Anyone who suspects Thumbtack of committing fraud is correct. I have screenshots of fake lead conversation and "lead" auto replies as evidence. One "lead" even sent me a number to contact them at and accidentally sent me Thumtack's text lead notification number. When I saved it in my phone it saved under Thumbtack's auto text reply. Then upon doing more research I discovered that this had happened several times and I'd been charged for several supposed leads that are actually Thumbtack affiliates. If you dispute it with Thumbtack a bogus reply is generated and you can't get anywhere. You can't win with these people, they're thieves.
