I am a fairly busy person with lots of responsibilities while going back to school. I haven't been 'in the game' for some time (10+ years) and this service really helped me get back in the swing of things. The writers are solid enough (back and forth required with instructions) and they always deliver on time. I would recommend them. The customer service is friendly and reliable too.

I'm ashamed and beyond furious. My university accused me of plagiarism. It was an easy fast one-page assignment and turned out to be copied. Although I made some changes to personalize the discussion it still came back over (90%) unoriginal. Lychee 39454 Shame on you!

The orders are usually completed and a final copy is given, but not all orders are done in a timely manner (at least not within the deadline). Some writers write very well and others not so much. Also, dislike that you have to pay to request a writer now. Would be nice to get a discount code at least once a month or depending on how many pages are being ordered. Could cost a lot to get 2 pages written, just so that the order is delayed in the end.

I have utilized Ultius on several occasions. My recent paper was horrible. My professor critique my paper and also gave me the opportunity to resubmit the paper. First time receiving a poor paper so I decide to use the revision portion of Ultius. My revise paper grade was worse than my original grade.

Results are highly variable (worse on graduate-level work) and depend on the quality of your writer, and can be influenced by your preparation and instructions, timeline, ability to edit, and how many iterations you can afford to go though. Although Ultius says that editors proof read papers, I haven't seen a single paper that would pass a basic Perdue OWL or WriteCheck grammar review. Many papers were disjointed, stuffed with filler statements or contained paragraph after paragraph that conveyed little or no meaning. Most contained words that seemed to be generated randomly through use of a thesaurus, such as a new writer might do to avoid blatant plagiarism. Worse: the writers have figured out how to game Ultius' business processes. They will usually give you something by or near the due date, but it likely won't be usable. You'll need to use "request a revision" to get a usable product (after multiple rounds). Each revision typically exceeds the revision date by multiple days and may not address all the revisions requested. Don't pay for expedited work because your writer will likely follow the "give them anything by the due date" pattern and you'll be in revisions well past your due date.
What to do: 1) Give clear directions about the topic, content, and length of each section including key points 2) Plan way ahead and avoid expedited orders. The timeline is not going to work out for you if you're in a rush on graduate level work 3) Expect to spend hours reviewing and writing up revision instructions, possibly the same or similar instructions, more than once 4) Don't expect "A" grade work, at least not without significant effort on your part. 5) Always use a plagiarism-checker on the final product

Customer support gives generic replies, seems robotic at times.
Doesn't seems flexible. Support seems more like a gate keeper more than anything else. They seems to have no control over writers.
The whole system inside, doesn't let you have instant communication with the writers.
Like not having an instant chatbox with writers.
Some writers are good and fast inside though.

Hi Alex! Thank you very much for your feedback. It is true our support team does not have control over the writers. Since the writers are independent contractors scattered across the United States, the support team has the same access, communication wise, as a client. We apologize for that, but it comes with the freelance writer territory. I do understand your point about an instant chat box. The messaging system is the way clients can instantly communicate with their writers, but the writer would have to be logged into his or her Ultius account at the same time in order for a client to have a speedy reply. Unfortunately, we cannot require independent contractors to operate under a schedule. What I would suggest is messaging a writer and asking if he or she is available during certain parts of the day to chat back and forth using our messaging system. It would require a writer and client to agree, but it never hurts to ask!

As we grow, we continuously think about ways to improve our services, so I'm forwarding your feedback to our developer team. It would not result in any immediate changes, but as I mentioned to you, it wouldn't hurt to ask if there's a way to add new features to our current system.

Costumer support is very friendly and helpful! Papers are completed on time! Which is very important. As to the quality of writing, I must say that their writers definitely speak English, an obvious requirement when your writing an English paper, you would think, but not for most other sites. I would not qualify their writing as top-scale but it is not poor quality either. You can call it a happy medium. They are pricey but they wont make you want to pull every hair on your head compared to other sites that undoubtedly do, specially when your on a last minute call.

I got a paper and it was on time and pretty good. If you post on Facebook and on sites you can get discounts. It can be expensive but with the discounts its ok

I have used Ultius for 16 papers over the past 2 years. Their service can be hit or miss at times. If you give them enough lead time (7+ days) you can end up with a well written product at a reasonable cost. Over the past 2 years, their writers have missed a deadline 3 times. When they do miss a deadline, I have always had to initiate contact and try to determine when my paper will be delivered. I am also given a canned apology and offered (sometimes) a 10%-15% discount on my next order. My most recent experience was far worse; I ordered a 5 page paper with a 2 day deadline. The deadline was missed and my paper was delivered 17+ hours past the deadline. Numerous messages detailed that the writer uploaded the paper in an unrecognized format and they could not open the document and were trying to contact the writer for resolution. If they did not hear back from their writer by 7:00 AM Monday morning, they would have a "Staff Writer" complete my paper, although they did not give a timeline as to when it would be completed. During that time, I sent a detailed email to their support department describing my frustration and lack of recourse. I had no other alternative (other than writing it myself) than to wait for my paper. The paper that was delivered shortly after I sent the email was of an average quality that had grammatical, spelling and APA errors that I corrected on my own. While I have to accept some responsibility because I ordered my paper on Good Friday and needed it delivered on Easter Sunday, I would've liked to have seen a little better customer service on their part. Additionally, I had a 15% discount code that I was unable to use because it was no longer valid. This was a code that was issued to me after a previous missed deadline. Although my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing, I am judging them on the overall quality of their work and their lack of customer service. Hopefully the current paper that they are working on for me will be delivered on time and have a better quality.

Tip for consumers:
If you use them, try to give them as much lead time as you can. Be as descriptive as possible as to what you want in your paper. Upload as many samples and rubrics as you can so that they have a good idea as to the direction that your paper should be written. If you find a good writer, try to request them in the future so that you get the same quality and met deadline as before.

Actually, they didn't help me. Because they told me that my topic was too specific which means they couldn't find the writer. Then they simply told me that can't help me and refund my money without any trouble. Good customer service. Probably recommend.
