Utsav was great in staying connected. They asked me to provide the measurements etc., however, the tailor didn't follow any measurements. The outfit doesn't fit me, so disappointed. Bottom is loose from the waist. I can manage that. Shirt, shoulders too big and top too tight, not enough margin for me to even make it loose. Don't know what my options are.

Good choices available for all shopping needs and online purchase was very smooth.
But, I was extremely disappointed with delay in shipment. The reason for this feedback is as follows. I had placed my order on dec 08 and received it only on dec 21. Upon checking the tracking number associated with my shipment, I found that it was stuck in France for 7 days!
Need such long delays to be eliminated in future shipments by utsav.

I ordered size 42 red colour man kurta but i received size 46
It is too big for my husband and dont know what to do with it as diwali is next week.

Very poor stitching workmanship of garment, no neatness of stitching, Pants is short, have to pay to redo hem. Garments was not ironed.

This was my 3rd order and I'v always been very please with the models, the cut, the fabric etc. this time, there was only one picture and it is misleading; the dress looks much nicer on the picture than in reality.

I ordered 2 salwar kameez from the site and I got one after a month wait, (I was okay with the wait and was looking forward eagerly for the product). I had ordered it "stitch to fit" for it, paid $18 extra for it but ALAS the fitting sucks... my soaring excitement, took a plunging dive.
They just reconfirmed the opinion, Indian wear are not meant for online ordering. :(
I could not even get in it. I had submitted the measurements as were asked on the site and I have definitely gone fatter or thinner in a month.
See the image below, while churidaar has a lil bit too much breathing space, the top has no breathing space. This pic with the back zip slightly left open, that is only it i could put it on.
They should have mentioned if they wanted me to add 1-2 inches as fitting inches to my measurements. Its such a waste of money. As it is they are expensive when you buy them online vs if you are buying it when visiting India.
Now I am eagerly waiting for the next one, this one I ordered as standard Medium size and NOT custom stitch ( still paid $15 extra for it). Fingers crossed, hope it works. Will keep you guys updated.
The quality of material used and stitching does are all very good with lining and starched completed, that is why I had to give 2 starts, but sadly they are of no use to me as it does not fit.

They took accountability of this incident and finally refunded the alteration amount. Apart from this whole ordeal I must say that the quality of the material was very good and did look just like the image on the website.
I would say maybe order online atleast 1 month before you need it and alter somewhere else.

While the sharee was like the pictures, the custom-made stitched blouse was awful. The seams were too sloppy and it hung loose on my body like a baggy top. So disappointed!

My very first onine order with Utsav which arrived yesterday 29 Oct 15 - within 21 days of order & payment with Paypal with product in good condition & delivered securely by DHL. However - this is where the good part ends. The colour of the net saree that the model is wearing on the online ad and the description of product as "light teal" is totally a different shade of green from the colour of the saree that was delivered to me. Instead of "teal" - the saree and the petticoat is a bright green colour - only the embroidered patterned flower is light teal. The overall colour of the saree the model is wearing definitely looks "light teal" not bright green which was sent to me. I made no mistake in my order & only 4 colour choices are available in this design which are all different. When I notified the Utsav info line immediately after I opened the package - I got an auto response. I sent a couple more emails and no response to to date other than the generic auto reply. Be wary of drastic colour variation which are not just "minor" as stated in their website. Online shopping is all about accurate visual presentation and accurate description. There is a mention of free accessory but when placing the order I could not locate the correct link to order this. Utsav team is very quick to entice you to place an order with a 24 hour valid only discount with "free shipping". I am all for supporting Indian businesses but I wish I had a positive experience for a first timer. Suggest you ask for a small snip of material be sent to you but I doubt this will be entertained. Use Paypal for payment. As they say - caveat emptor!

Diappointed with services. I will never prefer this site for shopping. Please avoid this vendor..

Have ordered a red salwar kameez from these people and they took around 60 days to deliver. Do you ever care about your customers?

