I am a fairly busy person with lots of responsibilities while going back to school. I haven't been 'in the game' for some time (10+ years) and this service really helped me get back in the swing of things. The writers are solid enough (back and forth required with instructions) and they always deliver on time. I would recommend them. The customer service is friendly and reliable too.

I'm ashamed and beyond furious. My university accused me of plagiarism. It was an easy fast one-page assignment and turned out to be copied. Although I made some changes to personalize the discussion it still came back over (90%) unoriginal. Lychee 39454 Shame on you!

Customer service is not about service. They are about making money. Their customer service people are not always helpful- at least one laughs at you and then basically hangs up if you have a problem with your order.
So if there are any problems with your service request hope that you don't get her. The writers on the other hand are really good.

I Literally, typed out a paragraph to explain the specific instructions that must be followed. I paid extra for a premium writer and proofreading and not only was the instructions not followed, but I had to pay to have a revision done in less than 3 DAYS?!?! Even if it's not your fault! So, it was way pass it's due date. My paper was marked down for being late as well.:-(

Hi Catherine! First of all, I am sincerely sorry the writer did not follow the initial instructions. In fact, thank you for providing so many details. Unfortunately, in this case, the writer did not add material from your proposal and used her own subtitles, which deviated from your instructions.

Using the revision feature was of course your most viable solution, but I noticed you requested the complimentary 3 day revision delivery option and understandably so, since it is free. However, sometimes that timeline doesn't work for certain orders. In those cases, never feel like you can't reach out to our Customer Support Team.

There are ways to forward urgent revision requests to our management team for approval. Urgent requests typically have a fee because we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee the original writers' availability since they are independent contractors. Subsequently, we need to encourage new writers to pick up revisions and that often takes extra resources. Nevertheless, we are always willing to work with our clients, so just give our 24/7 support team a call, text, or email should you ever run into this situation again. We hope it does not, but we wanted to assure you that we would be completely there for you if it did.

They provide good service but the writers they hire are definitely not qualified to write graduate research papers. So if you are a masters or doctorate student do not waste your money because the writing is not up to the level you would expect. If you need a minor paper for a bachelors or less, they are a good fit.

The first time I used this service is barley got a passing grade. The next time my assignment was wrong and when I requested a correction it was two days late. This service is horrible and they are dishonest about deadlines. I was very dissatisfied with their work. They screw you over and offer a 15 percent discount on your next order, how crafty.

For instance, order 65388's instructions called for "any type of research proposal," which your writer provided. When you asked for a revision, there was some speculation that there was a misunderstanding regarding the instructions and the research proposal should be based upon a real life problem in your field.

On March 30, an editor wrote: "Hello, if we could get an idea of a problem or research question that would be applicable to your work situation that would be very helpful. Since the proposal needs to be based on something applicable to you, we need to know a little about you." You replied the next day and roughly 8 hours later, we delivered your revision.

Your real life setting and career passions can only come from you. Our clients' confidentiality is very important to us, but it is possible to give information that is not tied to any of your personal information.

I do agree that late deliveries severely impact clients' abilities to use our services accordingly, and I am very sorry about your order's delay. I'd be happy to discuss any other concerns, with this order or the other order you mentioned, you have. In the meantime, I have partially refunded order 65388 based on the difference between your paid delivery and actual delivery. I look forward to hearing from you regarding your other order. I do want to offer you resolution.

There are many other services out there that can give you much better papers. Ultius has been late on 2 of 4 of my orders. One of them being extremely late. The writer just "gave up" and they had to reassign a new one when it was already late.

The customer service likes to pretend they care at all about your paper. Just steer far away from this company. They DO NOT have their stuff together. If you don't care about tardiness, quality, and customer service, go ahead and use them. I will never use Ultius again.

I hired this company to write three essays for me. The first was fantastic, I was thrilled, I anticipated doing a lot more business with them and was so happy to have found this resource! Then I got the second essay. It was a hot mess. I clicked the handy revisions button, and even thought I had paid for a two day turn around on my essay, I had to wait three days to have my revisions done at no additional charge. The third essay was horrible. Once again, I requested changes. It has been four days and I have had no communication regarding changes that were due in three days. Also, they have online chat so you can talk to someone when you have an issue, great right? Not so great, the online chat for support has never once been available when I tried to use it, and I have tried at least 10 times. Only online sales support, go figure.

