I read a couple of the negative reviews on this site and am stumped. I ordered personalized photo invites for my son's birthday in March and had them in plenty of time for the event which was last weekend. I was very pleased with the quality and service. Any questions I had were answered via email or their "live chat". Surprised those consumers had unpleasant dealings, but I am nothing but happy with my experience..

Do not use this website! I ordered inviations from this place and still have not received them after over a month. The customer service is horrible and they do not respond to inquiries about delivery time. Their website says 15 days of their work days Mon-Thurs for a complete turn around time. I've had to order invitations from eBay just to get next day delivery to invite people within a week's notice. A total waste of money for invitations I have not even received! What a stressful experience! Save your sanity and go with another vendor!

Do not use this website! I ordered inviations from this place and still have not received them after over a month. The customer service is horrible and they do not respond to inquiries about delivery time. Their website says 15 days of their work days Mon-Thurs for a complete turn around time. I shared a very similar experience like the disappointed people - bad communication, late proof, no delivery, and I still did not have my invitations over a month of ordering. I have to say, at least I received a refund after much effort. I wish I would've looked up reviews for this vendor before ordering, I could've saved myself a lot of grief!

I ordered invitations for my little boy's first birthday. I had them to personalize one of their invitations. The quickly responded to my questions by e-mail and sent me a proof. After I paid for the invitations, I have yet to get a response to an e-mail or receive my invitations. The date for the party has already passed. I have sent them e-mails, tried, unsuccessfully, to use their on-line chat, and sent messages through their website. I do not know what to do. I am so frustrated! Terrible customer service... what a rip off!

I also order invitations from This and That Place. They have not sent my invitations, or responded to my email. This company does not stand my there policy. Please do not order from them. Im still waiting on a response from them regarding my invitations. They have the worse customer service. Do not waste your time. I order invitations for my best friend bridal shower, and its very disappointing when you count on good customer service. I reported this company to the Internet Fraud, BBB, and Facebook. This company should not be allow to rip off consumers.

BIG lack of communication! I never received my shower invitations that I ordered a month in advance. It took threatening to report them to the BBB to get a response from them through e-mail (there is NO phone number to contact them, no address, just an "online chat" that is ALWAYS offline). When they finally responded they agreed to refund the price of the invitations, but not the high shipping cost. Which was fine because they promised to send some invitations for sentimental purposes (scrapbook, baby book). I never received these. I emailed again a few times over a period of a few days and finally got an email from them that just said "They have already been sent". I ordered these invitations in February and still have not seen anything and have received a total of three emails from them since receiving my "confirmation email". The most frustrating part is the lack of communication and not having anything for my little girls baby book or scrapbook (not to mention having to call guests last minute for the baby shower because I didn't have invitations). I just really hope this is rare, but I have a feeling it is common with this "company".

Customer service is terrible. I wanted to order invitations for my daughter's 6th birthday party. I customized the wording on the website and they sent me a proof, after I paid them. The proof looked awful. They blamed me for putting too much wording on the card--they actually took off one of the cards borders to make room for my card, but at no time during my typing in the info, did they tell me I had too many characters to fit on the card. They never made any suggestions. Took them 7 days to reply to my complaints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I recommend vistaprint.com and evite.com. They have great quality paper and have always worked with me to obtain the perfect invitation. thisandthatplace.com stated they have never had any complaints--well, here is their first one. Probably haven't had any complaints, only because I could've been their first customer!

I wish I saw these review before wasting my time with This and That Place. I ordered my son's 1st Birthday invitations from them and NEVER received them. Huge lack of communication. After numerous attempts via e-mail, because they do not show a telephone number on their website, I finally located their business through Facebook. I had to write a comment on their wall stating that I had never received my invitations and that no one has returned my e-mails. Immediately I received a response. Funny!?! Also, my comment was removed from their facebook wall. Guess they didn't want people to know that someone was not a happy customer. I was told my invitations were mailed out April 5th. His birthday was the 24th. This was at least 5-7 days prior to his party that they contacted me. They sent me my invitation via e-mail and told me to take it to Wal-Mart to have it printed out. The colors were all off and I had to send them an e-mail asking for some kind of reimbursement since I had to pay one hour photo fees to get my invitations in the mail. They told me that they could only give me store credit. Like I would EVER want to do business with them again. I sent them numerous more e-mails requesting a full refund. No response. I had to file a complaint with Pay Pal before they answered me. Again, they said only a store credit. I told them word of mouth is a very deadly thing and I will tell all of my friends to NEVER buy from them. I told them that in my many years in customer service and in the legal field that I have never come across a company so unwillingly to make amends with a disgruntle customer. Still no response from them. A couple of days later I received a full refund in my bank account. Hope this helps others. Stand your ground and do not let them bully you into a store credit. Because I had to contact them twice via their Facebook page I was blocked from them. HA HA Oh well. Please do not waste your time with this company. Their prices are cheap but that says a lot about their customer service.

After a couple emails I approved the design for the custom cards. Paid and no response. Several emails and "live chat" attempts later... no response. I would not recommend this vendor for anything. RIPOFF!

I ordered some Minnie Mouse cupcake picks (personalized) and never received. This was almost one year ago and still no word nor email from these people. I even reported it to the BBB and no answer still. That was 20 bucks down the drain! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I have had the same experience as everyone else. I order escort / place cards on May 6th, for my wedding & I still have not received anything. I call every day during custmer service hours, with no answer. I leave a message every other day with no return of phone calls. I have sent them messages through their site and e-mails from my address with no response. Too bad I don't have a facebook page... Due to looking at other posts though, I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I have disputed the charge on my credit card. My charge went through Paypal and although it is past their dispute window, they have told me they are already in dispute with this company overall. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

This is the worst. I ordered invites on 6/18 and today is 7/3 and i have yet to recieve them. The communication is shot and they have responded to 2 of my emails. They give no cash refund, just store credit. They have no phone number. They say the reason for that is because they want to record each convo, so? Before you started this website, you should have installed a phone number where your customers can contact you. I did not notice any of this till after i paid for my items and was wondering what was taking them so long to ship it out. The online chat is NEVER on. Then it says from 7 pm to 930pm. What type of hours is that? This operation is probably in someones basement. Well, i wouldnt recommend a DEAD person or my worst emeny to this website!

Ditto with all the other negative comments. Only one thing, it got worse for me. FRAUD! Yes, no responses, no cards, you name it they are frauds. Three days after the "purchase" of cards with them, on the same Chase credit card, Chase contacts me to see if I ordered anything from three different vendors - FROM THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY! I told them no. Chase said they didn't think I had, that is why they contacted me, to alert me of possible fraud on my account. My money has been returned, as Chase stopped the transaction with thisandthatplace.com. They also said none of the fraudulent charges in Turkey would be allowed to go through either. So fortunately, my account was cancelled and a new card was issued, with no real harm done to my finances. JUST ONE BIG HEADACHE! I went to thisandthatplace.com to see the website today, and happilly their account has been SUSPENDED! YES!:-D

I ordered from this site and they were a day late getting my proof but the items were really very good quality and worth the wait for them. They were always very good and I've ordered from them several times over the years for different events. I recently ordered about 2 weeks ago and I already have them in hand. Maybe something happened to the owner and his wife because they were always very good and im surprised that this is happening to you guys! I hope everything works out for you guys because they are a really great company with great items!
