I've always purchased from Tirerack. The extensive reviews by users, ratings, and ability to search by Vehicle make and model are amazing. This helps immensely with my decision making. The UI is very intuitive and easy to navigate, though I wish you had a "Save For Later" button or checkbox next to each tire when the search results are listed. I had to go into each click on each tire and Save For Later on that page.

I absolutely hate the changes you've made to your website since last time I've ordered. For years, it was really easy to just shop by size and have the results in order by price. It doesn't work like that now. It was complicated, a little confusing and just took longer... and this Gen-Xer doesn't like anything making it harder than it used to be. What you had worked. Also, the little window advertising 1.5% off my order popping up seemingly every click at checkout is super annoying.

Got an error message when I only ordered one tire. Assume this is because Tire Rack recommends additional tires match what is already on the car. However, I just bought these tires from Tire Rack in June. They should still be nearly new and ready for thousands of miles, but my mechanic told me the tires are wearing unevenly and are now dangerous because the alignment was off. An alignment should have been recommended when new tires were mounted on the car.

Ordered tires and chose a tire rack recommended installation place (JuffyLube). Upon arrival at jiffylube I was informed that they were unable to install my new tires because they didn't have any certified Present that day. Also, they told me that something needed to be calibrated on their equipment. So, I had to haul the tires myself (female) to a tire shop down the road for installation. Super inconvenient.

My tires arrived at my home in the time quoted; however when I went to a recommended installer, NTB, they failed to honor the tire rack quote. They were over the tire rack quote by $50 or more, so I'd say significant. Contacted customer service and was assured that this would be handled, no later than last Friday. Well it's Monday and I haven't heard anything. Doesn't seem to be getting fixed. I wanted to say how impressed it was with how tire rack fixed a problem, but instead they decided to take the day off.

My tire installer (National Tire and Battery) wouldn’t honor the installation quote provided by Tire Rack. They were no less than $50 higher than quoted. I contacted Tire Rack customer service and believed what I was told. That this will be handled by Friday. Well here it is late in the day Monday; and I haven’t heard back. I wanted to give 5 stars and say that Tire Rack did exactly what they said they would, and what I expected them to do, however, i can’t say that. It looks like Tire Rack customer service is going the same direction all the big outfits are, straight down the toilet.

I needed a replacement set of bolts for my wheels that I had purchased from Tirerack. No local auto parts store could provide them (even when I brought the bolts and the wheel). I wrote to Tirerack explaining my situation and asked if they would sell me the bolts or provide the specs for them. They wrote back "just go buy them at an auto parts store" - clearly not really even reading my email.

So I wrote back to say I had tried that (as I had already indicated) and they wrote back the shortest email possible giving me incomplete specifications for the bolts. I ended up having to post to Reddit to get the real specs I needed.

What this tells me is your ongoing post-sales support with Tirerack is going to be garbage.

Tip for consumers:
Only use this site if you know what you want and don't need any followup support of any kind, ever, for the rest of time.

I just returned picking up my tires and had them installed, experience with Tire rack was positive. BUT it ends there what they imply and not said is YOU now have to PAY somebody to mount and balance my cost 140.00 then asked about future balance and rotation nope at 70.00 each time do the math 3000mi per rotation this makes each tire to end up costing probably 800.00 each after rotation and balance over *******mi period!

I recently tried to order a set of Michelin tires through TireRack (November 2021) The order was placed into backlog more the 5 times with each new deadline coming then getting pushed out by weeks, literally 1 day before the tires were set to arrive. The last order was being pushed from January 17th to February 18th 2022 (3 months for my initial purchase).

Ultimately I cancelled my order as I felt scammed by TireRack.

No response to inquiry emails. Then shows in stock several months later. So order again. Promptly get an email asking if I meant to order it twice. Responded no - just the one order. Not sure what happened this time but i've always had a great experience. I bought tires with rims and opted for the balance and mount. The tires max pressure should be 50 psi but three came with 76-78 psi. One was 35 psi. Thus the balance is off and the steering wheel shakes badly at 50-60 mph. I hope its just bad balancing and not a tored belt in the tires due to the excessive tire pressure. I dont know if i can trust this company in the future. I may have to go local fpr my tire needs. I've been a loyal customer but now i am not sure.

Dont know yet. Ive contacted the company this afternoon havent heard back yet.

I thought that I had completed placing my order on thursday. I didn't receive a confirmation e- mail, so I called tire rack directly. Customer service advised that they had not received my order. I went back online Friday am, and saw that there were 4 tires in my cart. Apparently, tire racks site won't complete your order if you haven't selected a check box regarding receiving e- mails regarding new products. I'm hoping that I don't receive 8 tires, since this is the 2nd time I've attempted to order 4 tires.

The Tire Rack website itself is pleasant, easy to navigate and easy to find tires to buy. If you ever need to file for their Tire Road Hazard warranty, however, get ready to be disappointed. First of all, it's not done through Tire Rack themselves, but through a third-party service. And you have to submit the claim *before* purchasing a replacement tire. If you end up getting a replacement tire first, your SOL and won't get any of your money back.

If, however, you did manage to submit a claim beforehand (because you read this review or were otherwise warned ahead of time), not that you do *not* get the full cost of the tire reimbursed. You only get the raw amount of the tire, so this does *not* include taxes, fees and the installation cost of the new tire, which, depending on the tire, can be as much as 30% the cost of the tire itself! It's a bit sleazy on Tire Rack's part because this detail is of course only written out in the fine print the full warranty terms that is difficult to find.

My problem is not with my tires, but with the services. The certified installer that you referred me to ruined my truck. Not only that 5 days later I have yet to hear from anyone. I guess I'm just supposed to keep on driving it the way it is. I would highly recommend you rethinking using pep boys as a certified installer

Pickup availability and ship dates are conflicting between sales page and once in cart then no customer service available on weekends to help. From Order Date, the anticipated delivery date was missed by 4 working days. During the process, there was no shipping information or tracking information indicating as much. The explanation was 'your tires were supposed to be on a delivery truck but they didn't grab them for some reason (unknown)' Went out 2 days later.
I had scheduled an install appointment that was one working day past when receipt of the tires was supposed to happen. After going to the installer and that installer looking around their shop for 15 minutes, and then me being on hold for an additional 15 minutes, I was told they missed picking my tires.
I had to re-schedule. This wasted at least an hour of my time and my tires weren't installed until the following week. Next time will just go to a tire shop direct. I understand that with COVID deliveries are longer, but if the expectation had been set early on and updates available, the inconvenience would have been avoided. Neither occurred. Unfortunate.

Person who mounted the tires from Tire Rack did a pretty bad job. One of the tires came completely flat and another one started losing air while driving. I went to get them fixed and they said the TPMS were installed incorrectly.