Bottom line, when they do well for you, they do extremely well and I can see why they have some very positive reviews. But when they fail, it seems like an epic fail.

I work for an company that requires professional writing daily. This could have been an amazing resource for me. After my first experience, I was thrilled, now I am frustrated and disappointed. I don't know if my other two essays will ever be done to my satisfaction or if I should just scrap it and move on.

Highly disappointed!

Update: I just received the missing third essay revisions. They honored my request and had the writer I had so admired who wrote my first essay do the rewrite on this one. She did a fantastic job. I could not have been happier with this essay. I am still fundamentally unhappy with the second essay and would not dream of using it. Ultius had stated that I can pay for a rewrite, but they have taken two tries at it and neither writer answered the prompt. Two our of three isn't bad, but its not great either!

Tip for consumers:
If you have a quick deadline, using this company is a roll of the dice in the best case scenario. They might turn out something you love, or they may turn out crap. They real fail here is what happens when you are unhappy with the results. The revisions process was an epic fail!

Things start of on a positive note, however all business wanting a customers business start positively. The orders process is simple and reliable (confirmation sent to email).
Customers are charged for every detail of the service so be prepared. For a research 10+ page paper due in 30 days it will be $175+ depending on the level. The shipping or delivery process is also simple. Customers are notified via email of a message and upon checking your account the paper is available for download. Customers have seven Days to review and suggest revisions be done. Although, they claim to know what they are doing in the YouTube Video (making you think "I will read through it for any glaring issues,") once seven days have passed you might as well go to the purse or wallet time to pay for editing. Quality is horrible, what the do not tell you is these are sample papers information is incorrect or not accurate and sometimes often poorly presented. If you do not edit and check the accuracy of the content of "professional writers" your instructor will swear you are illiterate. Customer service is friendly, but the most they will do is offer you a 15% discount on your next order ($30.00 off of a $200.00 order), wow!

I seriously suggest going to another agency, writing it yourself (will save money and the frustration of having a professional do a half-$#*! job), or red-pen the hell out of it (again you are correcting professional writers for what you paid to have done).

As you mentioned, our order process is simple and reliable, and we do ask our clients to provide as many details as they can. We base our prices on level, length, and urgency (when you need it), but any amount of research is, of course, complimentary. Every order is different, so our writers carefully consider orders’ instructions as they research.

We have found that the most successful orders often have detailed prompts, rubrics, and other guidelines attached for our writers. However, in some cases, that does not happen so we offer a 7 day complimentary revision period. When our clients feel that their orders’ information is inaccurate or poorly presented, we encourage that they request revisions.

If clients need revisions past 7 days, we do have to charge a small fee depending on the urgency. Because our writers are independent contractors, we are ethically obligated to compensate them outside of their original contracts.

At any rate, I am very sorry for your dissatisfaction. As you noted, your experience started off positive, and I am happy to hear that you found our support team friendly. One of our objectives is to provide outstanding client support, and, as you have found, our team is there for you. I wish the discount code could have made up in some way, but I can understand your dismay. To be fair, I have used Ultius many times with ease and success; however I would not suggest using them for a Thesis until they refine their processes. In my case, the entire thesis process was horrible and costly. I gave multiple extensions and provided substantial feedback, but to my dismay, the final draft lived up to my fear; it was poorly written with vague sentences, mixed use of Chicago and Turabian and poor citations. To make matters worse, the writer I used many times before was snippy and insisted on me paying additional money by demanding I place another order to edit and/or revise their already subpar delivery. This was a 25 page paper that cost me well over $500. When paying this type of money a near perfect paper should be expected. While I gladly paid for assignments regarding my thesis, I believe there should be protectors in place that ensure the products delivered are of quality. Now I have to pay another 400+ to have the order revised/edited... that's over 1k for one thesis. I'm giving two stars only because of the research done.

