I have seen many negative reviews, and this had caused an initial reticence to use their services. But this company has never failed, even when Royal Mail did so many times this year. Their team work hard to provide quality and satisfaction, and their competitive prices are outstanding. Therefore the review is written as I left it was right, since there are many negative reviews. Not sure if something changed, but now and for me this company is just N1. A++++++++ Thank you to Transglobal Express.

I was turning onto hwy 75 from I39-90 in south Beloit Ill on 9-21-23 at 7:30 pm. I was in left lane global Express driver in right lane. As were turning global Express driver cuts into my lane and I slammed on my brakes and the trailer came within inches of my car. Followed driver into truck stop to see if he was intoxicated the driver said he changed his mind on lane change. This could have been a fatal accident.

Bad Customer service: We sent our parcels with them and they delivered them opened with some books missing and they claimed that it is the customs: customs have X-Ray machines and when they suspect something they open it and seal it back, but our parcels were open with a cutter and books stolen. We called them to draw their attention to this act but they just ignored that...What a customer service...Zero Rating for customer service, Zero Rating for Business ethics, Zero Rating for the way of doing business, Zero Rating for handling the issues. I have attached two screenshot to show how your parcels will be delivered with Transglobal Service

Placed an order and paid in full for them to collect a small package (set of headphones left at a hotel) and drop off at my home. Order placed on 31 October 2022 for collection that day and deliver in about a week. STILL waiting to hear from them and it's now 18 DECEMBER 2022.
Cannot get a telephone no. Or speak to a human being. Just a site that takes you around in circles. IF anyone is interested in quality control with the organisation they might care to read this and contact me!

Ordered a parcel to be collected and delivered to me on 31 October. Its now 21 November and my parcel hasn't been delivered! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I do not rate this company, when there is a problem they just leave you and fob you off with emails. My parcels have not scanned at all and have been lost and they cannot tell me where they are. So now I have to resend or refund my customers for the lost parcels as they cannot locate them. Not happy at all!.How on earth can you run a business like this, you cannot just miss scanning. I think they have been stolen. It is a shame as I had high hopes at the beginning, but this company needs to be looked into, parcels don't just go missing!

They are good when everything goes well, but if anything goes wrong, then we have a problem!They are never liable for their mistakes.If they lose or damage your parcel, they start to doubt you, then avoid any compensation and then pay as little as possible and of course it is never their fault...We have to pay extra to have insurance to cover their mistakes! Amazing!

Used Baggage Hub who contract trans global. Boxes to UK from Canada. One box got wet somehow so they put most everything into their box. Umbrella didn't quite fit so they just broke the handle to stuff it in! Then all the wet clothes put in which became mildewy and mouldy. 3 items totally missing! Bunch of thieving crooks!

What a disappointment, I sent a parcel to the USA over a month ago and am confident in the sizes I gave for it, I even added a cm all round so I was safe - or so I thought.

Four weeks after the parcel was delivered, with no way to physical check the measurements now, this company are demanding an additional £50+ claiming the parcel was 9cm larger that I measured it at. They will not give me any proof of the size they measured, but insist if I don't agree then I have to give them photographic proof with a tape measure and the shipping documents next to it - how can I do that when it left me a month ago!

They had every opportunity to provide me with this very same proof when they claim it was realised it was a different size, but they did not, so although they could have proven this one way or the other, they chose not to, and now expect me to hand them £50+ for their incompetence.

You just can't trust these guys, use another company and save yourselves the grief of Transglobal rip off.

I used this company to ship a parcel from London, when it arrived it was damaged beyond repair and they tried to blame it on the carrier and said there would be NO COMPENSATION. Avoid them and go direct to Royal Mail/ UPS/ FEDEX or DPD, as they use them anyway to move your good and they just take a cut. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I attempted to get 1 small pallet delivered for my business, this was to be the first of many but I will not be using this service again. The pallet was to be delivered via DHL, I had to keep chasing it as it had not been delivered. Every time I contacted Trans global express I was told they would investigate, but again it was ME who had to keep contacting them rather than them keeping me informed. Finally after 3 WEEKS I get the original pallet back after no attempt to deliver it! Terrible service and customer experience

Habit of sending additional handling charges from DPD without ever providing evidence, no mention of what the parcel weight was or pictures.

WARNING: A Very Unethical Company

I've been using Transglobal Express for over a decade, I have never needed to make a claim, but I thought that I would be in good hands if I ever needed to. This assumption was VERY wrong, and Transglobal Express have caused me to be thousands out of pocket. Let me explain.

