In my opinion, the customer service DOES NOT EXIST so I recommend you should not make mistake off buying ticket on this website and also buy from official airline websites
Never book through Travelgenio! I need a refund for one of my flights and since the begging they are totally unreachable! Their phone lines don't work and when creating an incident online it tells you "there is a problem with the request, try again later".
So you cannot contact them neither over the phone or by the website. I want the refund for my flight but I'm not sure if I'll ever get it. Terrible...

Alitalia canceled my flight due to COVID-19 on March 7th. I requested a refund with Travelgenio, and they emailed me back on March 10th, saying they were processing it and requested it from the airline. Alitalia has stated they issued a refund to Travelgenio, and I need to get my money back from Travelgenio. Side note Alitalia also told me never to call them again after they yelled at me about not having my money. Since March 10th, I have sent four more emails and called At least five times and have heard nothing from Travelgenio. Someone owes me my money! The least they can do is stay in contact with me. I would not recommend Travelgenio unless they can remedy this issue.

Hello, my name is Benvinda Nascimento and i purchased some trips to Naples but they were cancelled because of Covid-19. I contacted Travelgenio and they told that they were going to proceed with the refund has soon has possible, but i didn't receive any email of that concerne. I'm trying to reach you over a month, and it's ridicullous how you discart people by telling them to adress to your email of customer support that does'nt work at all. I've learned my lesson now, never bye airplane tickets in travel agencys, you are irresponsable!
Once started the petition online, as a third party, we've to wait airline tp authorise and manage it. Once we receive it we will refund it in the same payment method used in the booking process. This, due to the actual situation, will take a few more weeks than usually. Regards
.. Which makes things very complicated and stressful when something like COVID-19 outbreak happens and your flight gets cancelled. No response or reaction for emails. At all. Have been checking with the airline itself but they are not able to help as the flight was booked through 3rd party. I hope there will be a way to get a refund or at least a new flight. Hello, my flights were cancelled on the 23rd of my March due to coronavirus, and I am now stuck in the United Kingdom. I've been reading the reviews online of travelgenio and I feel very distressed that I may not be reimbursed for my flight, which leaves me in the dreadful situation of not being able to pay for another flight home. Obviously at some point, when travel restrictions are lifted, I have to get back to Australia. If a refund is not forthcoming, then a credit voucher for a return flight is the least your company can offer. If you do not offer me either of these alternatives, you are effectively leaving an 18 year old stranded in the United Kingdom with no means of getting home.
I AM EXTREMELY STRESSED, as I'm only an 18 year old having to pay for accommodation, food and my safety during this crazy time as I can't get home. I am asking you to please see your way to issuing a refund now or alternatively a return flight. I used your company in good faith and am bitterly disappointed as well as extremely worried that to date you have ignored my numerous attempts to contact your company.

Our Experience with Travelgenio: Due to the coronavirus we were not allowed to enter the country we wanted to visit anymore. Few days before the flight our flight even got cancelled by Emirates. Emirates states that every cancelled flight will be refunded. Unfortunately we booked via travelgenio. We tried to contact them via E-Mail and phone a few times but didn't hear a single word until now (2 weeks later). The Website doesn't offer any helpful information in terms of corona. That's the least I would expect from a travel agency! We will have to take legal actions, if they keep ignoring us.

I booked with them and it's costing me more to cancel my flight with them $150 vs $60 from the actual airline. On top of that they have told me 2 times that the refund has been processed, 30 days still nothing. Its almost impossible to get on the line with them. NEVER USE THEM, DOUGHY SCAM! I had bought a flight from SFO to Cancun with internet trough travel genio almost a year before the date of departure and just a few weeks before travelgenio has changed my itinerary from 5 and half hours flight to a 20 hours and the possibility to cancel with a refund due within 3 months. Since September 2019 I have kept calling and the told me the refund was taking longer due to Christmas and than other excuses, sometimes they hang up the phone on me after having put me on hold. I wrote customer service and facebook pages saying I will take legal action and even with that they never replay me. I will never ever use this site anymore. I f I could give a zero to the reviews
They will con you. They won't refund your money back even if the flight itself gets cancelled citing various reason. Just avoid them and trvel2be.com they are the same company

I've sent emails, created tickets, used Twitter to cancel my flight ticket and they say the same thing to everyone "you will be contacted in a few days" and they NEVER reply. I am afraid to loose my money because my flight will depart and I can't cancel!

Travelgenio is not a proper agency. They book the flights, and that's where it ends. If you're lucky enough to not have any problems, you could be completely happy with them as your trip could go just fine. But if you have anything you need help with, they're non-existant. No responses to any form of communication. No replies to their online form, e-mails, tweets, impossible to get them on the phone - they just don't answer AT ALL.
All I need is to be refunded the money for my flights which have already been cancelled by Lufthansa and for which Lufthansa is offering refunds. My booking reference is JT03LT.
If I had booked with Lufthansa, it would have taken just a few minutes to fill in a form and know that my refund was being processed. After weeks of trying to contact Travelgenio, I've still no idea if this "agency" is a scam, or if they'll eventually refund me.
I would rate them 0 stars if I could.

In a nutshell I booked a return flight to Singapore for the 01/12/19 and paid $975.57
Unforeseen circumstances didn't let me fly that day. Qantas has reimbursed Travelgenio, but I never did get my money back from Travelgenio. Numerous telephone calls and emails to customer service remain ignored. Nevertheless we all who have been conned by Travelgenio, have a good chance to get our hard earned money back. If we all stick together and hire one lawyer who is experienced in that field and file a mass suit against Travelgenio, let's see what happen then. Trying to manage my booking on my computer I gave my booking number and family name as asked. Answer: we can't find the combination of booking number and family name. I tried several times. Same answer. I even tried with family name of husband and combination my family name and family name of husband. Send three times an e-mail. No answer. Try to make 4 phonecalls. After a waiting time of about 5 minutes it was stopped abruptly. I know my flights from Auckland to Amsterdam are cancelled due to covid-19. Now we have to book an new flight by our own because we have to leave New Zealand because of expiring of visa. Looking for a way to bring it to justice. Probably they got back the payed, refund, the money.! From the airlines and we won't see a penny of it.

If I could give 0 stars I swear I would! I booked a flight from Berlin to Japan 1 month ago. Due to this outbreak of the Coronavirus and the resulting travel restrictions my transit flight from Hong Kong to japan was cancelled. The 2 previous flights are still booked and I don't wanna take em anymore. It's been ducking 3 weeks I'm trying to contact them, called them several times until I got once a woman she told me that these types of situation are handled by a special team and that I should write an email what I did and no one got back to me to this day (wrote ******* mails beforehand). Kept calling them them til a lil bit more than 1 week ago a guy answered I explained again and he said I should wait a week they'll contact me no one ever contacted me. So now I'm supposed to be flying in 6 days I have no way of contacting them and as soon as I call them they literally just hang up on me! Never ever ever trust this traveling agency they're scams I hope your company's gonna burn because this level of unprofessional behavior shouldn't exist.

I've tried contacting them 10 times through phone and didn't work. I tried contacting them through mail and no replies. I cannot travel to Malaysia now that the country has recently gone into lockdown. Trying to get a refund back from this company but all form of communication is blocked because they are not replying.
