I have ordered a pair of on sale boots on uggaustralia.com. One of the shoes came with an unremovable spot, so I went through the exchange process and sent them back. I called to make sure they still have the exact same boots available before I ship them back and also after I ship them. The sale section distinguished one day after I returned the item, so I called again. A male representative checked for me and said they are still in stock but just not on the website anymore since the sale was over, but he also said that within a couple of more days, these styles could be gone also since people do order from the phone. I googled the style of boots I wanted and found a link to it directly and it was from uggaustralia.com, yay, they still have them in stock! So I checked back that link every other day and after a couple of days, the item almost reached their warehouse, so I called again and wanted to make sure they are getting my shoes exchanged. A lady representative answered, and she was quite impatient with me for some reason. She told me that she couldn't find any of those boots online, and those shoes were out of stock a week ago. She also said in exact words, "You should have returned these to us earlier. How can we issue an exchange if we don't have them in stock anymore?" I was frustrated, I had my computer with me and googled the shoes again and had the webpage in front of me, added the shoes in cart and I could definitely check out on uggaustralia.com! Why is she saying the boots are out of stock!? So I made my point, and she said I'm either looking at the wrong page or if I refresh my page, it will be gone. I refreshed it so many times and I still have that item I just added a minute ago in cart! So she said she will transfer me to a supervisor to answer my questions, but instead she pur me on hold for 5 minutes and returned said in exact words "We don't have any of those shoes in our warehouse anymore, ok? We will give you a refund." With all the frustrations and concerns I hung up. What else could I say to her? After a couple of hours, I recieved an email from ugg saying that I have left something in cart, which was the shoes I wanted. This is hilirious! How can I add something in cart if it's not in stock anymore?
I was very disappointed and I really like the style of the shoes, so I searched online for other stores, and I bought the exact pair on another website for $10 less!
The next day, I recieved another email from ugg saying they have recieved my return and they are issuing my an exchange of the same shoes! Isn't this confusing? I had to call their customer service again, and the representative said that they do have some in stock and they are going to ship these shoes out to me! What? I explained what I have been through, and asked if I could just return these now. He said no I cannot do that! So everything was messed up and I was very very very unsatisfied with this order from Ugg. Now I ended up with two pairs of the exact same shoes, Ugg needs a week to ship them to me, I need another week to return it back to them and the refund will need another week to process... just great... Afterall this is what I get from a luxious brand company?
Aaaarrrgghh! Believe me, this website is 100% GENUINE, the real deal, bbbuuuuutt the customer service is TERRIBLE and the website has more faults and glitches than any i've ever seen! My boyfriend ordered me a £200 pair of boots from this site on 14th december, after reading that you must order by the 15th for GUARANTEED xmas delivery... but they didnt come for xmas, infact by 10th Jan they still had'nt come, and i still didnt even have a shipping number and when we tried to log in to the account we created, we got several responses, including 'the account doesnt exist' 'you have no orders on this account' 'unknown email address' blah blah blah... very frustrating! And when you try to call them you get either nothing, or a very unhelpful impatient rep who doesnt understand. So i cancelled the order through pure fury, and reordered from cloggs.com, a website i found through the counterfiet education on this site (the only decent thing about uggaustralia.com!) the boots arrived in 2days much too my satisfaction, and in the mean time i had finally got through to a rep for ugg and asked for a full refund, which i was told i would recieve in up to 5 working days which takes us to the 15th Jan, and believe it or not, i still haven't received my refund and can't make contact with this damn company! Gggggrrrrrrrr! I have received one email in reply to my 4, saying they will investigate my claim and notify me of any updates. In my eyes there is nothing to investigate. I have my order confirmation andorder number, all they need to do is look to see that my order was cancelled, but not yet refunded... how hard can it be?! On several occasions I have been promised a returned phone call by the end of the day, and received NOTHING!
I have threatened, begged and reasoned and i am at my wits end! What shall i do, is there any way to get my £200 back through a small claims office?
To summarise... DO NOT use this site to buy your boots only to research authenticity... yes its genuine, but so are about 50 other online retailers, which are listed on the counterfiet part of uggaustralia.com!
Rant over!