I sent a package with five items valued at over £6500 with Transglobal Express. They did not offer insurance to this value, only to £2500, which I took out and paid handsomely for. The parcel arrived with a huge hole in the side taped up with 'Repackaged by DHL' tape, unfortunately two of the smaller boxes inside the main box were missing, a retail value of £4100.

At this stage I felt it would be a fairly easy process considering the box was photographed by the driver with the hole and tape covering it and photographs were taken on collection showing the box was in perfect condition and I was insured to £2500 so it covers a large portion of loss.

Transglobal initiated their 'investigation' process, and around three weeks later they declared that DHL won't 'accept liability' and therefore this makes them 'not liable' either. The first instance of Transglobal not understanding consumer law and how the concept liability works. They offered a 'goodwill gesture' of a 'proportional compensation', declaring that because only 2 of the 5 items were missing, they would only offer a percentage of the total insurance value – basically what they unethically do is split your items into percentages, and therefore this allows them to reduce the compensatory amounts to suit them.

Here is a hypothetical example that was put to them to form an analogy

A person wants to send a £2000 Gold Watch and a packet of pencils (£10).

The watch for his dad, his birthday and the pencils for his mum, a budding artist.

The value comes to £2010.

So he insures the parcel to £2010.

Sadly, during transit, the box is broken and the watch is lost. The pencils arrive fine.

The claim will be fit the missing item, which is valued at £2000.

Their response was, and I quote,

"it is 38% of the total. In this case they would have been offered £769 as £2,000 is 99.5% of the full insured amount of £2,010 and they would be offered the same 99.5% of the insured amount of £773."

This is the unethical bit. They are dismissing the value of the missing item, £2000 watch, by stating that because the £10 pencils arrived they are going to reduce the value of the missing item to £773, less than 50%, because 1 out of 2 of the items arrived!

So, tread carefully when you choose to use this company.

The claims manager has a very egotistical, argumentative and robotic tone and shows little compassion and empathy. I am not sure if it is the company that demands this of her, or it his own persona. She has very little understanding of Consumer Law, yet quotes her ideology like fact - it would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating. Just wait till you enter into dialogue with her, and watch her squirm into defensive mode when you highlight elements of her statements being completely untrue. You will inevitably come up against her and her militant rhetoric if you need to claim – essentially it's a punitive abuse of power as if you do not agree with her and take the lesser offer, Transglobal will give you nothing and I quote another of her lines ' we will fully defend the case'

Probably the most unethical company I have come across in this particular industry. Their business practices are questionable in legal terms, and they will try to whitewash you by referring to their terms and conditions like it is law – it isn't. They fail to understand Consumer Law, therefore it's one of those 'you can't argue with...' moments.

Other real classic moments in this debacle include

1. Yes you paid insurance to £2500 but even though we aren't going to compensate you to the amount of insurance you paid for, we arent going to give you a refund of your insurance payment either. (I purchased something they did not provide in full - consumer law 101).

2. You can complain but I have already spoke to who you will be complaining to and we are in agreement. (no impartial complaints procedure, and told like a threat to ensure that I would be 'wasting my time' complaining

3. Refusal to offer the general managers/owners/directors email address - (fyi the Directors home address is listed on Companies House, just pop him a letter in the post)

Be warned! Transglobal are all fine and dandy when they take your money, but when they fail to provide the service you pay them for and they lose your insured property, they will ensure you are left out of pocket because of their failure.

Unethical is a polite term for this company.

My package is showing that it's been stuck in Smyrna, Ga for over two weeks. I don't live that far from Georgia. They're contact information doesn't work and they don't provide any shipping updates. They're a bit sketchy.

After paying for next day delivery on 3 items, one item dropped and broken all 3 were a week late and Transglobal have taken 5 weeks to get back to me after numerous emails phone calls and are refusing to refund any money and not paying out for any damages. Avoid them at all cost

Beware, do not use it you value your items.

