Geez where do I start? First the fit is wrong. Mostly made for Dad bods and fatties. Quality...meh. I'd wear it but pricier than it should be. They never have anything in stock for sizes that fit anyone built like a human being. They spam the ever living crap out of you. I mean bad. As if 7 emails in a couple hours wasn't bad enough, they text you on top of that with more useless promos. Telling me I left something behind when there was nothing in my cart, too. Unbelievable. There isn't a stalker alive this invasive. Ill bet they are probably going through my trash right now.
Now, let's get to the service. Oh, the service. I'm convinced that every time they get a customer support call they sacrifice 6 kittens to the devil. I think that whole department sets around and fights over who gets to eat the last cornflower blue crayon. These guys could not find their $#*! with 2 hands, a back up camera and a tour guide.
OK, (sigh), the "Risk Free Returns & Exchanges." Excuse me while I change my soiled underwear from laughing so hard. Oh yeah, I just remembered how pissed off I am. I started an exchange no problem. Well, they never sent me any update on what the hell to do. There were some drop locations for quick and easy returns. Yes, easy locations; drop off, not easy. I contacted them first on the website chat. Yeah...that was a circular nightmare to nowhere. They guy was pretty unavailable, puffing on that California skunk weed. I had to ask if anyone was there. So, eventually he sends me a link that supposed to help. The link was to start a return. Well thanks, numb nuts, I've already started that and you can't start a new one for the same order. I relayed this message to "Richard," but he was too baked watching the paint dry that he had just huffed and was catatonic. I made sure to thank him for his lack of help, because I'm cordial like that. Moving on, I contacted the support text number next.
There was a friendly but incompetent (shocker) person attempting to help me as I waited, and waited, and waited some more for a response. Well, I got tired of waiting since I'm literally, now, at the drop off point, while on my way to work, to return this package. So, after minutes of no response, I copied and resent the same message like 5 times. That was a mistake, because, there is an automated response before a real person (as if) answers. Finally, I convey the problem, and they were going to email me a code or label or instructions or whatever. Of course, it never showed up, because, that would take the ingenuity of a slug to complete. So finally she(?), the support person, sends me a link in case the email didn't show up. And It didn't. I'm now running late for work. I'm 2 hours into this for the day, not including the initial day I started the return claim. I click the link, it's a return label. Great. Well, the drop place requires a QR code. You gotta be kidding me. So I relay this to the "support" person stating that I don't understand why this is so hard. I let her know that the reviews are not going to reflect well. She(?) apologized. I explained that I will be going to BBB to report them, then on to Consumer Fraud division because I clearly have nothing better to do with my life than become a complete Karen (I'm still going to report them, btw). She replies (much later of course) with "Please give us a chance to make it right, Ill get a QR code." IT NEVER HAPPENED. "Make it right!?" They can't even make sense! At this point I'm late for work and missed 2 hours of business. That's $200 dollars I didn't make that otherwise would have. Someone should punish their parents for procreating. I just wanted a couple pairs of shorts, I like their shorts too, not eternal damnation in hell.
I will be posting this review everywhere in the spoken language world and in every translation google will do for me. If they want to make it right, it would have to be quite impressive because s******g on this company is my new occupation.
This company is incompetent. They spam you, The support is anything but. They are fraudulent. They ignore you until your return window times out. They are completely useless.
None. Wrong size
If I could give a lower review - I would. My review was actually "flagged" and taken off because after posting it - True Classic wanted interaction that I wouldn't give. This was done through their website channeled review source of Truspilot.
I asked for interaction prior, but they wouldn't respond. THEN I posted my review weeks later - and all the sudden they want to communicate. Lame lame lame.
My order is real / my facts are actual. It's says bad things about True Classic and Trust Pilot that they'd take my review off - like … that's either "free-enterprise" in its very worst light - or a giant step towards communism. LOL
Seriously - flagging a factual review - with a confirmed email and an actual order number. SHAME ON YOU!
True Classic Order #*******
The point of reviews is transparency - censoring and removing my review because NOW you only want to talk to me AFTER you've been negatively reviewed is downright dishonest.________________________________________________
Response to TrustPilots Reply: 3/5/23 - after they replied to the prior review saying I didn't respond to them, so they had the review negated.________________________________________________
Well … that's a bunch of half truth. Yes … you reached out … and I responded … THE FIRST TIME. Is ongoing and unlimited communication a requirement to leave a review posted about your terrible service?
Also - please remember I only posted the review several weeks after I received no response from you … despite my initial request. That's such a double standard … and all too telling.
I thought the review process was supposed to create transparency of a customer's experience … vs some contest of will or attrition. I was a legitimate customer, with a legitimately negative experience. Yes … you certainly did refund the money … that fact was NEVER in question or even part of the original complaint. You may as well accuse me of eating carrots. That would also be true, and also irrelevant to my negative review of True Classic. Even now, your response is just more manipulation of review's optic and process. I'm reposting the review - and I'll continue to reply as needed - just to keep it on the board.
My complaint stands … as stated. I'm going to repost it (everywhere I can... now). And... btw. I gave TrustPilot the same review - they TOTALLY owned it. Like, trust is restored with them. They didn't seek some loophole to find a way to dismiss the review. I hope they have some way to penalize you for your manipulation of the data. I've since updated their review - per their response and willingness in transparency to 4 stars. True Classic - can ONLY go down. Like... unfortunately dishonesty has it's place in this world - it's too bad that it's seemingly found a home with you.
To anyone reading this … based on my experience, I do not trust that True Classic's or Tristpilot's "reviews" reflect anything more than a manipulated attempt to dictate the terms of their desired optic. I would never choose to do business with them … ever again._______________________________________________
Here is the review originally posted - which True Classic lied saying I didn't respond - in order to have the review negated. I certainly did respond, the first time they reached out. I told them I wasn't seeking any resolution and only wanted to be no longer contacted by them. To which - they continued to follow up, and I subsequently ignored them.________________________

