Just Couldn't Give A Great Review
August 7, 2023

My issue isn't with the merchandise, it was fine, tho not as pictured. My issue is with their delivery company. Since they contracted with that company, the company represents them. I never received notification as to delivery window as promised. Morning of delivery, after rescheduling with designer and our day, I receive an auto generated text saying there would be no delivery and they'd be in touch. I called delivery co and rep said she'd investigate and call back. Didn't happen. I had to call. They said they had truck issues. I said I'd be happy to be available all day once a working truck returned, since my original driver essentially had no work for the day. They refused. I told them I'd be available all weekend, and gave them other dates I'd be out of town. They sent an auto-generated text scheduling me for a date I told them I'd be out of town. Obviously no communicate with the company. I called Unlimited Furniture and explained the situation. They said they have ways to communicate behind the scenes and would work on it and call me. Didn't happen. The following week they called and said I'd have to take a date upon my return to town. I'm struggling to understand why I couldn't be accommodated, since they were the ones in error. Their lack of mechanical maintenance should not be my problem. I'd spent hours on the phone with Unlimited Furniture and their carrier, had to schedule one day, got a last minute cancellation, got rescheduled not at a time I was even in town and was obviously not prioritized. I told Unlimited Furniture that compensation would be required. I was offered white glove delivery, but didn't need it. Item was going 10 ft in the door. Then I was offered extended warrantee, but I have no kids or pets in the house, so not needed. I told them what my terms were. I received a call saying they filed a claim with the carrier, but they don't cover inconvenience. I pointed out they should cover unprofessionalism. In the end I got about one third of the fair compensation I requested. They said they couldn't afford the ask, without acknowledging I can't afford cancelled appointments from them esp when dealing with decorators and other professionals. I did give some stars because the rep was polite and mostly, tho not always, called when she said she would, and the item itself is okay, tho not as pictured.

Terrible company
August 9, 2022

I had a similar situation of being assured by them that the item was in stock before ordering and then afterwards being told that it was not and would be 2 months. Fast forward 8 months and as many times of being told the time line would be pushed back. I understand tgey cannot controll manufacturer however the communication has been poor and non existing at timea. Few weeks ago they finally recieved allocation from the producer and that it would be completed and shipped within the month. Last week they then emailed me to tell me that they are having a shipper issue with the company they use and cannot deliver my item due to the cost increase and not wanting to absorb the cost for the shipping as promised and therefore have canceled the order and allocation with the manufacturer. I reached out upset about how it was handles( I understand the shipping complications and would have been willing to cover additional costs on item I have waited almost a year for) was told it had already been done and could not be reversed with manufacturer or reallocated. On top of this they also told me if I still wanted the piece I could reorder and go to the back of the list while as well as they would not honor the origional price which has gone up almost $500 since last year and I would have to pay current price. I have spent the last week trying to get a supervisor on the phone being assured they will call me by end of day to never be called at all. Was then told today that they would call me at their convenience with absolutely no idea of a timeline as to when that may be. This week. Next week, a month. When I expressed needing to talk with a supervisor to figure this out and get some sort of answrt or see what getting my money back at this point as that i was loosing faith in them to deliever anything at this point and talk about if they were refusing to even talk to me or return a call. I was put on hold and then the gentleman came back on the line to let me know he had processed the cancelation for me because I had mentioned getting my money back, that it was final and could not be undone and to have a good day. From start to finish this has been the most unprofessional experience of my life. We completely re furnished a home this past year and this is the only company I have ever used that I would highly recommend people run the other way from. Terrible in every way. We will now see if the returned money is actually recieved. I'm doubt ful at this point based on all previous handling. Do not do business with them!

Awful experience
August 31, 2021

Be very careful with this company. We purchased an office set in January of 2021. Their website said it was INSTOCK. Eight months later we still dont have the furniture even though we paid full price in January. I understand the delays in processing due to COVID, but what happened next is awful. Their delivery company is not like a normal delivery company. They don't contact you when the order arrives, rather they wait until they have enough customers in your area to setup a route. If and when this happens, they send you a note saying the order is ready for delivery and they assign YOU a delivery date that is best for them. If you are on vacation that day, too bad for you. If you cannot get off work that day too bad for you. They send you to a website that looks like you can pick a date, but you cannot as the date they selected for you is hardwired. If you cannot make that date, it is very difficult to change as they say they have no other dates and they will contact you with a new date in the futute (time unspecified).

