey, I got a packing slip mentioning both so I guess they get a gold frickin' star. I called to complain and they are now (supposedly) re-shipping my missing $49 item. We shall see. I was so looking forward to these two tops and had places I planned to wear them. Now rewind and I have to wait all over again, because one of their envelope stuffers is either STUPID or is STEALING FROM CUSTOMER'S orders. I could see if I ordered 100 items and they only packed 99, but sheesh, when you only order TWO things and they cannot count to TWO (or worse they steal stuff) then we have a problem. I will see how this works out - I will change my review if they make good on this. If not I will add more reviews and dispute with my credit card. What a waste of my hard earned money, and frankly, time, as I have to WAIT ALL OVER AGAIN for what should have been in the envelope today. Thanks for nothing theives.

I was Leary at first and I admit I've bought a couple of real doozies but once you find your size, and the key is knowing your fabric... this is a great kept fashion secret! You find unusual fashionable clothing! I buy every month and the prices are great! I don't want to wear what everyone else is wearing, they're ahead of the times on some fashion. Bottom line... get to know your fabric and size and service as far as delivery... 5-10 days but you can pay and get sooner! I love this virtual store!

I have purchased Venus Fashions for a VERY long time... the clothes are smart stylish. And reasonably priced... I've only had a couple of items I didn't care for and it was mostly the way they looked on me. I am 5ft 10 in... But not exactly in shape like the Venus models... they make EVERYTHING look amazing. Basically I dress for my body type and they haven't let me down..

I instantly liked the coat when I saw it on line and ordered right away. Although the coat is listed as size 20, the sleeves though are a size 24- too long, too wide and the coat is a size 16. It is snug. But the workmanship on the coat is good. The lining is completely sewn in. It is not "tacked in" at various spots on the coat and the remainder left flapping loose. I received the coat in 4 days. It was promised in 4-7 days. I never dealt with the company before. But I am pleased. Love the color which is unusual for me. I have a steady wardrobe preference of black. I would order again from the company but would pay more attention to the listed dimensions. I wish there were more plus size real business type options; tops, dresses and suits.

It has been over 30 days and still no notification that my return has been received which is ridiculous. I have contacted customer service multiple times only to receive non-helpful emails that it hasn't been processed so they can't help me. If the would only exert a little more energy into their customer service and in resolving the issue instead of being dismissive. I have not had an issue until this and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I love Venus clothes they wash good and Last a long time I do wish they would have plus size models because somethings I want to order items but I don't cause of the skinny models I hesitate to order it. U should have plus size models Females come in all shapes and sizes and your models should show that..

Ordered two bathing suit tops, one bottom, and a romper. Came before the expected shipping date! Everything fit wonderfully. I personally did not like one top once it was on my body but that was my own opinion, the top itself was beautiful. I will be returning it. Venus made it super easy by placing directions and a slip to send back. I will order again! I do wish they had cheeky bathing suit bottoms seeing as they only have moderate coverage.

I've ordered MANYdifferent items from Venus. 8 out of 10 I loved. The others were just sizing mistakes on my part. I have 2 currently sold items in my closet with tags still on that are just TOO big for me that im too lazy to go thru the hassle to return and exchange them not to mention the payment, I'd say my results were pretty darn great considering the chance i ALWAYS take ordering online. Overall very happy with Venus

I still mostly stand by my original review but I have learned something about the product reviews that I feel is important to pass on. Just because you order a product doesn't mean you get to review it. I wanted to leave reviews on the items I received and was told by customer service that I would receive an email with information on how to review ONLY IF I was selected. Yes, they apparently select who can leave reviews. Probably the reason that so many of their products have mostly positive reviews. I wanted to leave information that would be helpful to other buyers like my height, weight and how they fit based on the size I purchased to better help others choose a size. Unfortunately, I haven't been "CHOSEN" for any of the items I have purchased over the last year. It's unfortunate because I'm sure others have great information to give but aren't allowed to.

I ordered a dress for an upcoming wedding and ordered 2 different sizes, XL & 1X because I didn't know which would fit better. My measurements are bust 42, waist 38 & hips 43. The 1X was WAY too big and though the XL fit I wanted to try a Large. I was able to call customer service and the representative sent out the Large with free shipping and my account will be credited once I send back the dresses I chose not to keep. The customer service was excellent and I found the dresses to be of quality. The bottom of the dress was different than shown on their website but that's nothing I can't work with. I wanted to leave a review but I could not locate a tab to do so even though there were reviews for the product listed. I sent an email to the appropriate department but I haven't heard back from them. They have a 90 day return policy and though I haven't sent the dresses back in order to see how they handle the credit I have to say that so far overall I had a very good experience. I do have friends who have ordered swimsuits and sun dresses and have been just a happy with their experience therefore leading me to order.

I ordered from this store 3 separate times and about 8 items overall. Everything fit perfectly and I thought the quality was good. I get compliments each time I wear one of the items. I have not had any bad experience at all and I hope to continue. I did not have to go through the returns process, so I cannot comment on that.

I was stunned to find this site and the poor reviews. First, their swim suits are fantastic and cute! Love their casual dresses, maxi skirts. I buy from them frequently for summertime wear. Some of the 'business-y' attire offered I didn't care for. My only suggestion is they allow customer reviews, which would allow folks to comment on "true to size" or not, or the issue I just had so someone would know to size up. I bought a swimsuit coverup from them and it shrunk. I neglected the "hand wash only" label. My fault -- the first time! I gave it to my niece and ordered another I loved it so much. I tossed it in my sink to wash out the sand, etc., and it shrunk, AGAIN! But that said, Venus is replacing it for free!

I would give them a 5 but tops need to be hand washed and do well if they are hand washed. Clothes fit as described. A little pricey, just wait for the sales. I would recommend Venus for great fashions.
Pictures on here are all from Venus and over a year old, still wears well.

If you're ordering from Canada heads up they will send you an email after you order to pay the duties and taxes which tend to be high so ballpark an additional 30-50 bucks for the products to go through customs based on a 100-150$ order. My advice would be to buy when things are on sale to curb the cost difference (not to mention it's in US dollars so you're taking another hit there. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars. Otherwise ivhave been ordering from them for almost 10 years (tops, dresses, baithing suits) I've never ordered the pants or shoes becuase those are way less easy to gauge sizing on. As a rule of thumb I just don't order those things online. I love the styles for the most part they fit great. The only downside I have is a lot if the tops I find are built for women with long torsos. So a lot of my tops I get from there end up being tunics but that's ok. Now that I know that I usually order them with that in mind knowing I can pair it up with a cute legging and heels. Im 5'5 I have a 3 8D bust a 30 inch waist and a 38 inch hip so I'm an average hourglass shape and I order a size large. But I also read the reviews on each product page to see if it runs small and what other people think about it. Sometimes there's customer photos so it helps. Overall I like the shop. I don't really buy clothing from anywhere else is say 75% of my wardrobe us from here. Kinda hoping the exchange rate adjusts a little so I can buy more stuff becuase right now it's just too damned expensive with the exchange rates :(
