Good service

I always prefer buying from REI because of the rewards points but when REI doesnt have what Im looking for I use The-House. Everything is always as described and arrives really fast but they have no reward points so theyre always my second or third choice

Its ok

The chain was to tight and the brakes were difficult at the beginning and my front bolts were so tight that is bent my piece that covers the Bering and now my front wheel has a wobble

Returns will cost you

Not a great refund/return policy. Spent 1/3 the price of my items in shipping both ways. Probably not going to order from here again unless I am ABSOLUTELY certain the item is a good buy.

Firstly, i have been a house customer for some time (since early trusnow days), my gripe is not so much with the items received or slow shipping (they advise in the order that ground shipping takes time - which is why its free), but the fact they cancelled my entire due to a billing discrepancy and would not reinstate the order when queried - the email response was pretty much "tough sh#t - its cancelled". I called the customer service line and was put through only for call to be dropped / terminated as it must have been close to closing time (it wasn't after i checked). Extremely unhelpfulul when the clock is ticking on sales day. This would have gotten a 1 star review, however i again called the customer service line the next day who helped rectify the discrepancy and MANUALLY redo the order again.

I understand that online shopping has tighter margins that brick and motor stores but its the customer service that differentiates the online stores otherwise we'll all just move over to Amazon for our items.

The House i hope you are listening. Contact your customers to speak with them first.
