After using TF for 2 years for the crux of my daily research, they suddenly started limiting returned results by omitting the date of birth in answers/results. I called the customer service line & the rep told me that they decided to eliminate the DOB overall & that it was not unique to my account. The rep offered no explanation as to "why," nor whether they would reinstate it.

Then, the "relationships" portion of searches would say "no results," which is BS. So, I emailed customer service, asking about both issues- DOB & relationships. An agent replied stating my account was flagged for suspicious activity (?!?!) & it was for safety reasons & that it was under review until I answered "what" I was looking for and "why" I chose TF.

I answered the questions, explaining that research is what I do for a number of reasons… business relationships, charity partnerships, candidates for public service committees, realtor inquisitions of potential clients they are meeting, singles wanting to know if a date is a criminal, etc, etc, etc.

They have yet to reply, and I have been paying full price for searches that yield very little. If you need a service that delivers consistently, I do not recommend TruthFinders.

This is definitely the guy I wanted to find. Kind of expensive though, I wish I didn't have to pay so much.

I checked myself ands my family members first. BS results. Something that anyone can come out with little work on internet. Wrong info as well in quite many cases.
Considering the cost $30 it is like an extortion for what you get in return. Maybe the site is legit but it does not meet the expectations the service lured you into purchasing.

Takes a lot of time and keep you waiting for a page to another one and keeps your eyes on its with fake forever-running timers but finally asks you $30.00 for a report! No! Thank you!

Shows some info. Missed some info also. Do it just to use their free or 1 dollar trial. Then be sure to cancel before they charge you $25+. Definitely not worth paying that for. I wouldn't do that. They don't give enough information for you to pay more than a dollar or so.

Very good information. It I is well worth the price. Great resource if your are hiring, renting, or just want to find out information about someone.

Comes in handy often. I wish marriage records showed separately from other "relatives", and the actual dob showed up without clicking the timeline.

This is a great tool to find out if there's trouble with this person if renting to them or if dating a family member

This app is pretty confusing. It does have some good info but you need to keep spending in order to keep digging

I decided to see what's on line about me.never used a computer until 1/30/23. The information about relatives is wrong don't know 2 of them iv never had Facebook Twitter ect.then wants to charge me money to see the rest probably won't let me correct it. Like a lot of stuff on the net don't trust the information u get probably 50/50 on wrong information

Honest review. I liked truth finder. The information it returned was way more accurate than BeenVerified, and it was easy to navigate - once i found the person, i could easily click and open in a new tab related reports, like a location report of an address they lived at or a phone report showing websites where it was used to register. I just found way more on this site than any other. Everything was going good UNTIL I apparently used it too much (that's my guess) because it CLEARLY started throttling my IP. I know this because I'd go to truthfinder.com in my browser and the site would come up perfectly fine, but as soon as I logged in...ohhh what'd ya know...the site suddenly stopped loading and just spin - never load anything. The proof it was limiting my access was uncovered when I switched to a different network - voilà the site suddenly started working again and allowing me to do stuff. I'm not like a private investigator doing hundreds of searches a day, but even if i was, their subscription says UNLIMITED. It's clearly not. I don't like false advertising. Even though I was unhappy with their service, I need to say that it was SUPER EASY TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. I don't know if the reviews talking about them locking you in for life are old, before mobile apps or something, but i literally canceled my subscription with 1-click. I wish the performance was better. I would've kept truth finder my go-to background check, but I don't like the way they went about limiting my access. I searched myself and found the information to be pretty accurate. Truth finder vs BeenVerified = When I searched my married name in BeenVerified, it returned nothing, but returned some info when I searched my maiden name. When I searched my married name in TruthFinder, it returned way more information and had my maiden name as an alias. It's not perfect, but it's better than BeenVerified.

Great program, finds a lot of information, I would recommend this program to anyone who is searching for someone

Listed me having an account on website that wasn't even mine and being associated with someone I've never heard of that lives in a different state.

That site is just wrong, said I was 63 and lived in Eugene Oregon, no and no, not 63 and never lived In Eugene. Said my record contained sensitive images and showed a blurred out image of what appeared to be a naked person, I don't know how since I've never taken a nude photo of myself or anyone else and I've never sent a 'Richard pic'. Then when I used the 'remove my info from truthfinder' option on their website it doesn't work, just a ploy to try and get you to sign up. That site is all about making money they don't care who they hurt with wrong information.
*Update to the person from Truthfinder who responded to my review: It was a pre-view and no I didn't open the wrong report, you had some things that were correct and could apply only to me but some things were absolutely incorrect.
