While the website initially gives the impression it's updated and active, once signed up and logged in, it's a complete dead zone. This is a shame because I liked some of the ideas they proposed, like coordinating groups, but with no one to engage with I wonder why the site owner even bothers leaving it up? Forum posts are infrequent and date mostly in 2016-2018 range at the latest, with the exception of one unanswered question posted this January. Forum entries are highlighted in one section without timestamps, which makes it appear that it is an active site, but further digging reveals it's been a long time since anyone was around. As far as I can tell there's also no way to view what members are actually online if any are. It also tries to tie the site in with your other social media accounts, but it comes off as clunky and unnecessary. The UI is more reminiscent of what you'd see in early social media sites from the 2000's. There's also some weird rewards aspect where you can collect points to redeem on "club deals"? But there aren't any so it's useless. When people were on it looked to be predominantly quilters. This site probably wasn't marketed as well as it could've been, I only found it through a Threads Magazine article. It's a shame because I wanted a sewing/craft site that was less about reviews and forums and more about connecting and sharing. The search continues!