We received an email while in Florida around August 3rd saying our delivery would be delivered on August 10. I immediatley called the company and said we were leaving Florida for several weeks and asked if we could move the date up while we were still here. They said no. I then asked if we could schedule for September 8. They said yes and I thought this story was finished.

As it turns out this was just customer service attempting to get us off the phone. To our surprise on August 30 we received an email saying our delivery would be on Sep 3. I asked what happened to Sep 8 and they said they knew nothing about it. I asked if we could delay to the week of September 7 when we are back in town and they said no. They also said if we do not accept delivery on September 3rd there will be both storage and restocking fees. We explained we are not home on September 3rd and they basically said too bad for you.

I contacted customer service and they said there is nothing we can do for you. Had I known in January of 2021 that this "instock" order would be delivered in August and had to be accepted in August I would not have ordered.

Customer service was completley indifferent to our issue and basically said just pay the storage and restocking fee or cancel your trip and come home early. This is the type of company you are dealing with.

Tip for consumers:

Make sure you can accepted mandated delivery dates by the shipper or you pay a fee

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. FRAUDULENT AND CROOKS
July 5, 2021

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, they are so UNPROFESSIONAL and FRAUDULENT. I don't even know where to begin it's so bad. I bought a bed from this company for $2700 with white glove delivery service in march they said it would take 4-6 weeks and after almost 2 and a half months they called to tell me the bed was with delivery company but has scratches on the legs. I asked them to show me pictures of the scratches and where exactly on the bed the scratches were. That took 2 weeks for them to respond just to tell me that the scratches are on the headboard legs and are visible. So I didn't want to accept the bed with visible damage. Then they tried to bribe me to take the bed for a $500 discount and I told them I would decide once the bed is delivered and assembled to see how bad it looks. They finally delivered the bed and it's raining out and the delivery guys were so unprofessional. They not only did they not have on white gloves, but they also didn't have shoe covers and wanted to track mud in my house so I refused to accept delivery. So we rescheduled the delivery and when they came to re-deliver the bed it was 80% Assembled and will not fit up my stairs. The heardboard was welded to the legs, the canopy is already assembled and welded together and huge, and the front board was welded together too. So i told unlimited furniture the bed will not fit because it's already assembled and they said they can't give me a refund because I should of checked dimensions. I checked dimensions of it fitting in the room, but no one is assuming you going to send a bed already assembled and their website clearly says white glove service includes assembly which means the bed comes unassembled. There is no way to even disassemble the bed anyway because it is welded together. So they gave me $1k of my money back for refusing the delivery and kept $1700 (approx 70%) of my money for restocking fee and shipping. So now I am suing them in court for my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS AND FRAUDULENT! They are not accredited with the Better Business Bureau and have NUMEROUS complaints with the BBB for issues like this and not refunded customers money!

6 months to deliver
February 22, 2021

I placed an order for a Dining room set on October 22,2020. The set that I ordered showed it was in stock on the website. I know now from other reviewer's & my own experience that everything shows in stock here, but that is not the case. I was informed after ordering that my item was on back order and they were waiting on more from the manufacturer if I was willing to wait. I was told January 8 would be my ship date. The customer success manager that was handling my order emailed me multiple times informing me January 8 and then it changed to January 11. Not a big deal, but as the date of shipping came & went, Dale stopped sending me updates. So, on January 20,2021, I emailed my rep., Dale, he said he would look into it and get back to me. By January 28,2021, I had not heard from him again and sent another email requesting a new delivery date. He replied back that he would check with the manufacturer and see if he could expedite the process but couldn't make any guarantees. It was at this point that I started to feel like I was being given the runaround and maybe I gave my business to the wrong company. I found many other reviews of people who paid for furniture that they've never received. Since I knew the company that was making the furniture, I did a little research and located their contact information. Much to my surprise, they were able to locate an order for my furniture which had been fulfilled and shipped to Unlimited Furniture Group's warehouse on January 19th! I did a little more digging and found out that Dale, my representative, is not even in the United States. He's all the way in the Philippines and probably has no idea where my furniture is & never made a call to find out. I sent him another email on January 29,2021 telling him that I confirmed with the manufacturer my dining room shipped out 10 days ago. Dale apologized and said that my dining room set is in their consolidation warehouse and that there's no way he can give me an ETA, but he might know more early to mid next week. That was January 29 and today is February 22,2021. I have heard nothing from Dale or anyone at Unlimited Furniture Group about my order. So, it is unfortunately becoming clear to me that this company takes your money and gives you the runaround for months. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have placed this order.

