My 20 year old son is shopping for his first car, and we thought we found an ideal candidate at a small car lot about 65 miles from our home. Before driving that far, I thought I would check on the car's history. After pulling up a report from VehicleHistory.com, I was shocked to find out this very clean looking "used car" actually had been tagged with a Salvage Title back in late 2011, and then a Rebuilt Title in early 2012. I don't even think I'd like my son to test drive this big fat Question Mark! THANK YOU VehicleHistory.com!
I checked this website on 10/27, the site only mentioned a charge of $2.00 but then I was charged $14.95. I let it be (big mistake). The report was ok. I got my car. Now a month later I was charged again $14.95! I texted Cody (my account manager) who mentioned Brian (his manager) will handle this issue personally. I got another text from Cody that my account was closed and to expect an email within 1 hour. Still waiting on the refund. Do not fall for the add! Big scam!
I let it run for 30 minutes and it never loaded the history

Not real happy with info. Seems like "nothing was found" on many issues -- apparently doesn't mean there is nothing on that issue, but just not found by this website. Too many areas were left blank unless we wanted to pay more. Upset that we were charged anything when you advertised "FREE".

While the follow-up service was prompt (I promptly received my report directly via email workaround) the site itself never loaded the requested report. Well, never is too harsh. <Do not exit this window or go back. Please be patient as this search may take up to 5 minutes to complete.> I quit after thirty minutes of hold. The email workaround arrived within the five minutes of requesting it from the cool chat feature. Kudos to the support agents, lumps of coal to the programmers and promoters.
The basic report did not include any updates from the past twenty months, so was essentially useless. Definitely not worth the paper that it was not printed on. Could I have received something useful by ordering their higher level report? Judging by their categories, I think not.

Not only did I not get a report, but I found that someone had already used my credit card to set up an account, and when I called customer service, they were no help at all.
I had to call my credit card company and close out that account.
Reluctantly used another card to check on vehicle and was charged for a report that showed nothing.

I paid to find out information about my vehicle and they really didn't tell me anything i thought i would be getting like previous owners, how many times it has been sold... etc. Not impressed.

Took over an hour for detailed title search report and did not identify lien holders name or operators name as I expected. When I went back to the site to check of what is reported, it showed "1 report only $0.19 for the rest of the year". I find that odd as only 2 hours earlier, the fee was a $1.00.

Expected a better report with more detailed information about the vehicle. Not just a bunch of "didn't find any problems". I don't think it even identified the type of vehicle in the report, but it took so long that I may have forgotten that it might have showed it before the report was requested and going through all the steps. As long as I don't get charged any more than I agreed to pay and I get my Amazon.com gift card, I can live with it though. Although, I probably won't use it again. Sorry. Just my two cents.

Advertising says it's free. It's $1.00 and they try to get you to get added vehicle information for 19 cents each. Small amounts by just annoying. Then they try to get you to take a $180 premium option but they do it with a little trickery so you need to be careful what you are agreeing to and they don't make it easy.

Offered no solid info about vehicle. Thought I'd get previous owners as suggested. Also history of car in various states etc. all reports were of the "no record" variety. Who needs that? You should refund my money. Useless report.

I noticed information on here that the dealer did not report so i was very happy to have done this, you can't beat the price let me retract this, they charged me 14.95 when it should have beeen 1.00 trying to find out why as we speak... While I do appreciate the information I do not appreciate the extra charge when I did not sign up for naything and they stated that I did hummmm. I believe I will get a refund in 5-7 days we certainly hope so.

Seems to be a thorough report but difficult to judge unless compared to other (more expensive) websites.
Very disappointed that the supposed $1.00 charge turned into $14.95. Less that clear this was going to happen. On top of that, logging in to the website for account information does not allow for access for an actual account page or the advertised ability to view the report, which raises suspicion that there's something illegitimate going on.
Not sure REQUIRE a paper copy be sent to the purchaser either. Pretty wrong-headed.

The report was worth $1, but they billed my credit card $14.95. I called immediately and was promised a refund in 7 to 10 days. People who don't review their credit card statement will be ripped off.
