Purchased Memorial weekend 2022, as they sent flier giving you a 5% discount and Free shipping. Should of ran then as they did not give free shipping. Was told it was a miss print and they were changing their flier.
Received unit (4000 GPD Defender) in 3 weeks on June 17th, which I thought was great.
Started system up on June 27th, 2022 after re-plumbing/wiring home. The UV light did not work and system water flow would not shut off (waste water). Spent 3 days trying to get in touch with of someone. When finally connected with someone, the water flow issue was an easy 20 minute fix (their solenoid had building materials holding diaphragm open from factory). Was told they would send new key Fab and Controller for UV light the next day.
After waiting 2 weeks and no parts I called again. Was told they were waiting for me to submit postage (for their faulty part) which they never mentioned when I had them on the phone. After 2 weeks I received just the FAB for the controller and no controller, as they said they were sending. Of coarse that did not fix the problem and had to call them again. After another 3 weeks I received the controller and that fixed the problem. Total time of 7 weeks waiting. August 12th UV light finally working.
I Got 26 days of use from unit until and pump and motor shut down. Called again on Sept. 8th and was told parts would be shipped by the weekend (the 10th). Called to follow up on Monday the 12th with no response. Called again Sept 13th and was told parts would be shipped that day. Received no tracking information by the 17th so called again and was told the parts were there and would be shipped Monday the 19th.
On the 21st Sept. I emailed them for a Return Authorization number so I could ship the whole unit back to them, as they seem to tell you what they think you want to hear, then do not follow through. I have better use for *******. 00
That afternoon I was told that parts were being shipped, but I have yet to receive any tracking information.
I Could not and will not recommend this company to anyone. They could of sold at least 4 more units just in my neighborhood, but when lied to so many times about shipping parts that are needed, i can not recommend them, even though for the 26 days out of 81, when the unit worked, it did what I was hoping for. In the mean time I had to reroute plumbing around unit and back to buying bottled water.

I have a Spring that gravity feeds the house. I had the water tested and had no chemicals, but a lot sediment and Coliform bacteria.
I told them I was installing a mechanical filter that was 150 micron then fed a softener/sediment filter combo but knew it wasn't enough. I had plenty of pressure and didn't want to change multiple filters multiple times a year if possible.
They suggested a 4.5" x 20" pleated filter step down process:
1- after the 150 micron filter but before the softener install a 50 micron filter
2- after the softener install a 20 micron
3- then install a 5 micron Filter
4- then a. 5 micron Filter
5-now the water is very clean of sediment install a Ultraviolet system.
When I explained that I had limited power they suggested the US Water Pulsar Quantum Disinfection System. It's a 10" filter that destroys bacteria on contact. It uses the 2/2/2 system which ensures 100% of the water passes through the filter. I have taken their suggestion and put it into service except I got carried away and installed 1 extra filter housing. I purchased an extra housing to have on hand in case one broke or had some other issue. (I'm in a rural area, closest store selling this type of equipment is 45-60 minutes away.) Somehow I ended up installing it, apparently I wasn't paying attention, just installing parts. So I called them and told them what I had done, they suggested a US Water Radial Flow Carbon Filter or leave it blank. I opted to install the Carbon filter after the 20 micron pleated Filter since the Carbon filter is also equivalent to 20 microns.
The end result, water doesn't taste as "Earthy" (to quote a friend). It's clear and clean. Last week I sent another sample off for testing and will update this if I get results different than what I expect, but I expect I will now have perfect clean H2O.
Great Customer Service and products all US MADE. That was the clincher for me to purchase. A product made in the United States of America. We've seen just recently what happens if we don't support our American-Made companies, they become Chinese companies and we run out of PPE. Thank you US Filter for being PRO-USA.
One last point, I can tell the difference in the products, I have used non-US made filters and they aren't as heavy. The sediment pleated filters from US Water are heavier than any from another country, that shows quality. The carbon filter was considerably heavier than the wet carbon filter that was on when I bought the house.
Great Products and Great People, you won't go wrong... I did purchase some extra 50 micron filters in the event I have to change them out more frequently, but they have been installed a month as of the pictures.
If you think you are going to order The same filter again set up that subscription, you can move the duration between shipments, the date of the next shipment, and adjust quantity. Great website, the only thing you can't do is add to a subscription that is already in place. I hope they do that as it would be nice to put a filter into a subscription without having to order it immediately.
