I saw a great fare RT SFO-LAX, so went to buy online. Submitted credit card info, but the transaction failed - said they would call in under ten minutes. Never heard from them, so I called them. Got VM when I did. Never heard back. DO NOT USE! Watching my credit card like a hawk to make sure they don't scam me.

I had reservations on April 21 2020 to USA AIR INDIA FLIGHT. Requested for datechange/cancellation.
DATE CHANGE CONVERSATION- AIRINDIA has a policy to waive date change fee and charges only for a fare difference. When i have called to change the dates they say the fare difference is around 450$. I made a reservation for 1470+ and if i see the price for a date i want to reserve in travelop site the price of the ticket is 1420+ which is cheper of around 50$ but travolpod asked me to pay 450$ as a fare difference :( . They say thats how software works.My ticket will be 1470+450(price difference). PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHILE BOOKING WITH TRAVELOPOD!

CANCELLATION-ENDED PAYING CANCELLATION FEE OF 480$+ as this is non refundable ticket!

CANCELLATION OR CHANGE I NEED TO PAY 450$+?!

Sorry to hear about this upsetting experience. We really apologize for the same. Lots of travelers are facing issues due to Covid 19. Booking a new ticket and making amendment in existing booking are 2 different things. All airlines are charging fare difference(if any). As checked, you had purchased non-refundable tickets and probably cancellation had been done on exceptional basis with some penalty, needs to pay to airline so that you would not loose complete ticket amount. Very Aweful And worst experience. I had booked my parents ticket from India to SFO, due to the pandemic all flights got cancelled and I got an cancellation email from Emirates airline 3 months before the scheduled date and mentioned about full refund, when contacted the Travelopod they said they will be refunding the full amount within 4-6 wks and when again contacted after 6 wks they mentioned that they cannot refund the full amount and charged a cancellation of $350 per ticket times 2 tickets which was $700... I just booked through them cause one of my friends recommended them. I would never recommend them to any of my friends. I hope others read this before they book.

I was overcharged for my tickets which was confirmed by Southwest Airlines. I am wanting a refund.

I was told I would only get 150.00 refunded of the 319.92 I was charged.Southwest only charged me 5.96 per ticket with my prior tickets that were cancelled.I was charged 200 to make them changeable and refundable which southwest said wasn’t true.

Hello,
I bought ticket on JANUARY 10,2021 TO MARCH 25,2021. Somehow these travelopd people change my travel date with my consent. They change it for may 31. Good thing was I find out these mother follower change my travel date. So I called and firstly rep said I called to change the date. Then I ask ok, if some call you to change the date. Then how much did you charge. Cus you can't change my travel date with penalty. So he show me dumb voice. And start saying it done by airline. Hey travelopod, how you could you be so dumb? Disgusting. Then I called airline and they said change is done by travel agency. So I ask them to send me confirmation that its not change by airline. Airline rep sent me the confirmation and I forward this email to travelopod. These id**t did not issue me new ticket in 9 days. They keep lies to me that they talking to airline for ticket. But I know travelopd rep was lying. They finally issue ticket one day prior to my departure date.
Im asking them to compensate my filgh. If not then, I will get you.

BEWARE! They pretend to be known airlines to scam people - they deceived me into believeing i was speaking to United and upcharged me for tickets [as for the the airline receipt these scammers pocketed $707] if i wouldn't have an United account I wouldn't notice the scam. AND they use their company card to pay the airline and then charge my card to their system for whatever upcharge they had me convinced it was the ticket price... so if you have any benefits of using your airline credit card, you can say goodbye to that. I disputed the upcharge with my credit card and Travelpod sent an email threatening me to mess up my credit, submit a small claim in court and sue me bla bla. YOU ROBBED MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND IM THE ONE TO BE TAKEN TO COURT? HOW DARE YOU? You should be ashamed of yourself!

This is the worst travel reservation service I have ever dealt with. Made air fair reservation for India in April 2019 for travel date of 6/7/2019 flight time was changed Travelopod didn't notify of change flight was missed. Spent all day trying to get a new reservation for next day nothing was done. They refused to give me a refund. I will never use this service. Will never recommend to anyone.

The customer care reps are worst and very rude, they will behave as if they are not selling product but are doing a favor to you as if they are offering free tickets. Contacted different people in hopes of better courteous customer care reps but I was wrong, never ever book with them and they charge you way higher than online prices offered directly by the airlines so stay way.

