I have been a Tervis customer for many years. I was first gifted some Tervis tumblers years ago by my Mother. She already knew how wonderful this company is. I received my very favorite (bloody mary glass) yesterday after being repaired. Sure made me smile, I recently (2 months) ago gave a dear friend a Bloody Mary glass of her own. She is thrilled, and will likely become a customer as well. They make great gifts, because they are a gift that keeps on giving. Absolutely amazing warrantee!

For Christmas my wife bought me a new england patriots stainless steel tumbler. And in less than 6 months the patriots printing started peeling. The cup has only been hand washed and very rarely leaves the house. After waiting on hold for 15 mins a customer service person came on line and told me that sometimes they peel and that it's not covered by warranty. I have a yeti that I've had for over a year and bring it to work everyday. Still no peeling or dents. So if you're gonna spend the money that a Tervis costs just buy a yeti instead

I received these stupid confetti 12 oz tumblers as a gift. They don't look at all like the picture on the website they are so ugly and there's so much confetti in it or whatever it is you can't even see in the glass. I have tried email and calling I can't get any customer service help. Another American made company that should be out of business

Horrible customer service and the shipping time is ridiculous! I live in the same town as the company and it's going to take 2 weeks from the time they shipped it to the time they deliver because they use FedEx. I could have ordered the same products from Amazon and received the items the next day. The Customer service agent was not helpful at all and pretty much said too bad.

Don’t order from them directly, use Amazon instead

I customized a cup for my niece for Christmas. 24oz water bottle. 1) I could not select a color for the lid- only gray. I had to purchase her favorite color separately. 2) I received an email showing my custom layout, I wasn't happy with the placement of her monogram and called to change it, only to be told, sorry, it's already being printed. So, why even send it? Very disappointed.
I do own lots of Tervis- all clear cups, which I will stick with in the future. Please update your customization.

Bought a stainless tumbler, after it was washed a few times, not in the dishwasher, the wrap started to peel off and the lids leaks. Contacted customer service, no reply... pay the few extra dollars and purchase a Yehti!

Tip for consumers:
Spend a little extra and purchase one of the better brands.

Horrible, dishonest company and customer service! Do NOT buy Tervis products! I purchased a tumbler for my son, the lid wont stay in so it leaks. I contacted customer servia via chat and told them the issue and was asked the purchase date. The gentleman said this was covered under the warranty and told me to send the cup in. I paid $12 to send the cup in and then an a dishonest employee said no one would ever tell me to send the cup in and the lid issue isnt covered under warranty. I would not have done any of this had I not been told it was covered and to send it. They now have my cup and lid, i paid $12 to send it, they will not honor their warranty and Cindy is saying untrue things.

Do not rely on the preview when you order a personalized Tervis. My preview clearly showed the 2 dogs and a cat, even the white bodies. I would expect it to maybe not show the white as solid and have some see through areas, but not to just show a head with no body on one of the dogs (the white part on the other dog showed up great). I spoke to a customer service representative. She was not very friendly and blamed it on my upload. If she were to have been apologetic, saying she was sorry, but that white is really hard to do, I would have understood, but she just kept saying that it was my fault and my upload and that there was probably some white where the body should be on the cup, but she thought I just can't see it with the clear shiny cup. I can assure you that is not the case, as shown in the photos. She did say that if I'm not happy with the cup, she can do a one time favor and let me return it. I think that if it can't be redone with a better outcome, I should have at least been offered a discount due to the fact that the cup didn't show up the same way as the preview. I have always been a big Tervis fan, having many cups myself and also buying them as gifts. The representative I spoke with really changed my opinion of Tervis, so I am going to have to think hard before purchasing another one. Also, I've sent two emails to customer service with no response. I've always heard that Tervis has great customer service, but in my experience this is not true.

I have bought Tervis products for over 20 years and the last order is the end of my business! I bought a mug and three straw lids. NONE of the straw lids fit. In fact, we thought we were going to have to break off the lid from the tumbler. The total cost of those lids was $10. When I called to get a refund, they said I would have to pay the postage to return the lids. Of course this was silly since the postage would cost more than the ill-fitting lids. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR "GUARANTEE", THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS!