Update:
Ended up contacting my Discover card to dispute the charge and the day that my dispute went to unlimited furniture, I received word from them that my order had shipped from the warehouse & was in route to my local delivery company. That took a while and on March 17, I received a text and email that my dining room set had arrived with my local delivery company. It would be 3 to 10 business days for them to inspect the furniture and contact me to schedule delivery. Today is April 7,2021 and so far, nothing. Coming up on six months with no dining room and to make matters worse, Liberty Furniture (the manufacturer if this particular dining room) does not make the set that I ordered anymore, so if anything comes in damaged I'm SOL ‍

April 23,2021 update... I have a dining room! Finally after 6 full months of stress & worry, it's all here. There is one small damaged spot on the trestle table, but overall, it's beautiful. I saved a lot of money on this gorgeous set, but would not order from UFG again. The delivery company they used to my home was fantastic though. Just glad it's all done and lesson learned.

Fraud!
June 8, 2020

I placed an order online after researching beds and found a model that was on clearance but that was "in stock". I had been looking for new beds for my kids for weeks, as they are quickly outgrowing the bunks. Because I was ordering online, I also confirmed the product information that I read with the sales department through their online chat feature to make sure that I didn't misunderstand what was included as beds are sometimes sold as separate parts under different sku. After my first chat, I left a great review because I was pleased with the personal touch, quick response, and for being able to confirm details before hitting submit on my order. I submitted my order and even ordered more than I had planned planned because of the great response during the sales process and also to meet the site's $1299 minimum order requirement.

The next day, the order was cancelled by the store. I received an email informing me of the cancellation, but with no (ZERO, nada, ziltch) explanation. On the cancellation, a phone number was included *******249) that I was "free to contact" if I had any questions; which, consequently, I did! After leaving messages (voice and email over the weekend) that were not returned.

I tried again Monday morning and again got a live person. Cole surreptitiously indicated that I had called the wrong number, that he handled sales, and that I needed to speak with customer service. I apologized but also indicated that this was the number I was given. He reiterated that I needed to speak with customer service and started rattling off a different number. The line he gave me appears to be unrelated to the company at all (which is to say that the greeting is robotic, doesn't mention the company, and only gives a generic "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable"... message. I wish I could say what happened, but am still awaiting a response and my calls to both numbers are going unanswered. :( Sadly, I believe that I would have loved the furniture I ordered, if I had ever received it. Now, my kids are sleeping on the floor, because I sold their bunkbed to make room for the new purchase. UGH! It's called COMMUNICATION people! At best, this business in inconsistent and incompetent. Stay away!

UPDATE

I received a response from the company that the item I had requested had been discontinued and was no longer available in the quantity I had ordered. I replied and asked why then had the website indicated the inventory was in stock and that the sales staff with whom I had chatted not indicated the lack of inventory at the time they were telling me all that was included? Apparently, they list items as in stock, even when they are not. I believe that the items are actually sent from the manufacturer, but the inventory systems do not sync. They apparently had zero units available and in stock, hence, my title remains.
The good news, if you can call it that... is that the company did send a response that was actually professional in tone. For me, the negative remains. If an item is not available and in stock, pull it from the site! I sincerely hope that they can figure it out, but I am unwilling to take the risk.
