Beware! This site gives you a nice low price and as soon as you type in your credit card information to book it, they send an alert saying that the price changed. I have tried it several times from several devices for a few different flights. They just try to trap you that way. I would not recommend

I and my husband tested covid positive and could not fly back from Delhi to Frankfurt. We applied for a medical waiver and the airlines approved it over the email.
Now travelgenio is not issuing us our refund. They don't even have the courtesy to reply to email. Even if I call they don't try to understand the problem, they just say call the airlines again and again. Its been 4 month now. Please find below the flight Details:

The site does not let me cancel my ticket because of a page error. It does not let me contact them because they offer no way to make contact. I paid extra to have a ticket I could cancel but it is not possible to reach them to cancel. Had to go through AMEX to get my money back! Go to the site yourself and click "Contact Us" It says to go to MyTrips to make contact, but there is nothing there for making contact with them. Garbage service!

I just had to call my credit card company to file a dispute! This company took my money, didn't offer me a boarding pass OR a seat number. I purchased the highest level of protection insurance and when I tried to change to a day earlier (after waiting on the phone for 40 min) they said they couldn't do anything. I told them it was less than 12 hours since my purchase. They said bc it was Madrid it was past 24 hours...
They didn't understand that while time changes over seas, the amount of hours is the amount of hours. I am so livid. I am not waiting to get my money back and will take a while... Do not use this!

This company is complete trash. I spent a few hours getting information on their "policy" and their third party refund department (who also never responds). Then entered all the information to request a refund and nothing came. When I tried, multiple times to work through my credit card Chase, I was told that because of the airline's stated policy they could not submit a dispute since I was the one, not them, who canceled. Criminal advertising apparently does not count as fraudulent. This is the 4th out of 4 negative experiences I've experienced with a Spanish airline or travel agency, unfortunately.

I'm not 100% sure how I booked with this travel agency (so I missed these reviews and would've skipped them), it was several months ago before our departure date. Searched many sites for booking everything. Boils down to between this agency and the airline (Air Portugal) customer service is absolutely horrendous! And both will take your money! Please stay away from both. I could go into detail to back up my review. But I don't think there's enough space here let alone space in my head to do it.

Call centers in Travelgenio are not reliable and untrustable.
I called them to cancel a flight and they confirmed i will get a full refund within 2 days and without any charges. After two days, i was surprised that no cancellation has been made and i need to pay all cancellation fees.
Impossible to reach them by phone calls and emails, neither they dont respond on their internal messaging.

We haven't travel because of sickness. We have not received refund from Travelgenio, although the Lufthansa informed us that they have already paid the refund to Travelgenio (the agency that we bought the tickets from. I book during a plane ticket with Qantas for Adelaide just before lockdown. I was given 2 option by travelgenio either leave the plane ticket open and book new dates lates on the same itinery, or pay 50 euros to be able to use the credit on other flight with the same companie valid for 2 years. I sent an e mail that bounced back saying my email needed to be the one I booked the flight with(it was!) so I called qantas and they gave me the procedure travelginio needed to do (a phone call to update the voucher so I could use it)Called 3 time ( 2hand a half)and the customer service just kept draguing me on, dictating new condition, lying on what was written in the email before, twisting the reality, taking you for a fool, And at the end they are just not going to try to help you. That was my last reservation with them! Ho and I forgot they keept the fees that I paid to change my plane ticket into a voucher I will never see 50 euros in addition of plane ticket price. What a rip-off!

I booked ticket with them to Munich. Lufthansa allowed date change on my return flight. However, after calling so many times and emailing them they simply refused to change my date. Then Lufthansa did it for me. Travegenio's customer service was rude. I'm not booking a ticket with them ever again.
