I had emergencies with two of my adult children. Thought I could trust Trojan storage since in 10 months I hadn't been late to pay nor not one problem. We cleaned up after ourselves, Obeyed all the rules... At 16 days late they place the lien on my stuff and destroyed lock to inventory our stuff to get it ready for online auctions! Not a good place! They are more worried with obtaining your stuff than repetitive monthly payments. Customer reviews etc. Makes no sense! Don't trust them! Do research before ever signing your stuff over when you sign that contract! BEWARE!

Careful guys the prices listed everywhere on the internet is for the discounted 2 first months When you got to the facility they gonna charge you big bucks.
When talking on the phone, they said the 10'×20' unit was for $239 which made me drive for 20 minutes to their facility, then the lady at the office told me this rate is was the discounted period only.
Stay away from Trojan Storage! I've had a very bad experience with them, and I've heard from others who say they also have had very negative experiences with this company. Ironically, Trojan bills itself as especially clean, but that is certainly not the experience I've had with them. I've seen rats, as well as rat droppings, multiple times, in the common areas of the facility. There was also an infestation of a species of insect I've never seen before (and hope I never do again; those little critters were really disgusting!). Thankfully, I don't have rats or insects in my own unit, but it is nonetheless disconcerting to see such filth outside my unit. I've heard many others who have units with Trojan bitterly complain about how dirty the facilities are.
