We have always felt welcomed and respected by USAA and the services they've provided for Veterans and families. HOWEVER, when we REALLY NEEDED HELP after totaling our 2016 vehicle earlier this year, we were totally and completely ripped off. Once totaled, they beat us down for weeks until we had no fight left in us trying to replace our vehicle. The settlement was more than $5,000 UNDER the proposed value by two separate, independent adjusters who reviewed our case after the fact. USAA did NOTHING to justify their settlement figures other than offer listed vehicles TWO YEARS OLDER with far less amenities and more mileage than our 2016. We have never 'totaled' a vehicle, or had any major accident claims in over 30 years, but this is how we were treated. We were left financially strapped, beaten down, and helpless after years of history with USAA.