I book flights for my friends for $2500, because of some reason they sent back from airport. I am talking to travel o pod from 4 months. They told me they will refund my money back but I have to pay taxes. I paid $1200 takes again to get my money back. They are giving excuse billing cycle and all that. Is your billing cycle for 4 months. I meet my whole money back. You are fraud cheating people

Beware! This company sells high-priced tickets and don't provide accurate/important information when you book the flight with them. Very poor service. If you call them to resolve any issues, the wait-time is very long and they are not helpful at all. Their whole intention is to steal your money by changing or canceling the flight and keep your money for their own benefit. Never buy ticket from them... it's trap. Buy the ticket from the airlines itself. Highly unethical people!

I have been using Travel pod for many years. Lately from last 2-3 years, i have seen the service quality has come down. Customer service team is always keen in booking at the first discussion without given time to decide and check more. There has been always a verbal communication and no details sent via email.
Lot of Bad experiences with Travel pod while booking ticket for myself and family. My recommendation is to choose other travel agency and NOT CHOOSE TRAVELOPOD based on my personnel experience.

This company could care less about its customers. They take your money and don't care about your experience bad or good. My trip was a very stressful funeral trip and they made it so much worse then it should have been. This is my 2nd review with this company. They did not reach out to me to help resolve my issues at all. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

1st they charge you more then what others charge you for same tickets. I was charged $103 extra on each ticket from NYC to Delhi and I have to reschedule my tickets, as I have an emergency back home. These people take full advantage of my emergency and charged (basically double charged me and said it was their "AGENT FEE") $256 extra on top of what Airline charged me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I got scammed by this company I called to the wrong number thinking was United airline and they were pretending are United Airline, canceled my ticket $243 and sold me a super expensive ticket $596 just for change 3 latter in my last name. They told that was the only way, later I called to the right number of United Airline and told how easy is correct any mistake in the name of the traveler. Now I expended 300% more and I had to wait one day more to leave to my destination. The name who scammed me is Adrian scott phone *******590 Extension 431 number *******844

United Airline can no do nothing if the ticket is canceled. And they even paid way more less that I paid.

Tip for consumers:
Don't ask them to manipulate your tickets, go directly to the airline

Hello every body.
I wanna tell to every body do not deal with this agency. They are not honest.
I bought the air ticket for my wife and my two years old son for almost 5000 $ and they mentioned they have hotel and meal with it. But did not throw.
It is two days travels but no food and no hotel for them. They just want to get the money. Does not matter for them if some one will face with any problems.
My advice for all people do not buy any ticket from this agency.

So this is a pathetic site to book your travel. They single handedly spoilt our summer plan. Booked 3 return tickets through these guys from Boston to New Delhi, India for May - 2 months in advance. They did not inform or ask any questions and recommended Virgin atlantic with a change of flight in Heathrow, London. Only at the airport did we get to know that we needed a stamped visa or a UK transit visa. When contacted them they first agreed their mistake still pester us to bear the cost of fare difference and asked us to get a transit visa. When we applied the visa, they started pestering us to book the ticket earliest within 2 weeks else there was no availability for further dates and for that they tricked us to acknowledge that we waive any further problems. As expected the visa didn't arrive in time and then they changed their tune and started asking more money which was close to original price and they r not returning my money too it is $2600. This is not fair.

I am going to take a legal course to settle this for good. But as a warning to fellow travellers, avoid this site at all cost. You are better off paying few extra bucks with others or direct booking but these guys are complete scam.

I tried reaching out to them after there response to make it rite and they tried to rob me again saying no they couldn't do anything more for me after they charged me 500 more then the airlines would have there resolve letter was just a show of nothing its a scam they r just there to try to steal more of your hard earned money I was supposed to have had a trip of a lifetime and yes it was wonderful but what they put me and my family threw was horrible but enough of my ranting I wish I could sue them for lying cheating or something

DONT DO IT, IT MIGHT SAY ONE PRICE but they lie they make things up they trick u telling u u. Will get a ser charge on canselling before they even book it for you, the price goes up. They tell u have 3 hours to cancill without having a penalty its all false, dont do it i got robbed and probably u will to one way or another. I am so unhappy with my experiance. I wish i had another 4400 to book another flight and cancil that one

I booked my tickets with Travelopod yesterday evening, and they had charged me $500 more than the actual airline price. No accountability! I understand ticket prices are dynamic, but in my case the tickets prices are $500 cheaper than their offered price, They had provided me inaccurate information and wrong fares, as per airline policy tickets can be cancelled with in 24 hrs but when i called the customer service to do this they are not letting me to cancel my tickets. Very poor service. Buy the ticket from the airlines itself.
