Worst Experience I Ever Had in My Life - All Credit Goes to Veena World

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience with Veena World, which was, unfortunately, a series of disappointments. Our journey, which began with high expectations, turned out to be quite miserable. Here are the details of how our trip transitioned from being memorable to miserable right from the start:

Bus Issues from Delhi to Nainital: We boarded a bus from Delhi and immediately discovered that the AC wasn't working. Despite calling the emergency number, we faced two types of responses for at least two days: either the phone wasn't picked up, or we received false promises of a callback within an hour. Imagine being without AC during a more than 6-hour road journey in the Delhi heat.

False Repairs and Broken Promises: On the second day, we were assured that the AC had been repaired, but there was no significant change in the bus temperature. At night, we had a heated discussion with the coordinator and one of the managers. After a 2-hour conversation, they promised to repair the AC again. They also confirmed that they couldn't change our vehicle due to a spike in the Chardham crowd. It was strange to see that Veena World was not willing to spend more money to arrange another vehicle.

Poor Hospitality in Mussoorie: The hotel in Mussoorie had non-functional flushes and even the ACs weren't working. This was realized by other tour members as well.

Continued Travel Issues: We continued our journey from Nainital to Mussoorie in the same vehicle. Despite a technician working for 2 hours around 5 pm, the AC only marginally improved. Our anticipation of further issues proved correct as the problems continued.

Unhygienic Hotel Rooms: In Mussoorie, we found that all the rooms were non-AC, surprisingly chosen for the month of May. Our room was unclean, and we even found a dead cockroach (picture attached for reference).

Missed River Rafting in Rishikesh: The worst day of our tour was heading towards Rishikesh. Due to a 30-minute delay in our journey, we reached Rishikesh at 12 pm instead of 10 am. Despite 4 out of 20 people being ready for river rafting, the local guide and tour manager insisted on visiting temples until 4 pm. Consequently, we missed the opportunity to go river rafting. Although we were refunded, we lost a significant part of our trip due to poor planning.

Overall Quality of Hotels, Food, and Stay: The overall quality of hotels, food, and stay did not meet Veena World standards. The saddest part was meeting two other groups: one returning with beautiful memories and another enjoying a comfortable Volvo ride with excellent facilities.

Final Thoughts: I am aware that my feedback may be ignored or not posted on social media. However, remember that the customer is king. If you don't value us today, declining profitability trends may force you to value customers like us tomorrow. It's crucial to focus on your company's balance sheet, but be cautious about providing poor services to the customers who bring profit.
