Located between Covent Gardens and Holborn, this club used to be called Guanabara and was known for its Brazilian themed nights which attracted a cool, exotic mix of people that all added to the fun.

New management took over and they now seem to cater solely to middle-aged hen parties who will sit at the tables, which are right next to the tiny dance floor, and down greasy food until the small hours of the morning, leaving whole the place reeking like a cheap cafe. They intentionally delay increasing the dance music volume and putting on any live acts until they have sold out all their tables which means the place remains a canteen until midnight or later.

Management and bouncers are arrogant, short-tempered and drinks become expensive after 9 pm.

In brief, if you don't want to leave smelling like a burnt sausage, there are many better places in London to dance to a mix of club and cheese.
