Tire Rack

(Tire Rack should advise buyers about this) The installer i selected was surprised by the delivery of my tire, and seemed annoyed he hadn't been notified beforehand. He wouldn't give me an appointment to install the tires sooner than two weeks. I'm driving on a run-flat, so that's a problem for me. So you should be sure you contact your installer before ordering. Otherwise, buying was smooth & delivery was fast

Ordered 4 Wheels and the on line ordering experience was great. Multiple choices with all the necessary specifications provided and easy to understand.
The packages were delivered in two separate shipments which was not problematic. Each wheel was in it own original box. Tire Rack attempted to put an outer box around each box. When the wheels arrived the outer boxes were destroyed and the original boxes were also torn. Tire Rack needs to develop better packaging to protect the product.

It is very hard to pick the right Wheels because the system only goes by car make and model, in which case, I can't find the exact size/width/offset/bolt-pattern/bore-size for my car (and yes, I know EXACTLY what I'm looking for!). So instead, I play around and find the car make-model that will return me the results I need. This is quite time-consuming. Please change your system to provide an option to do exact size searches.

Shopping online was quite straightforward and the website was easy to navigate. I used Paypal to pay with a foreign Credit Card and was told that Tire Rack only allowed Paypal with a US card. That was ok with me; I switched to my US card, but I do think that this was unnecessary, and probably would restrict TR's business.
Shipping was fast and the tires were received in perfect shape.
I would certainly use TR again.

Clear website, easy to use and delivery service was very good. The raised white letter tires I ordered however were delivered with a blue dye over the white detailing. I assume this is a protective measure however after 2 hours of cleaning with soup and warm water the tires still look blue. I will buy a specialized white wall cleaning product this weekend for $25 and hope that works but it is a shame to have to spend more time and money on a relatively high priced product. Thank you

Great looking rotors, shipping was faster than expected. The reason I gave 4 stars is that when one of the rotors came, it was protruding about 2 inches out of the box. The bigger box was in good shape, however, one of the three individual rotor boxes was torn where the rotor clearly pushed out of the box an inch or two during transit. Not really TireRack's fault, aside from maybe better insulation/more packing paper? But was a slight concern upon receiving, but I didn't see any scratches or damage to the rotor so it was ok.

Purchase on TireRack site was great until the 'pick your service center' and schedule an appointment. Simply didn't work. Had to buy w/o service. Tires delivered exactly as promised (awesome). Reach service center (Firestone) who had NO information of the order. Stated "we don't get anything from TireRack... Systems don't communicate" in 2021, really? Heard about API'S? Anyways, room for improvement. Team and Firestone was helpful and got the job done. But they didn't reset TMPS... Guess you just can't get 5 star service these days...

Buying truck tires is expensive no matter how you cut the mustard, so I wouldn't call my shopping experience pleasurable. But Tire Rack made the experience as painless as possible. Definitely a better option than any of my local tire stores, for convenience & cost savings. Thanks Tire Rack! I hope I'm as satisfied with my new tire/wheel package as I was with the purchasing experience.

Follow up after receiving my tire/wheel package. The tires & wheels are nice, & they fit properly. However after installing them, I found they were not balanced properly. I had to take them to a local tire shop & have them reballanced. That was more money out of pocket, & more of my time spent. Not happy about that, but what can I do about it now? Not sure I'll use Tire Rack again after that experience.

Would have been 5 Stars, but the first two times I checked your site, you did not have 4 of the Tires I wanted in stock.
Also, Free Shipping was only available for a Delivery 9 Days from today.
Most other Tires in this size ship within a couple of days for Free.
It is more than a bit inconvenient to have to PAY for Delivery in 6 DAYS!

The tires are NOW on my Leaf and they are great. Probably it is more FedEx fault than Tire Rack that I ordered on Thur for drop ship to my mechanic, got FRIDAY projected delivery, then did not receive until Monday. Busy day at work Mon, so installation was Tues. Good thing I have my winter car to drive. /// Choice of tire: Wanted Kumho but can afford Michelin. Glad you have GOOD STUFF in Stock!

