This website is easy to use, I like that there are all formats of the textbooks needed. Its nice to be able to either rent, buy new or used. I've never not found a text book I was looking for. They even have international options. The returns are easy. I do kinda think that its ridiculous to offer textbook buy backs and it being one penny, that would be my only complaint at least make it worth a dollar because whats the point in selling 12 textbooks and only getting under $1.

“3 weeks and still no books”

I ordered my books on May 24th 2023 and its June 16th, there is no update, there is no seller information, the tracking number doesn't show anything, its been that way from the start. You can't contact them by phone. Classes already started 2 weeks ago and no one from this company contacts you back. They got your money and to bad about your books. Now i'm stuck in a class with no books and no way to contact them and get any reply back of where my books are.

The first time I ordered through Valore, my book was shipped from India, got held up in New Dehli customs and lost in transition. I had to contact the owner who resent another one. By then, I was two weeks into my five week accelerated class. Just now, I had trouble ordering as it would not let me type in my city, state or zip! I had to try several times.

Valor books canceled my order twice without telling me it has been canceled. They told me to call the bank to check why it was canceled or if i had any transactions missing but they said no

I bought a book but the seller canceled on me ValoreBooks did not email me to notify me about the cancelation. If they would of emailed me saying that that the seller cancelled I could of reordered it right away. I have to wait another 2-4 days. They usually do better but not this time.

I did get an ETA in my immediate confirmation email (4-14 business day), I need the book within 10 days so it would've been helpful to know this information before placing order. My wishful thinking is that I get it withing 10 days.

I ordered three books and it would not allow me to enter my home address. When I entered the street, several options popped up with my street name in different cities, but my street, in my city was not an option. I ended up having them shipped to my work address. I am not sure how the credit card went through, I had to use my work address as my billing address. The form will not just let you enter the city and zip code forms manually.

The process of ordering the book was easy and the price of the book was affordable. I hope you guys can continue to do good job after all the reviews I have read about your poor service. Please try to prove to me that those reviews are not true.

The web site suggests regular shipping is by mail, which clearly implies US Mail. But the product begins the journey via some alternate shipping system which has serious internal delays; it is only the last leg of delivery that is done by US Mail.

My package sat in Philadelphia for over a week, nothing moved, until finally it was delivered.

I don't understand the system being used but definitely found it less than clear or efficient.

Hello! Valorebooks would like to apologize for the confusion. Some of our sellers choose to ship items via joint-programs among shipping carriers. Essentially, a larger carrier will ship the book between large cities or across state lines. The package is then delivered to the smaller carrier for local delivery. If you're ever unsure of your tracking information, we recommend contacting your seller directly! Or you can try inputting the number into a search engine for all possible shipping carriers!

I ordered Solutions Manual for Stephen G. Kellison's the Theory of Interest on October 4th. I emailed the seller to obtain a tracking number, waited 5 days for a response and was then informed that this book is on backorder. I am annoyed that I was not informed that this book was on backorder BEFORE I ordered it. And I'm infuriated that my time has been wasted and I now have to turn around and start the order process all over again@!

Good prices for books. Tried to place an order and set up a different address and it would not accept the new address to my son's college. It was very frustrating I could not get them shipped to a different address and had to ship them to my house and pay for shipping to get them to my son. Terrible

Getting the order placed was a pain in the butt, not sure I'd do it again. This review box is a good example. Tried to just use the first sentence here, but I HAD to write 100 characters. Trying not to use Amazon, but ValoreBooks seems to be a good advertisement for them.

The process was easy enough, but prices changed in 2 days so I did not get a good deal. Still very costly to rent but even more costly to buy a book I will only use for class.

I placed rental order for a book at $29.50. The order went through. Then i got email couple days later that the order was cancelled. I replaced the order. But this time i had to pay $39.95 to rent the same book.

It didn't tell me anything about the rental, i. E. when is book due back, do I have to pay to ship it back, etc.
It didn't tell me when the order will be delivered when I chose expedited shipping, so I'm paying more but don't know whether it's worth it since I don't know the delivery date.

Twice they've canceled my book orders with no explanation. Both were for big price differentials, which makes me think the prices were in error or a bait & switch. I don't use them anymore, and the same goes for Abe Books. Use eBay or Amazon instead.

I had order a book before my classmate and I received the wrong book and she received right. So I asked for them to resend me the correct book and was told the book was no longer available. Like really! So I go back online and reordered the book yet again to see if it was available. Well let just say I have to see if the right book come this time. Not a happy camper and I have assignments DUE

I've just ordered my book so I don't know about the promptness of receiving my book yet. But when I was checking out, I couldn't for the life of me enter my shipping/billing address information. No matter how many times I tried to click on the state/zip code/city fields to enter those parts of my address, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happened. I really hope this was just a momentary glitch, but if it was, it needs to be fixed immediately. I almost decided to just go buy my book somewhere else.

They cancelled my order, but didn't give a reason. However, they said I could "try" reordering, which I did. I'm waiting to see whether the "new" order is accepted.

You should not expect your customers to have to use Autofill options. And you should not expect your customers to write a minimum of 100 characters for feedback.