In the future, I hope Ultius realizes the success of their brand rides on the quality of written works produced and word of mouth. The best writer I had by far was #*******. Not only did he/she listen, they took pride in their work. Here I am at the end of the semester having to rework the very paper I paid hundreds of dollars for myself!

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT let the writers or Ultius get away with providing unsatisfactory work you paid money for!!!!

I ordered a paper with much trepidation, having never used a writing service before. I work full-time in addition to school, and work demands were keeping me from meeting school deadlines. I requested the paper 3 days before it was due, just in case I needed to polish it up, but I didn't think I would have to since they use "world-class writers."

The paper was delivered 12 hours early, but I nearly had a heart attack when I read it. It was full of typos, disorganized, had sentences that were basically gibberish, and the writer hadn't followed the instructions I provided at all. It was like an 8th-grade kid wrote it.

Having exactly 3 days left, I put it in for revision and requested a new writer. Customer service was very kind and helpful. It took about 36 hours before a new writer took it on and during that time I was so nervous that I just started writing the paper instead of sleeping. I saw no other option, since the first paper was so horrendous that I had no idea what to expect with the revision.

The second writer's work was immensely better than the first, and he or she got their work finished with incredible speed, but by then I had halfway finished the paper myself. So I just turned in my own.

I don't think Ultius is a bad company (though I don't know what rock they found the first "writer" under). What happened to me is probably not typical. But ultimately, the whole situation was much more stressful than if I had just done the work myself, which is what I eventually did anyway.

8th grade writers that don't know the different types of style. Always late and will not answer emails when they know they are wrong. DO NOT USE this service if you are under a deadline or want quality work. Use this service if you want to give 8th graders your money. I have given this service many opportunities to rectify issues with quite a few papers and each time they failed. I do not recommend them.

I'll first begin my saying that I hardly write reviews. I have had 3 orders with this company.

To begin with the pros:

This is a good/legit company.
Customer service is impeccable.
Assignments usually delivered on time.
Excellent communication among customer service, the editing team, and writers.
Work is plagiarism free.
Good grammar and very clear writing

Cons are:

I had one instance where my work was not delivered on time. I granted an extension.
My biggest complaint is that writers seem incapable of following the task at hand. On two of my orders, it's almost as if the writer did not read the task at all. My first order had to be revised twice as the writers did not follow instructions. I had the same issue with my second order. I was at fault for not reading the work that a writer at Ultius completed; I essentially received a zero on the work that I submitted. I received a "not competent" grade in every single area on the grading rubric.

Policy - Free revision within seven days after receiving your order. I take no issue with a company that follows its stated policy. The order that I received a "zero" on, I requested a revision on the 8th day (the same day I received feedback from my instructor). I was initially granted a free revision, but that was later renege on. I was then told i'll have to pay for a revision. Based on principles alone, I refused to pay to a revise something that was so awfully written. Again, this wasn't the first time this happened, This happened on two of my orders (my third order was an addition to my first order).

Lesson learned - do your own work.

Our clients are very important to us, so it is awesome to know that you believe we have impeccable customer service and offer original and high quality content. As you noted, our deliveries are usually right on time. There have been cases where we have been late, and we feel badly for that. Also, I am sincerely sorry to read that your experiences have left you with the impression that our writers are incapable. I can assure you that is not the case, but while our writers are exceptional, sometimes they make mistakes. I apologize for that.

When investigating your order, I see that we did agree to complete your revision one day outside of the 7-day window. It looks like one editor agreed, but two others seemed to be on different pages. Since we initially told you yes, we definitely should have honored that. I will pass on this feedback to our Editing Department. They all work remotely, so it is sometimes more difficult for them to stay on the same page. Our Editorial Manager can take your feedback and use it to create a better system for editorial communication. There may be speed bumps, but that is a normal part of the learning curve.

I do understand your hesitancy in placing another order for a revision, but please understand we do not necessarily provide content based on feedback. We hope clients carefully read over their orders upon their upload and determine at that time if the writer followed the order’s instructions. That way, we deliver outstanding samples and clients get what they paid for according to their original instructions.
