I tried to contact them from phone, mail, and forms but no answer at all. I mean one week without an answer? WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS? I have flight on Egyptair and they will stop all there flights in Thursday and I need to change or cancel my flight! This is my conformation number. XKTMPE. I received a notification that my flight was canceled with no explanation. I tried calling and filling out a service ticket but they are completely unreachable. I have been trying for over three days and phone just keeps disconnecting after a few minutes. I have wasted HOURS trying to talk to someone but still haven't spoken to a human yet. Word to the wise... NEVER BOOK WITH TRAVELGENIO! You've been warned.

I don't recommend this company to anyone. They don't answer at the calls and even if sometimes you are having luck, they don't help you to resolve the problems. I wrote a lots of request on their website and nobody respond to me. This was to worse experience ever because I wanted to cancel or change the dates because of coronavirus and they didn't helped me. Also keep in mind you have a lot of minutes when you call them, I stayed at the phone 1 hour with them in order to receive an answer.

I booked a flight Rio-Italy supposed to depart on 18/03/2020. Part of the flight was cancelled and rudely I did not even get any notification about this change and my destination suddenly became Lisbon instead of Napoli! Such inconsiderate complication happens at the peak of pandemic pre lockdown. I wanted to cancel and could not reach then by dozens of call, dozens of email. It is desperate! So many hours of life wasted for such scam.
The airline TAP confirmed I had rights to cancel. To my surprise, after 2,5 weeks of unsuccessful attempts I got an email back only 4 hours before my flight was supposed to depart saying that it will be cancelled with a 30USD fee and refunded back to my account (But why do I have to pay a fee if YOU CHANGE COMPLETELY MY ITINERARY?).
Beginning of May I checked with the airline TAP and from their part this was already solved and the money is supposed to be back on my account. SO WHERE IS MY MONEY I ASK?
I gave them 6 weeks as I do understand there was a lot to be solved but now it has been a while. 2 weeks back I sent 1st email, 2nd, few days ago 15th... They basically ignore you intentionally. Human trash behind, never have I ever experienced anything worse in service. I am asking Travelgenio to contact me back ASAP and inform all the people who entrusted you their money to regularly inform about its movement otherwise I will investigate lawyers.

As I am not able to get through via phone or e-mail, I will have to go through these mediums. It is not my intention to give you a bad review, but I have no other choice if I am not getting an answer here.
You changed my flight schedule to 2 days earlier and I am desperate for a reply as the flights you want to put me on are in 2 days instead of 4!
I am moving all the way to Australia from Europe and this a massive deal from me.
When I looked on checkmytrip.com I realised that my flights have been changed (2!) days in advance.
I was wondering if there would be any chance to still travel on the 15th but take an alternative flight route? I am happy to leave from Paris or take connecting flights from Brussels to Frankfurt, Zurich or Munich to be able to reach my ultimate end destination, Darwin.
If this is not possible and I have no choice but to depart on the 13th, I am expecting appropriate compensation for all the changes I will have to make to accomodate this. Please keep in mind that I am not living in Belgium and will I have to travel from France to Brussels airport.
Whatever the outcome will be, I want to make it clear that I do NOT in any circumstances want to cancel my booking.
Please reply to me as soon as possible as this is getting quiet urgent and I will need to start planning my transport to the Airport.

I booked my flights back in September (yes, 6 months ago...) to go see my family in London. A week before my trip, Travelgenio said they needed to change my itinerary because there were issues with some flights. I said ok and accepted but the changes but they never actually did formalize the changes in flights and in the end, the trip had to be fully canceled (no fault of mine).
Travelgenio customer service told me at the time (in a written email) I'd get a full refund between 4 to 8 weeks from the cancellation date.
It is now 6 months later, Travelgenio will not reply to my email or my calls (which costs £5.30/minute by the way, and you are on hold for 3/4 of it!) I am in the process of involving legal authority because its a joke at this point how bad they are.
Never booking with them again, and I am spreading the word of how bad they are to anyone who will lend an ear.

They got in touch with me through SIteJabber and told me they would od something. I sent another email to their customer service (5th email so far...) And obviously I still have not gotten anything. This company is 100% a scam and they are taking advantage of you. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM.

I had a flight booked through Travelgenio with Aeroflot airlines. Currently, due to travel restrictions if I take my flight (from Japan to Israel) I will not be allowed off of the plane because of Israel's travel restrictions. Aeroflot was very prompt in dealing with this issue and confirmed that my flight is eligible for a full refund and all that Travelgenio has to do is call Aeroflot to confirm this and issue my refund. After hours trying to get through to Travelgenio, I was able to speak to somebody (ended up speaking to 4 different reps) and they have all been extremely rude to me (2 hung up on me outright) and told me it would be dealt with within 24 hours. It has been 6 days, I've stayed on hold for hours to talk to many different reps, sent many emails and now I am stuck in a foreign country with no way back because Travelgenio is absolutely incapable of providing any travel services whatsoever despite the fact that they claim to be a travel service. This is a scam company and it is absolutely inadvisable to use their services for any reason. Please avoid this company at all costs!

It is worst experience I've ever encountered with Travelgenio. The company had a lot of hidden fees and charges not transparent. When I requested refund, they are not only charge me additional penalties, but also charge me administration fee. I just get off phone with their representative who said it gonna take one to three months to get my refund back. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

My booking canceled finally after lot of email and calls. But the payment not yet refund. When i check with airlines they said they already refund to the travelgenio but from travelgenio didn't trasnfer to me. The customer service very poor. I called lot of times and no one is answering

It was my mistake to not trust these reviews. I booked a flight to Milan which I wanted to cancel given the coronavirus outbreak. EVEN THOUGH THE AIRLINE IS ISSUING REFUNDS TO EVERYONE INCLUDING TRAVEL AGENCIES, TRAVELGENIO REFUSES TO GIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS THE REFUND. Total scam, I suspect they're just hoping to pocket the refund to make a profit.
I asked them if they had contacted the airline to get a refund yet, and they said that they "cannot make outgoing calls". No one at their company can make calls to the airline? Then how did you get the tickets in the first place?

This is a company that has rebooked my flight many times and has not informed me. They haven't sent the e ticket or had the courtesy to contact me to inform me. My layover is for 2 days in Shanghai! They should provide something as this is way too long of a stay. I've been trying to call them but no surprise, they don't answer and then the call ends automatically after a few minutes. So much for an 24hr service! I will be taking this matter to court and reporting them to the fraud team soon as this would be considered a scam. Never going through them again. How horrendous!

Had a flight from LAX to DPS with a layover in China scheduled for Feb 28. However due to the Coronavirus outbreak and USA travel restrictions we had to cancel. I've contacted this company 5 times now for a cancellation and refund. Still no response. I am seeing the generic response telling you to contact their customer service email address. News flash! That has been the email address we've been making the request to. I don't understand how this place is still in business, wish i would have seen these reviews prior to booking with them. Now i am having to get my bank involved. This place needs to be shut down, this is criminal.
