“Ordered two dog harnesses, delivered but not to me…no support”

Disappointed, I really liked the products and services of Doggy Dan/The Online Dog Trainer before my last order, and was so looking forward to using the dog harnesses I ordered. I did order an item about a year or so ago, that product arrived no problem. I believe my last order (June) was delivered, but not to me. Dealing with many parties (The Online Dog Trainer; ClickBank; an Illinois company sending the harnesses, DHL Transport then Canada Post because the transport company passed my order along to them after crossing US/Canada Customs). I called the two parties regarding delivery - one indicated I need to deal with Canada Post, CP told me they will only now deal with the company I ordered from. Had to write twice (provided tracking numbers and contact info) because the first email didn't get a reply. After explaining in detail what happened, The Online Dog Trainer indicated "You will need to follow up with your local post from now on, as it's out of our control. " This reply, despite my explanation that Canada Post would only talk with the company directly. Wrote back a third time, but no response. Will now cancel my subscription to the online course because I can't support a business that seems to dismiss proper customer follow up/issues if something does go wrong. I'm out $90 and have neither received my items nor received a fair response from The Online Dog Trainer's customer support. Also note, if ordering, the company that sent my items was an address in Illinois…. No name, phone number, email, website - nothing to contact them except a street address. Gives a bit of a hint as to how follow up could go wrong, I wish I'd paid closer attention to this before ordering. I've tried leaving this review on their site, but "mysteriously" it didn't show up. ALL reviews are mostly 5 star (some 4) another indicator that this company might not be all that transparent. All in all, if you do order their merchandise - you're taking a chance- be prepared for a lack of support if any issues arise.

Tip for consumers:
Be prepared for a lack of support/follow up if the order goes south. Might not happen often, but very frustrating if you’re paying a fair amount for quality merchandise with a company that takes little interest in trying to make things right. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Doggy Dan may be good at what he does, but the four free video's for email sign-up promised were just infomercial vids with maybe about one minute total in all of them put together. Around the 3rd video he gives a hint of 'long leash / short leash' training that to me is uncalled for and borderline negative training to keep your dog mindful of establishing boundaries outside and in -- that in itself made me not want to listen to him any further (and for a monthly fee, I can only imagine what other damaging techniques he would make other owners cause harm to their dog. In my opinion I would say use extreme caution. Look in 'tips' section for exact weblink to vid I'm speaking of. Offer me makes:
"$1 trial for 3 days. After that it's US$37 a month. Cancel any time.
Get a tailored solution to your dog's problem Get individual answers to your questions
OR... Skip the trial and sign up for 6 Months: $147 (save $12.50/mo)"

Tip for consumers:
The four training video's are just infomercials. third video 7 minutes in (with a run time of 7:46) he talks about short and long leash restraining method which made me leary:
