Claim Your BusinessI am not sure what about now but it was clearly very good website basically about anything being done on that matter absolutely. How do you want to get it back entirely...? I do not see that anyway on many many matters.
Politico until this last year (2023) had a fairly good record of providing analysis from a broadly centrist point of view. Latterly though it has started to issue curiously distorted articles. A recent piece on the electoral state and international reputation of Serbia comes to mind that was wildly at odds with almost every other media report and which frankly came across as propaganda. It seems neither left nor right wing but more intent on serving commercial interests.
Three of the pundits need to lower the stress level in their voices. John Iadorolaa, Cenk, and Anna, and they work themselves up to a pitch that is not easy to listen to, for an half an hour or more. I know it's the insane Trump era and their is much to be shrill about, but it's exhausting to listen to. Also, people on the Left do not need a media outlet where the anchors make faces, and bug their eyes out of their heads in outrage. That nonsense is for Right wing viewers. Tone it down. Let your analsis win me over. I've got the eye bugging covered at my end.
I've found the same censorship from Left Wing embees. In fact, I quit tpf 3 years ago because of harassment from a Leftie moderator. Tpf still has persistent Leftie posters, so the previous reviewer is a typical anti-racist Inquisitor.
Celebrities and Politics - I generally decry the influence of celebrities on politics. But I have to admit, this site is a hoot. It has a searchable database of past political donations of celebrities. For example, you can look up how much Jessica Alba, Jennifer Aniston or Kevin Bacon have donated to campaigns in the past, and which candidates they've supported. It's all public information, collected in a convenient place.
In addition, you can search under headings for Billionaires (see how much the Wal-Mart family has given), Sports Stars (Andre Agassi gave over $130,000 to Democrats), Media (Anderson Cooper, Ben Stein and Hugh Hefner), Business Executives (Jerry Yang's all over the place - I don't know where he stands), and Politicians themselves.
If you want a broader searchable database (e.g., to see what your neighbors, friends and bosses have donated in the past), this Fundrace site is great too:

Supposed to be a local news site but has becomes a political site for the far left. Basically links to national left wing sites, little local news. Essentially has become a blog ussed to bash local political politicans
Good website. Teaches a lot about how economics and politics are intertwined (and, perhaps, how and why that should worry everyone). I sensed a lot of anti-trust sentiment, but I'm an extreme liberal, lol
I especially liked an article about how Jeff Bezos' Amazon strategically uses its location to gain a sales tax edge over competitors. So much for the Marketplace Fairness Act 2013, huh!
Worst publication. Not a shred of objective journalism. Who believes this crap. Maybe a few facts would change my perspective.
When I feel bad about myself, I just think about all the people that read The Daily Beast. I have no idea how this is a legitimate media outlet. It's the real life news equivalent to the radio stations in GTA; if I didn't know better I'd think it was satire. Nonetheless, I'm sure readers of The Daily Beast enjoy sounding out the headlines between the breaks they take to clean the drool off of their chins.
Conservative commentator Bernie Goldberg's site is filled with political opinion sure to resonate with a Tea Party audience. Known for his book Bias and as a frequent contributor on Fox News, Goldberg's biting articles and guest posters Bill O'Reilly and Michelle Malkin give you their two-cents on current events and America's political landscape.