I ordered two sarees from this site. I was informed about the "possible" duty tax after my order was placed. I inquired about how much the tax would be and I was told that the staff has no idea. I went ahead with the purchase and recieved an invoice for duty tax for over 30%! My order totaled £125 and i was invoiced for £45 for tax! Considering the price of the items, they did not seem of high quality but returning would be costly and i would still be liable for the tax. I wouldnt recommend this site as the prices are not clear and further "add-ons" including tax, do not make this a cost effective option for quality indian sarees.

I ordered 2 dresses on 20th spet2013. Expecting them to receive on or before Diwali. 1 dress they shipped on time but the courier co delivered it to wrong address. When followed up with the utsav fashion they simply gave me some lame excuse and asked me to follow up with the courier co. Which was not acceptable as I paid to utsav for my order and not DHL. Well after a week 's follow up I received my dress. Which was OK in fitting. Well what to say abt 2nd dress. It came long after Diwali. And fitting is absolutely pathetic. From dropping shoulders to ill fitting chudidar. Everything abt that dress is wrong. Now I have to work on it if I want to wear which I will because I paid $80 for it. I am absolutely disappointed by the service of Utsav fashion. If you want to save the headache of follow ups and disappointment of wasting money then do not order from Utsav.

I've ordered some things that actually came in my right measurements (not all have; a bit upsetting). Some things have turned out beautifull, but i'm still waiting on two orders that should've been delivered two weeks ago... I'm sick of ordering from them and being scared every single time whether there will be a problem and i'll have to fight to get my money back. Once after 2.5 months, after emailing them twice, they finally emailed me back saying my outfit was destroyed in a fire, even though i'm pretty sure they sold out and did other peoples orders before mine bc i ordered it the day it was put up as a "new arrival" and said i was the 2sn to order... yet... 4 ppl that ordered days/weeks after me put up reviews w the same item saying they received it, bla bla. Why the lies? I shouldn't have to feel insecure about who i'm purchasing from. I'm going to go elsewhere from now on, I spent 700$ in one year, that's enough. Too much disappointment.

It fits however the pants were not sent! Disappointed! The top arrived late and no pants!'

Receiving a dummy garment before getting my "custom" made choli and lehenga. I was actually quite happy with the quality of the dummy garment. The sewing was neat and straight. The fit was almost perfect. However, I am not so happy with the choli or lehenga I just received.
I asked for two changes. I asked for my "around above waist" for the choli
To be one inch less to go from 35 to 34 and for the length of the Lehenga
To be one inch shorter to change from 40 to 39. I had been told the reason
My outfit was not ready was they were waiting on these changes and so I
Resent them. However, neither change was done and the sewing appears quite
Sloppy, with the excess fabric from what appears to have been originally an
Already sewn size 42 just resized by machine sewing with the bulky excess material folded over and then quickly tacked in place. In fact, the entire size of the choli is if anything larger than the dummy and hangs very poorly I also asked for front opening with hooks, with back lacing. This was done for the dummy, but not on the just received garment.

On the lehenga, the length was not shortened as I'd asked for, and the
Waist is much larger than the dummy. My waist measurement on file is 32.5 and yet when I measured the new lehenga the actual measurement of the waistband is almost 40 inches. Plus the length was never shortened as I'd requested prior to cutting.

So instead of getting an authorizaton to return and shipping so UTSAV can fix it, they instead want me to AGAIN list all the measurement points and eamil them digital pics. The outfit is very obviously sewn wrong and so why can't they look at the sewing quality when they get it back. Why can't they just admit to the mistake and fix the item without causing me yet more hassles?

I was surprised because the color indicated was "Old Rose" and I received a chocolate brown attire.
I requested a much lower neckline to show cleavage. My neckline is too high. It is almost closed neck, by my clavicle.
Also the bust line is too tight.
But I had no time to complain because it arrived 2 days before I left the US. I am not sure wether I will wear it to the event. Now I have to search for another attire here in the Phipippines, where I am. My son's wedding is on November 11,2023 and i was really hoping to wear the beautiful attire that was shown and indicating Old Rose because that is the theme of the wedding.

