I am so happy, because trivago is the best hotel searching site. When i go abroad i use trivago and everytime they give me good job. I say thanks from hereto trivago
They advertise a price and clearly state that the reservation is cancelable. Click on link, enter CC info, get a confirmation that reservation is non refundable. They hide behind the booking company and they're not responsible for the change in terms. Complete BS of a business model. There's a reason that they've been fined by governments for fraud. Only by stopping using them, will they go away for good.
Two Owners!
One great guy, Matti!
His partner is a bad-mannered man with no appreciation of good customers.
Good food, good servers.
Without this brute, it would be a good restaurant!
Trivago please invest few bucks and buy your spokesmen new clothes and sawing kit. He looks like homeless bum advertising homeless shelter.
Cheap hotel, smells of ethnic food, looks bad on outside, rooms ok but need detail cleaned and painted. Bathroom need help. No fresh toilet paper. Lobby dirty and messy with owners kids stuff. Pool nasty with werid algie on bottom. Ice machine not working. AdAdvertised breakfast... burnt coffee reaked in lobby with a packed honey bun on plate. Cheap enough for one night but never go again.
My husband and I travel quite a bit and use this app to help find reasonable hotels that take pets. It seems that half the time we find a hotel on the app that says they are pet friendly but get to the hotel and they say they are not. I had one today tell me that they haven't accepted pets for over three years. I woulda really like to see some updates done to this app. It really is helpful just wish it was more accurate. We have also had a few issues with the hotel not wanting to match the price seen on the app but that has only happened a few times. Most generally they will honor it.
Listen Trivago people, Please keep trivago man the way he was the first time.
You keep trying to reinvent him thinking that sexy is a suit... WRONG! Sexy
Trivago man is the first commercial look he had going on, he was preeminent of
A 70s porn/bad guy stare and THAT was his allure. He didn't know he was cute and
That also helped the allure. Making into a normal guy has you missing your mark
On the reason he was so popular to begin with. Please put him back the way he was,
Mean, sexy and ignorant of it all.
Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights from 16th March 2015. The breakfast was ok, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. This hotel is very central and near to shops Restaurants and tlots of lovely scenery and the bridges were amazing. I t was 10 mintes walk to go on the boat along the river under the bridges. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel. It has a very Russian theme
Its great once you've found a hotel already but its not the best to search for a new place. It does the job it says it will do.
We're talking about Forbes Island on pier 39 in the fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. The whole experience was magnificent. First, you take a short ferry ride to the restaurant. From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. The food was exquisite. It was a four course meal each course was fantastic and the service was phenomenal and her name was Katya. All told a beautiful Birthday experience for my wife.
We spent three nights at this hotel, yet never received room service. I was pleased by the spaciousness of the room but could not overlook the (fairly clean) yet outdated nature. The grounds (and stairways!) are in complete disrepair. I enjoyed the quality of breakfast but was absolutely dismayed by the nazi nature of staffing: breakfast is pulled at the exact minute despite guest needs~ I arrived 15 minutes before closing (9am) yet was refused (apon asking) eggs (empty tray) for my 15 month old child because it "was too close to closing". Such disregard means I will never stay at this location (or probably any choice hotels again).
I made two bookings using Trivago in the past several months. Trivago does a good job of a search engine by gathering data, but does not make it clear that some of those third party hotel booking search results are foreign companies. Booking.com is one of those, based in the UK. Booking.com has a loosely worded "guarantee" for its lowest price, which you will not be able to dispute. It only guarantees the price is the lowest at the time of booking, and disallows any non-refundable bookings, which of course, all or most of their offers are. Therefore their "guaranteed lowest price" is not worth anything. I noted that the room price changed on my booking through them to a lower amount for my selected hotel the next day, but couldn't change my reservation without forfeiting my paid charge. From this bad experience, I learned that I could beat the hotel rates shown on the Trivago search by calling the hotel direct and negotiating with them instead of using this third party booking company. Read the numerous complaints on Booking.com before using them. Trivago would do well to provide a clear option to avoid foreign booking companies.
