I ordered a silver engraved money box to arrive in 2 days. It arrived promptly but was not happy with the engraving. I contacted them and sent a photo and they replaced it and it arrived 2 days later and looked great this time. Awesome customer service. Mistakes happen, so glad they were willing to correct it. Will shop here again.

This is not the same company as the original Things Remembered; they just bought the name, which I wasn't aware of. I ordered an engraved silver ornament for my 8th grandchild. The object was not even close to the other 7. Cheap thin silver looking metal, probably aluminum, tiny print, and almost $13.00 to ship! The first photo shows Sully's (born after Christmas, so I had to back date it) and Brody's, which is what I was expecting. I sent an email with these photos, but never received a response. So I made the phone call. They are now refunding me 20%, but this doesn't really make it right for the last child.

Well my first complaint, boy has the company gone down hill. I ordered an engraved mens bracelet and picked it up at the store at Great Lakes. A young man handed it to me with no bag, never asked. He was rude. I take it out to look at it and it's covered in white goo. I showed him. He could not care less. I asked him to wipe it off. You would think I asked him to extract one if his lungs. So disgusting. So rude.
Another try. Ordered a bracelet online. Received confirmation. Five days after the delivery date I contacted the company. I get an email blaming me and saying they cannot find the order. I sent a screen shot of THEIR confirmation. What a messed up order records system. I requested the ecact delivery date. We will see. Since my paid order was lost by them it may take some time now.
Two big strikes. I'm done ordering from them. MANY other service options out there.

Tip for consumers:
Look for an engraving company with better customer service.

I ordered a snow globe for my mom for Christmas on line. The globe itself cost around $37 dollars, the engraving cost just about the same. (I Love you Mom). I got it in about a weeks time. Upon opening it, at first i thought they had forgotten to engrave it, but it was worse, they had engraved it and the etching is so faint you can barely see it. For the amount they charge per letter i expected to be able to see it. I have ordered two globes from them in past years, one in store and one on line, and while pricey they both came out nice. I have emailed them 3 times since receiving the item and no one has bothered to respond.

I know we are all busy with the holidays and all, but i feel this is poor customer service.

Will take future business elsewhere.

I had ordered a baby blanket for my brand new niece who was born almost a month ago. I ordered the blanket from there store in National City, Ca on June 3rd. Lady told me 10 days so I was like ok 10 days no problem. I happened to be in the mall where the store was at and decided to stop by to see if maybe my order was ready but they just forgot to call me. Nope turns out they did the blanket without my niece's birthday day which I had clearly written on their order sheet clear as day. How in the heck do you do that! So the lady informed me as I was at the store that they had to send the blanket back so they could do the date on it and that the blanket would be in by Friday. I honestly think these people had no intention of calling me to tell me the situation. I feel like if I hadn't gone in today they would have never told me there was a delay yes by only a couple days but it would be good customer service to let the buyer know. Once I get the blanket I will no longer be doing business with them I will take my engraving services elsewhere

I placed an order online and received an email with the delivery date. That day came and i never received my item so i called customer service. They then told me that my order was canceled due to my item being no longer available and that i should have received an email with this information, which i never did. The guy i spoke with was very nice and helpful. He stated we could get a new a better item ordered for the same price i paid before and that he would expedite the order so i would have it by christmas. Well the day he told me it would be delivered came and i still had no order. So i call customer service again and the lady i spoke with was very rude and stated the guy had never placed the order or noted anything in the account. So now christmas is past and i still have no beer mug that i ordered. At this point i will never order from them again and will start using a different company.

My issue with Things Remembered online is that they do not seem to have the product quantity right.

I picked out a lovely vase that said it was "In Stock" for online order and shipment. I took the time to personalize the order with fonts, embellishments, etc... I go to the final page about ready to put in my credit card number and it stated "This product is out of stock and will ship approximately 6/29/2016 (3 weeks away!) I need the item quicker than that so I go looking for another vase. DOn't tell me on page one that the item is in stock and tell my on page 4 that it isn't. Ugh! Off to order something else...

Good news - there is another vase I can order and my local Things Remembered has 2 left in stock. I don't have to wait for shipping. Personalize the order again. Put in my credit card. It will be done by 4:00 today. Yay! Until I get the email an hour later stating that they misjudged their quantity and the store is out of stock. Now my Debit card has a pending charge and is held as unavailable funds in my bank account for 5 days.

Watch those quantities and pick a store that has MANY MANY available (like 8) for the chance to get the item. Otherwise - go to the store and get the item yourself without the online site!

The online site is messed up.

I ordered a custom bracelet for my Mother 4 days before Mothers Day, as it said it was guaranteed to be here by Saturday, the day before Mothers Day! I never received it, so I called and they said it's not going to be here until May 14th, after Mother's Day, then she explains that the reason why it's late is because it could have been out of stock, so I asked why no email? She states to answer my question, saying Oh we only send another email out if we cannot get your product!
In other words, GUARANTEED to get here is NOT GUARANTEED!
SO DISAPPOINTED and upset when you spend 50$ or more and it doesn't get here!