The Website displays attractive clothing and has a pleasant appearance. So I got Kurti Sets from here, and the item arrived in fine condition, but the fabric is extremely thin. Very Disappointed.

I have ordered size 36, whereas my original size is 34, just to make sure it's not small to fit. But surprisingly the product is too tight for me and there is no extra space left in two sides so that I can loosen it up according to my size. For me the product is wastage of money.

They sell products at a price that you can find in Jackson Heights, New York as well. They had a free stitching and free shipping offer, so I placed multiple orders. But they emailed me separately to ask for stitching charges. When I got into an argument about this, they said stitching would be free. Later they delivered poor quality products to my house. They created same patterns using poor fabric quality. Not happy about this. I had asked to cancel the order, but instead they tried to fool me byour using cheaper fabric material.

OMG! So, you all are saying like these... I believed in 100% and feeling sorry for you all as I am feeling sorry for myself. They are sucks, lier and mismanaged S. O. Bs. Their products are nice looking and that's why I have been shopping w/them for last 5-7 years, spent thousands of dollars for these misleading products of these idiots. However, the suffering I have gone thr. Each time, if I write down, going to be an essay. Let me express just one incidence among 100s: ordered about $1000. 00 dollars sarees and Panjabees for man and young grandson w/ lot of faith that they will do right if I explain. More than 20 emails I did and requested to maintain the modesty on these net sarees, place on extra lilene layer about 16" by 32" on the chest area. In between, they sent two sarees w/out these although they said 'mam, no problem on it to do. My request was not applied on these two sarees unfortunately. Again contacted them and reminded- bagged even for the remaining sarees to do so. Also, made calls to overseas in reffering these requests. And you know, their respond was such as (copy and paste from one of their emails among 100 emails & from about 50 reps in different name in each time)"
Their respond: We always check the items before shipping, but may be this item got skipped off by our quality control checking department. We have already forwarded your mail with the images to our senior management and hope this type of mistakes will not happen in future.
As regards to your order UT******* item SKK*******, we would like to request you to kindly keep it and as a token of compensation we are ready to credit you 10% of the item cost that is USD 8.05
Please confirm whether you are comfortable with the offer."

I informed back that I am keeping these as it is anyhow. However, remaining orders need to be taken care and plz send ASAP, it's more than/close to two months already. If you can give $20.00 discount for these lacking on these two, it can be reasonable compensation against these demages. B/c I have to stitch lilene on those w/ my hand and at least each saree is going to take an hr. For me. Plus I have severe back problem, can't sit and stitch So $10.00*2= $ 20.00. I am so glad finally you guys understood what I meant." But these offer was refused/turned down deadly.
In regards to the remaining sarees, they wanted me to send pics to make it clear where the lilene should be. So, to make it clear, I have sent pictures thr mobile phone and sent them, that didn't give a demn satisfactory result!
Requested back again to send w/ the marking where I want to have the lilene; then I did again and their respond in that time "now we understood and it's going to be the way you wanted..." I was hoping and still trusting soooo much.
Finally guess what, after another 2-3 weeks and reminding repeatedly. Stupid sarees came but each one I was opening and very disappointing that any saree didn't get lilene! What a pain in the $#*!/ pain is way on the picked of limpnode of my $#*!. I am very educated woman and came from a noble family but dealing w/ cheaters-liers can disappoint you so bad, somehow need to take the anger out. Specially these Indians are making good products to do buisness globally but their business ethics are so wrong and don't apply customer rule and need to improve immediately, otherwise, maximum customers are suffering.

Some more, still didn't receive the refund and didn't receive the Panjabi for our grandson! Fortunately, their baba PayPal is there and recovered few dollars from last time's transaction few months back.

Another incidence happend w/ this order, they told me, can't provide one saree b/ c of out of stock. So I was considerate minded, instead of asking refund bought two more sarees to adjust on adding two new more sarees, for that I have to met the difference of the cost as well. When I received the orders, that saree, the one was out of stock arrived plus w/out email/ discussing w/me the other two sarees sent, the new two I bought to replace. Sooooo strange!

That's it w/ Utsav sarees. Can't take anymore pain upto my limp node.
