Valid valuation however i expected a higher auction price setting...40 years ago someone would offer me 2500€.so auction price now is not even close...strange

I need third party appraisals for insurance so thought I'd check out your service. I've been collecting handmade and custom knives for years, and frankly was stunned by how much you undervalued this knife. You completely ignored the Konstantin Lysenko Damascus. Your appraisal included the statement that Robert Flynt's knives were for sale on multiple online platforms. I'd love to know which ones. He hasn't produced a new knife in years. I'd have much preferred you simply tell me you lacked the expertise to appraise the piece, rather than take a stab at it and hope for the best.

The online process has been easy. I was very pleased. The research was thorough, informative and the cost is fair and affordable allowing me to use VMS service on several of my pieces. I highly recommend VMS appraisal services.

I am baffled by the Result. Oracle bones are very rare and the person of you waiting. This does not have any familiarity with what this artifact is. I would like a refund.

Over 48 hours I discovered what my beautiful framed marble Madonna statue was worth.

This process for appraisal could not have been easier. Just upload photos, measurements, and details you know, and within a couple of days, your appraisal is ready. I did need to add more photos for my appraisals, but the communication went so smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend this service.

Needed to check on valuation of a piece of art for insurance purposes (ie to know if I needed to increase insurance) and this was about as easy and cheap as it could be. And accepted by insurance (Allstate). Really amazing!

I expected more from this. My Royal Doulton figurine had a couple of numbers or initials in yellow that I was curious about and a number 15 next to the back stamp. Instead I received a very vague standard paragraph about the time line that it was manufactured and the so called auction value. Wow! Thanks for basically nothing.

I paid extra for arrive within 24 hours and my appraisal was delivered in 48 hours. I was pressed for time and disappointed with the time it took to receive my appraisal.

I paid with PayPal and the site did not initially accept the payment... I had to go back in and resubmit the appraisal request with the credit it recognized from my previous my payment... The initial appraisal provided was inaccurate with regard to the description of the clock and market values... But customer support stepped in and fairly addressed the issue...

You found a couple more comparisons than I found. I'm not sure it's worth $28.00 but will see if we sell it and the appraisal was the selling point

I received confirmation of country of origin, appraisal value and insurance value.

I requested confirmation of my novice interpretation of style, and composition.
It was not provided.

I appreciate the values yet disappointed with lack of Astetic interpretation.

The gave me an appraisal of $550, several local gun dealers had already offered me in excess of $950! Obviously the gun dealers would want to sell it at a profit so I'm sure the real value is well more than double, probably triple what ValueMyStuff appraised it at. Apparently their appraisers are not familiar with older firearms

I have been dealing with VMS for over two years now and have had twenty-four appraisals completed and have 8 credits waiting to be used. They have appraised multiple pieces of fine-art, coins, wood carvings, autographs, vintage clocks, bronze sculptures, and even an original German copy of Adolph Hitler's "Mein Kampf", among other things.

Those appraisals have always been documented accurately, including the "NOTES" section. I appreciate those notes as the appraiser will generally provide you with more in-depth knowledge about the piece.

I have had enough items appraised now to make me very comfortable with their service. The appraised values I have received have all been spot on and I no longer spend my time re-researching an item (only possible with the additional information they provide) to verify those appraisals.

I trust and recommend their service without reservation!