About 4 years ago I changed all my cup to tervis. After about 1 year I had to return them because of the residue buildup on the inside. When I returned them I got the 12 tumblers in black but the coffee cups I was told had to be clear since green was no longer available. I was also told that In the future my black cups would have to be clear too. Well since then I have replaced the coffee mugs 2 more times due to the same thing. I have not put the coffee cups in the dishwasher at all. They have been hand washed and still are getting very bad hazing and buildup, to the point where it's embarrassing to use them when I have people over. Also 4 of the black cups got water between the seals, but unfortunately someone in my home threw them away. I now have to return all the cups and all I asked for was a dollar for dollar exchange for the stainless cups but was told by customer service and a manager that it's impossible, that it's not company policy. I am tired of driving 50 miles to a company store to exchange a product I am not happy with in the first place, and I see no reason why they can't exchange them for the stainless cups. I tried to talk with someone above the manager Stacy but apparently she doesn't have a boss. Very unhappy to the point where I just want to throw them away. I guess that's what they want me to do anyway.

I ordered 4 coffee tumblers on Dec. 14,2023 and was supposed to get free shipping and deliver by Christmas. I actually paid $10 for faster shipping so that I would get my items by Dec. 19/Dec. 20. By the 22nd, I called their customer service and they said they forgot to ship it, but that they would put expedited shipping so that I would get it by that night or the next day (the 23rd). Well, I received my package on Dec. 26th. After I called them about this issue on Dec. 26, they offered to reimburse my $10 shipping to rectify it. How do you rectify something that can't be rectified, which is the actually on-time delivery? Of course, they should at least reimburse me for my $10 for shipping that never happened timely as a start and then offer some discount for my purchase. Besides just being incompetent, they just don't care AT ALL. By the way, I still haven't received my $10 reimbursement. They deserve a zero rating.

After only a year, the inside of my Tervis mug started to mold. The return process was not easy and I had to pay my own shipping to return the mug! I sent in the lid thinking it also needed to be returned. It took over a month to get my replacement and there was no lid. Customer service said they do not replace lids. I never read not to mail it, so it was obviously an accident. They are making no exceptions. So not only was it a hassle to return the mug, but I had to pay for shipping and now I have to pay for a new lid! Horrible quality and poor customer service!

Tumblers are nice but not necessarily worth the money they cost. Not dishwasher safe and the tumblers gather condensation between the inside and the outer layer of the cup. In addition customer service is horrible. I ordered 30 water bottles for family in different States. One order of 10 arrived just wrapped in brown paper. All other orders arrived in individual boxes, easy to wrap. I had to send wrapping supplies to my family member who had to wrap 10 bottles without boxes- difficult to do. Customer Service refused to acknowledge the issue. I was shocked since I was a good customer and only requested cheap boxes to complete my gifts; these boxes were included with other orders at no extra cost. Customer Service responses to my request were not at all accommodating. Will not purchase anything from them again.

Tip for consumers:
Customer Service made this a horrible experience. For the cost you can buy other products of equal or better quality.

I have 40 tervis tumbler s. They were at one time fantastic. They used to have great customer service and you could trade in your cups at the store. But alas that is all gone. The quality is terrible. They are made cheaply (they crack easily and water and soap enters between the plastic) and they no longer give you credit on returns so you could choose what you like. I always shopped every year for Christmas. No longer.

We have purchased and enjoyed Tervis Tumblers and mugs for many years. We understand from our local Tervis store that they are no longer making tumbles with the decorative designs we have. Only plain clear plastic. This is really disappointing as we often gave Tervis Tumblers as gifts to friends and family. The plain plastic tumblers just don't cut it for us.

Recently had to exchange two mugs (I'd purchased less than a year ago) due to condensation and cracking. I was able to make the exchange locally at my area Tervis store, rather than returning items to the website. It was fast, easy. And allowed me to continue using mugs. I have purchased only plain glassware and am very pleased. I have just ordered a logo'd ice bucket. Will let you know how that goes...
Just a few suggestions, after reading comments from others.
1. Always contact Tervis(or any other company) by phone. Request an e-mail with instructions for returning items. Be throrough in asking just what needs to be returned (cup/lid/tongs?) also, ask what the turn-around time is for the current period.
2. Inquire as to whether items can be returned / exchanged at one of their box stores and whether such a store is located near you.
3. Should you gift a Tervis (or any other item) ask for a gift receipt for your recipient. If they do not offer one, ask how the recipient can exchange item?

I hope these pointers help everyone to have a pleasant experience. I do not work for this company (nor any other!) however, I realize that good customer service sometimes involves due diligence on the customer's part.