The product is highly irregular and inconsistent with makeup and quality. My most recent experience, they cancelled an order, notifying me 10 days AFTER they'd banked my money. They offered no other explanation besides "unforeseen circumstances", even after I asked - no empathy for not receiving the orders I was waiting on- and another almost two weeks to refund my money.
I've gotta believe their positive reviews are random single-experience people - and/or likely an engineered effort by True Classic, spending resources on their online image that should have been diverted to product and service.

Don't use them - they don't seem committed to truth and transparency

I was happy to get my gray Henley long sleeve in the mail fairly quickly. That should have been the case because shipping was 7 dollars. My first impression before taking it out of the package was that it is probably a thin shirt because the package itself was thin. But also the collar and buttons looked great! After removing the shirt it is indeed a little thin, but it didn't take away from any of the quality. I like henleys that are almost thermal typically, but this Henley was to my liking despite initial impressions. The size was true to label. 2xl was a little big at first but not by much. Sizing is fair.
I have heard that True Classic shirts hide your fat and emphasize muscles. All I can say is I've worn the shirt twice in one week and that I broke the shirt in well. It hangs gracefully. It isn't a bad shirt at all! The collar and buttons look fantastic, is a cooling shirt and doesn't feel constricting.
I did have a gripe at first where there looked to be an unusual stitching job on a section of the shirt where the collar seams are and it was this that led me to create a more pessimistic review at first.
I had corresponded with one of the True Classics representatives about it, and I was so impressed by the level and quality of care I received. Raleigh made every effort to offer to replace the shirt, and I gratefully accepted. I really want to emphasize that he got in touch with me quickly, was understanding of my questions and complaints, and did not argue with me or present any hard facts that weren't in my favor, and it resulted it the shirt being replaced and is on its way.
If I could summarize, the True Classic Henley is a cool shirt, has the look I wanted, I got it on sale, and I tried something new! It is a thinner shirt, but not compromising on the quality and the effects of a long sleeve shirt like keeping you warm or cool. If you're looking for a staple quality shirt that is henley style, I would try this True Classic shirt as it has the authenticity of a traditional Henley, as the name True Classic says, and has a cooling body, aesthetically true to the original collar and buttons. It is the perfect shirt for a cool summer day in California. The long sleeves do not make you hot. And it's not so thin that you couldn't wear it in the cold winter months in the morning. But do wear an A-Shirt with it underneath absolutely. Most recently I have paired it with an open vest.
I hope you find what you're looking for. One thing you might consider if you care where the money goes, True Classic gives a bunch of clothes every month to veterans and others in need. You can read about it on their website. If you haven't already, try browsing their site or phone app. They have really great sales of 50% off and more. I saw a 9-pack where each shirt equaled out to be under $10 each! I will absolutely be back probably around Christmas time to pick up something like trying their polo shirt or pocket crew or their 'Tall' crew shirt. Thanks for reading!
I would consider everything that is about the transaction like if the company is involved in charity. True Classic also has a rewards program and a phone app available. There are regular sales on the website and they have a program where you craft a pack of 2 or more items with each marginal item you gain another percentage discount.
You will pay for shipping if your order is under $100.
You may not apply any promo codes from podcasts or anywhere else, on items that are already on sale.
