Two holidays with TUI have followed the exact process, but haven't moved to payable. One is over a year in process. The other over 11 months. Lots of being fobbed off, and little action by Topcashback. This is a couple of hundred pounds in total. TUI have managed to pay via Quidco since, so it appears that they aren't flooded with transactions at their end. TCB are a commission based organisation. Surely the bigger payments mean more money for them? Really disappointing performance.

When I do small amounts of TopCashback it tracks through in a matter of hours,However when I do larger amounts of TopCashback it takes months,and usually only get Cashback after a lot of Hassle.One lot took nearly a year.I think it is like a Lottery,you do not know if you will get anything.

Cashback being a commission payment that we share with you does mean it takes a few weeks to progress or in some cases longer. The retailers need to be sure you keep the purchase which is usually the longest element of the wait time. We'll always do what we can to show to people before purchasing the average time it takes to get cashback moved to payable so you and everyone else is aware of this timeframe before purchasing.

Purchases do not always track. Recently with Superdrug. When a claim is made these aren't always upheld. My claims are always genuine. There should also be an option for a partial claim if items meed to be returned.

Thanks for your review, we'll always dispute a claim with a retailer as much as we can and if the dispute is unsuccessful, then give you a reason why.

In regards to the partial claim, if you do have to return an item please do lodge a claim as normal but just amend the information to not include the items you returned. We'll then do our best to recover the cashback for the items you kept.

I have earned a lot of money from Topcashback. Generally I find it really easy to use.
Just lately though I have had a few that haven't tracked and It always seems to be on fairly large orders with better rates of cashback.
Generally, once put to a claim it is sorted out OK, but sometimes the company disputes it, which is annoying when I know I have done everything right.
Nevertheless I would still recommend as overall I have earned a lot from Topcashback.

If you're not already, it's certainly worth clearing cookies and cache before logging in and also disabling ad blockers. This can really help to ensure you don't have tracking issues with purchasing tracking.

Its a good site and in general the service is quite responsive but you can never tell what amount of expect based on the offer you have selected and the calculation is not at all transparent. Takes ages to settle the cashback missing claims.
I will still keep using it to see how the current missing claims will go but it is a pain to keep track of as there are a number of items i had to raise it for.

We aim to make the calculation as transparent as possible. Some retailers make different decisions about whether VAT and Delivery will be removed from the purchase amount before the cashback is worked out. Where we know this happens we do include it on the retailer page.

With claims, while the process is time consuming for the retailer to get back to us, we'll ensure to update you as fast as we have an update. Our best support however, is helping to prevent claims being required by giving you and all of our members tracking support tips.

Been happy over the years with Topcashback.co.uk but not so sure at moment. Had a nonpayment it should have shown up within 48 hours but didn't so I have made a claim and have now been told that i will need to wait until August for it to be sorted. Really I think that someone thinking, if it takes that long to look into that may be the client, will give up and forget about the claim but sadly I won't as its worth nearly £50

Hey Cavin,

The reason we hold back claims until the stay is to speed up the process for everyone. If we were to submit before the stay the retailer could only do half a job at working out if we're eligible for the cashback and so would have to look at it a second time and so it would hold everything up. It's for this reason we submit a claim after the stay so the retailer can check the purchase itself met the terms and that we were eligible for the money we'd pass over to you as cashback.

I hope this explanation helps to understand why we do it in this way and why we don't submit claims like this until after the stay.

Had numerous problems with not getting cashback. Sometimes I get an email after purchase, sometimes I don't. To be honest I have given up clicking to report missing cashback, takes time and effort for pennies, plus after you report it things get 'frozen' for months on end. Don't think I would recommend it to anyone. Too much aggrevation for very little reward

With missing cashback claims, while we have to submit it through a much bigger system we have a team of colleagues who are continually chasing up retailer's and their cashback administrator to ensure the process is as speedy as possible. We also continue to look internally about how we can make this process even simpler for you.

The key for us is helping you avoid needing claims and to avoid that process entirely and so I hope I can help with that by offering a couple of suggestions. You likely are already double checking over the retailer terms already to ensure what you are purchasing is eligible for cashback. Therefore my suggestion is to do with cookies (and not the ones you eat). If you go onto your internet history settings and clear cookies and cache and so this right before using us, this can really help avoid claims being needed.

I do hope this helps and that your experience picks up going forward. We don'ts want you missing out on cashback.

I ordered a game for the ps4 from tcb and while the delivery was safe, quick and only took a day to get here, the site said I had 16 pounds in cashback once the retailer confirms my purchase, the order has arrived so has my delivery confirmation email but the cashback waiting still says pending not payable. I hope we can work this out because other than that it's a great site.

Tip for consumers:
Just make sure you check which retailer you buy from to get the safest order possible.

Most of the cash back tracks & is eventually paid. However it's frustrating when transactions with certain companies offering higher amounts at the time of sale don't track, & there's no follow up even when the missing purchases s have been reported. Topcashback seems extremely slow at resolving such issues, & sometimes seems to make no effort to do so.
I made three purchases over four months ago from L'Occitane using Topcashback vouchers which are still unresolved. I made the purchases solely because of the offers. It's a scam that this company advertised cash back but doesn't pay up.

With claims we do have to use a wider process to get these followed up. That said we keep close attention to the time it takes for retailers to respond and do take proactive action as much as we can to bring claims to a close sooner, rather than later.

If a claim is not successful, it means we have earned no money for the purchase and this is the only reason we also decline the money that we'd be passing on to you. The key for us is to aid our members understand any declines and to help ensure they are avoided in the future.

Appears to take months to get anything back and all big purchases like insurance u rarely get they usually dispute it and for some reason or another you don't qualify

Hey Sandra,

With the large purchases these often come with a validation period which gives the retailer assurance that you will keep your end of the bargain when making the purchase.

For example, if a retailer paid out within 30 days a sum of £250 for a monthly contract that charged £30 a month, there's a huge risk there to the retailer which isn't really that fair on them to take and could also harm our wider cashback rates too.

We do incorporate this time into the retailer terms where possible and also within the wider retailer statistics found on their page on TopCashback so everyone is clued on these times before they make a purchase.

With cashback success, while many earn cashback by just purchasing as usual, there are some tips you can follow to aid cashback tracking successfully such as clearing cookies before using our site, disabling ad blockers and also making sure other web tabs you have open are closed.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on TopCashback. With the time taken to move cashback to confirmed and payable it can vary considerably on the purchase you make and who with. Each retailer first sets a time they allow to pass before they can pay the commission to us who then passes it to you in the form of cashback. They have to be confident you don't return it for example and so have to wait until at least that period is over and then a little longer for processing time to get that information to us.

We employ a proactive team who continue to monitor retail performance and ensure we get paid as as soon as possible and will continue to do what we can internally to ensure all purchases progress to payable as speedily as possible.

Most transactions are promptly dealt with. Nearly half the time I need to chase up the cash-back though. Sometimes takes weeks and weeks

If this is the case, I'd encourage you if you're not already to try some of our tracking tips which include clearing cookies and cache before using our site, closing any open web tabs and enabling cookies. This all helps us to be seen as eligible for the cashback.

Top cashback are today showing avis as having a really high payable rate today. We have booked a car in the USA for October with avis through top cashback and have paid in full. Now I see no my account that the cashback is declined this does happen usually when the cash back is a larger amount. They say contract not complete well ofcourse it isn't as the car is booked in the USA for October but they happily took the money now. So I am having to go through their customer services to try and resolve this which could take months as it has done with other transactions in the past. Then I still may not get it so people need to be aware that these wonderful offers don't always materialise