I received the tires two days after ordering them. Had no issues with mounting and balancing however they were slightly out of round and according to the tire balancer, two of the tires had a road Force rating of over 65 causing a little bit of wobble. With the weight of my vehicle though, I have not had any issues with road noise or discomfort but I feel like this could be taken care of by checking them before mailing them off.

Searched a few sites, TR had quick delivery. Made several visits to their site to figure out the installation process. The flow just isn't there. A lot of unanswered questions. Particularly about their own installer that visits your location. If there is a problem with the work say a week later, how does the process work to get it remedied? Couldn't find anything about it in the FAQ, therefore, I did not use this installer.

Very pleasant lady on phone. Answered my questions about the shipment, online invoice showed shipping with xyz but a special note on the packing list online stated the opposite.

I needed to purchase new tires for my daughter's car. No way I was going to have her driving on bald tires in the winter, with my granddaughter and grandson. Safety first. Tire rack was easy to use online. I was able to find the correct tires, and they were shipped promptly to my local tire install location. I feel better as a father, knowing my family is driving on highly rated all season tires. Thank you for the help

Fitment guide and tire/wheel package build by vehicle model is a great feature. The feature to preview the selected wheel on the vehicle is also very useful. Shipping was timely and very satisfactory. These features are 5 stars.

Only thing keeping from 5 star experience is that the lugs sent with my black wheels and winter tires were silver. I imagine it takes literally a micro-fraction of an overall order cost above $1100 to provide matching lugs. There wasn't even an option to pick the lug colors.

I was extremely happy when my delivery got here overnight. I ordered 4 brand new continental tires and got them in less than 24 hours. One thing I didn't like is how they left them in front of my garage as someone could just take them. If they were places in front of my house I have a ring door bell. But other than that I love it!

I have ordered many tires over the years always from TireRack. Service is great and fast shipping. I just wish you offered express payment options like ApplePay. It would make the checkout process more efficient and save me having to go looking for my wallet. I also see you are expanding to mobile install which is great. But you need an online way to check if this is offered in my area. I wanted to know if this was an option and had to call and wait on hold for 12 minutes to be told it is not available where I live.

I had a great experience searching, comparing, selecting tires that fit my vehicle. Customer reviews and Tire Rack recommendation acknowledgements were very helpful. The Free amenities included in price clenched the deal for me.

Tire was in stock, delivered to store when expected, had to call to see if delivered when they should've called me, installed today 9/3/21. Bought 4 tires during a sale 6 or 7 2019@ 183.00/ea, paid 290.00/freight for 1. Great tires BF Goodrich Rugged Trail TAs. I get 60k for each set. Only reason I needed this 1 was an accident that had a 1.5" slice in sidewall which happened on 7/7/21 rear passenger side. Had the store air up the original spare which still looks good, 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 long bed 196k miles.

When I went to pick up my order it was not ready. The email I had received in the morning said they needed about 4 hours to get it ready. I went 6 hours later thinking it would be done. It was not. I waited for it to be completed, about 45 minutes, after pressing the personnel that I didn't want to come back the next day. When I got home, there was a very nice apology and an apology credit applied to my credit card. That was nice.

Thus far I've been very pleased with the services I received from tire rack. I'm also pleased with the services received through customer service from tire rack. Now can you please assist me with providing me a receipt of this purchase invoice, so that I can forward it to your claims department. Is it possible that you can simply send the sales receipt directly to the claim department. The claims number is 203-t r r-4100-*******-1 thank you.

I did not receive a invoice copy of the purchase. I needed this to submit to the claims department because the tire was destroyed.

The chat function on the website works pretty well, I was generally able to get answers to my questions very quickly. I wish that they had had load rating information in the specs though so that I didn't need to chat for that.

My only two complaints are minor -

1) They mark up the Tesla tire pressure sensors by $20. I would have appreciated if they just passed that through at cost in the context of a nearly $1,000 order
2) It always feels icky to me how their sales people ask me to go out of my way to specifically them out over their coworkers when I'm ready to place my order. I wish they would switch to an internally cooperative instead of competitive compensation model, b/c this should not be my problem and does not deserve my time or attention.
