Scammers! I bought vanilla gift card in Walgreens 100$ and could not access the money when I went online to check balance SYSTEM ERROR they steal your money!
I did call the phone on the back of the card i was on the line for 40 minutes to get connect and the customer service told me that someone else try to claim the money? And make a problems with giving me back my money! I have prove that i bought the card I have Receipt! Never ever buy again.! Stole my 100$ and waist my time on the phone biggest scammers

Very bad don't buy

I could not get my card to work. Tried multiple times. Called the number on the card and eventually after nearly 30 minutes on hold got to speak to someone. They gave me a case number and agreed to send me a check for the $30 in 3 to 5 weeks. It has been 16 weeks no check! I called them again 26 minutes on hold. I am told the customer team will review my case and email me in 24 to 48 hours. I'm not holding my breath. Save yourself the aggravation and don't buy this card.

Don't buy it

So I was given this as a birthday gift I activated the card. Check balance online BOM mistake one checking online gave the hackers the card information please please please do not use their website as said in other reviews the company doesn't give a damn I was on hold for 30 minutes just for someone to pick up n still not solved the issue... I would buy any gift card it's a waste of money. That you our your love one will never get to use

Huge scam!

Never call to check balance or to authorize the card takes forty + minutes of random sales BS, and in the end the 100 dollars card turned in to a 64 cent card! And hit my bank account for an ACH.
If someone wants you to purchase this card for them, " stop" say goodbye and lose their number!

This is the WORST gift card ever. It's a scam. If you purchase a $25, you CANNOT use it for any purchases OVER $25 (other gift cards just deduct the $25 and then you pay the difference with another card, right? NOT WITH THIS STUPID CARD! You HAVE to purchase something less than $25. I have.89 cents left on my card. Can't use it unless I purchase something for 89 cents EXACTLY or less than 89 cents. VANILLA keeps the change!

I bought 25.00 vanilla card and now these thieves rejected the refund won't tell me why. The better business bureau needs to step in and shut em down asap and make em all customers back. The regular visa mastercard gifts cards are better u can purchase online like Amazon so forth.

I have never experienced customer service this horrible in my lifetime. Purchased a gift card that was not valid from Walmart. Had to call Vanilla to get the problem resolved. Had to call three times each time waited over 45 minutes to only be disconnected when I asked to speak to a manager!

If your card is lost or stolen forget calling them. They have the worst costumer service in the world! They will never help you and will tell you their system is down every time you call. Be ready to wait hours on the line as well

I put $65 on the card when I went to use it there was only $25 on the card when I called them they said they will look into it and call back in 2 weeks when I did they said I have to wait another 90 days then call back...BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!

Got a Vanilla gift card as a gift, $50. Went online to check balance. First website is Vanillagift.net. I did not pay attention, put in my information as asked and system came back with error. Saw I went to net, not com. Immediately went to Vanillagift.com and my balance was 5 cents. Called telephone number on back of card and was put on hold 28 minutes. They told me someone had pending purchases of $49.95 from that day. I told them it was fraud. They said call back in 7 days and if Paypal had paid the charges, Vanillagift will dispute the charges with paypal?

Very disappointed with this company! DO NOT TRUST THEM! They don't honor their service and don't know how to care for customers. I got a $250 gift card from a friend, card was sealed when I got it and first time I tried to use it, it got declined because "I didn't have any balance". I have been talking back and forward with them for over 6 months and they do nothing about it. Opened up a claim to hear from them months after, saying the dispute was declined. I called to ask more explanation and they told me "to read the card's agreement" and they could do anything about it or even open the claim again, and refuse to get into further details on the investigation! SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD! STAY AWAY!

They stole my money

Wish I could leave a zero star rating! I bought a gift card as a gift for my child. They tried using it after making a few purchases and it didn't work so they called in to find out what was going on. Supposedly everything was resolved since we were able to account for all the purchases made on the card. But it still didn't work after being told the card was re-activated. I called, was put on hold for over 30 minutes and since I wasn't the one that called originally, now there was an ownership dispute. WHAT? The lady on the phone was not helpful and put me on hold for another 30 minutes after I went Karen on her and asked to speak to her manager. I was so mad after being on hold a total of over 65 minutes with no resolution. They basically are stealing my son's money. Nice Vanilla! I will never buy anything from you again and I will tell anyone I can not to, either. Your customer service is a joke and you should be shut down for stealing from you customers!

I bought a $300 gift card for my son on Saturday. Next day,Sunday, my son wants to buy something, and the card was without funds. I called visa vanilla and they said, call visa card, I called to visa card and the card was cloned, but they can't do nothing, and they do not recognize the stolen money because I have to talk with visa vanilla card, they are a separate business ‍

Bought a20$ card could not get registered.said system error. Waited 24hrs still the same thing system error... went back to food lion to get help with card. They got it registered. Was able to use card online. Checked balance and it gave it to me. Bought another card. Same thing all over again. Could not register online.could not get any help. So i spent it in thje store. Do not buy these cards. They are too much of a headache. I would give them a -0 review. Dissatified.

No one ever answer the phone. I purchase a card that never activated. They ask for copy of proof that takes over a month to review. Company practice stealing money. Will leave you on hold for over an hour. They will get reported to FTC, FCC, whoever need to know about this company. BBB also.

These gift cards are great IF THEY WORK! IF NOT! GET READY! You can call, SIT ON HOLD AND LISTEN TO THE SAME EXACT ANNOYING TUNE for 20+ minutes and THEN GET DISCONNECTED! REPEATEDLY! And if you are persistent and continue to be WILLING TO SIT ON HOLD For 20+ Minutes only to speak to a "Customer service rep" be told you will receive an email to resolve the "ISSUE" to NEVER receive said email and continue to be STUCK with a WORTHLESS CARD! I am hopeful to NEVER receive these Visa cards as any "gift" ever again!
