Another great experience purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster for recent Bryan Adams concert. Charges are high everywhere. So I'm speaking just from my experiences.
I purchased tickets through their website. Concert was cancelled and Inwas notified by then nothing needed to be done. When I called to ask about refund that is where the 'fun' began. They told me i had to contact the person who transferred the tickets to me? HUH? I just followed through with what one of their chat line agents old me to do. Now seems 3rd party sold me the tickets. There was no indication of this when purchasing or trying to download to my phone. My credit card company cannot even verify who has charged me $185 US funds. Fraud fraud fraud!
The site says generally pats out for sold tickets in 7 days past event. I still haven't been paid. I have tried calling and no phone support available. I have did chat only to talk to a bot, nobody has responded. I updated my payment info and still nothing. The 7 day payment hasn't been true in my experience. Very very bad customer service. No live person or response to issues.
Tip for consumers:
Payout for tickets sold may take a while to get paid
They refund you money or not by subjective preference not logic.
Their CS deliberately fabricated a lie claim "sorry to hear that can not go to the event " where the true is their payment system generate dublicated payment due to its error and refuse refund.
Cheap despicable swine with no integrity.

Good luck if you have an issue. The person just kept repeating a script and never helped me figure out a sollution to lmy issue. Sent an email a week ago with no repky.
I recently went to Tickermaster to buy tickets for a hockey game in Seattle. I don't know why I did this but ended buying tickets for the wrong rows. The problem is the tickets I bought were some that weren't available for the event. The map show the tickets available for resale and regualer ones that you can buy. Ticketmaster let me buy tickets that weren't available and charged me for them. Also it showed that these were verified seats. As you know thier customer service is really bad.
The price of a monopoly I guess. If you can avoid it and get tickets elsewhere they will be cheaper. Fees and charges add up to already huge ticket prices...
Unable to reach any customer service, general response on site doesn't always cut it. They have no employees, I was told some one was going to call me about a problem, heard nothing back. They changed the date of my event, that's fine but the date does not work. I just want to change the to a different location, same event different Location and date. No one to talk to, just an email saying my numbers don't let me. I would not recommend going through them, but them again customer service is down almost everyplace.

Concert tickets not sure how we can use them
I avoid this website at all costs. It's nice and they do get you the tickets, however, all the fees that you get almost match the price of the ticket itself. They have a big monopoly of ticket sales and take advantage of it.
Delivery charge?! How hard is it to email something?
Service charge? Fine.
Processing charge? Isn't that what the service charge is? Ridiculous.
I was charged an extra $16.50 for insurance for the tickets I bought and I think should be honored for the sellers.
I have had maybe 6 or 7 experiences buying from, or attempting to buy from, Ticketmaster now. While I'm sure they could be worse, I think for how many artists use them for initial ticket sales, they are disorganized and dishonest. I'm surprised they're even allowed to sell those marked up "platinum" tickets as quickly as they do. A half hour into a sale, tickets that were originally $200 are suddenly $1,200. They used to have a customer service line and an automated phone line you could call to buy tickets, but of course they got rid of those. Buying tickets for highly popular shows is now even more difficult than it already was. Of course, there's always resale, but obviously that markup is going to be insane more often than not. Basically, if you're buying for any show with any sort of demand, you're probably screwed. So good luck!
I was looking for a couple of tickets there and was shocked how they're lying. When you see the sum, click "go further" and the sum is almost doubled. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? This experience was terrible, guys
The cost of the tickets was less than the fees I was charged. I bought 2 tickets and had decent seats paid over $400 and each ticket was only $95 face value.
Strange how these sites seem to get all the tickets on the 'open market' for events first and then are allowed to hike the prices up. They really should limit the mark up to let normal folk actually afford to go to the events.
Ticket Master works fine, but to me, it appears Ticket Master charges fees well beyond they value they provide. This seems to point to some market imperfection which allows these profit margins to persist. Personally, I am happy for a band to get my money if I pay to see a show, and I understand that a venue should be compensated as well. But it seems a little odd that an online ticket reseller charges as much as 30% in fees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ticketmaster#Service_fees
I'd love to see a competitor disrupt Ticket Master's market, but it seems for the time being their exclusive contracts with large live venues will keep their pricing power intact. http://www.nytimes.com/1995/06/15/arts/pearl-jam-bows-to-ticketmaster.html