I sent a package with transglobal on a next day delivery service. Paid for a premium service to make sure there are no issues. Further to that I paid additional insurance fees to cover the item as it was valuable.
This item was due to be delivered on the 22nd. Its was not and has not since then.
The last scan for the item on tracking was arrived at destination depot on the 22/12 and never updated since then. Clearly this was stolen by a member of staff.
I have spent many hours and countless emails communicating with transglobal and it is clear they have no intention of resolving this issue. Excuse after excuse. Many times I was told that the item would go out for delivery but that never happened.
Even worse when I asked for compensation and to be reimbursed for the lost item in on of the emails I receive the following response:
"we can review this for compensation once this has been delivered."
Basically what they are saying is that as long as it has not been delivered I will not be compensated and so I will never be reimbursed under the insurance. What kind of backward policy is that? The whole purpose of taking out insurance is to cover you for the full value in the case of loss or theft.
Transglobal have not delivered, nor have they returned the item to me. I have not been paid back under the insurance either.
I am £1309 out of pocket plus on top of that the cost of shipping and insurance paid to them plus countless waited hours trying to get them to resolve this issue without success.
Looking at previous reviews I see this now seems to be a regular occurrence at transglobal.
Be aware and avoid them at all costs!

They completely damaged the box I was shipping my goods in. They then decided the fact the items arrived damaged was due to insufficient protective packaging. Didn't care the box had been ripped open by a cowboy transport allowing all the contents to be thrown around. Terrible company. Awful customer care. Out of pocket! Don't trust them. Don't use them. Cheap for a reason, get what you pay for!

Terrible service. Booked a collection for a Monday, no courier showed up. No courier showed up Tuesday either, or halfway through Wednesday afternoon so I called up to find out why. They told me that their system does not monitor the collections and does not automatically rebook missed collection! So promised it would be rebooked for the Thursday, as now too late for Wednesday, but of course, no show again, or Friday.

Cheaper courier service, but this is obviously why, you get what you pay for.
Arranged FedEx now instead!

My mum arranged a package for collection, they failed to collect on the arranged day. They eventually collected them the parcel didn't turn up, it was only going from U. K. to Jersey but 5 days later had not arrived. My mum had to call them three times before they told her that the parcel was still in the warehouse as DHL had not collected. Still waiting for this package.

I moved from DPD to this company for a short period.
During this period, we have never had so many complaints about late deliveries and lost parcels!

We even had a situation that police had to be involved due to a delivery driver stealing money from a customers doorway.

The response from the Managing Director of FDL (after discussions with Transglobal) after we moved back to DPD was to offer a refund of £341!
(Bearing in mind one lost parcel, worth over £200 (still missing) had to be resent out!

My personal option (with prejudice Mr MD of FDL) is, you are possibly trying to run, before walking!

Stay away if you value your customers and your reputation, stick to DPD!
They may be a little more expensive, but the service is fabulous!

This Disgraceful company just want to hold my friend's retired parents to ransom for £100. They tried to charge £100 via TNT for the delivery of their own possession that was of next to no value. Now they want £70 because the recipient refused to pay for the scam delivery as it has been with TNT for too long and they want an extra £20 to skip the item or they are just going to debit it from a retired person's account.

DO NOT get caught up in their scam charges once the parcel has been collected.

Hidden charges, very poor service, scammy business, be careful. We have been using their services to ship many parcels to USA (10-20 monthly) for number of months, now after 8 months since shippment they come back to us with some warehouse charges that were charged by UPS due to some tiny information lacking on commercial invoice. All contact information were provided ( 2 x phone numbers, 2 x emails) no one UPS or Transglobal made any effort to contact us. It was us who contacted them when we have noticed that it takes too long for shipment being delivered and we have provided information ASAP. Now it is not possible for us to raise dispute to Transglobal as they are only re-invoicing and UPS would not talk to us as charges are for Transglobal. Massive failure and lack of trust. I would not recommend for company shipments

This company takes no care in what they are doing. They damaged my package and don't care about fixing the situation. They are condescending, and I have to re explain my situation every time I speak with them. They have decided to refuse to do anything about my massively damaged package.

Heed the warnings on this site and stay away from them.

I paid $50 for a photocopy of the back of a pinball machine glass when it was sold as being a replacement for pinball machine glass. It would have been a fairly decent at the price I bought it for what they sent me was about a a ten-cent photocopy that was laminated completely useless for what I was trying to do and quite obviously fraudulent complete garbage my $50 would have been more useful as toilet paper

Shambolic and wretched experience. Do NOT use these guys. Their promises are as poor as their service. I entrusted them with urgent legal documents for delivery to the USA via DPD and DHL which are their recommended service providers. I was given a delivery date only to find out that FIVE DAYS LATER the package hadn't even left the UK! In fact it had traveled precisely 125 miserable miles. Transglobal did their best to deny I'd been given a date and deflected all the blame to DPD, but still had not provided a single message about the delays, no warnings, no action, no compensation NOTHING. Choose another company.
