I ordered a Playstation 3 for 179.99 free shipping. I should have known because I always have taught my kids that "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is not true." Well I had to go get a special money order because they did not accept paypal, this should have been my second clue. I received emails from them until I sent my activation code for the money order. After that I heard nothing from them! I waited, anticipating the delivery for my son's Christmas present. It never came by Christmas. We waited a few days until I started checking them out on the web to see if they are a scam. Sure enough. Now I am out and must find a good game for my son but probably won't afford a PS3.

They have taken money but do not deliver the products. I purchased a camera from their site several weeks ago and sent the payment via e-mail using the green-dot pak purchased at Krogers. The transaction was for $209.99. I received correspondence from them until I sent the activation code for the purchase. The money was taken from the card but I still have not received a product nor a tracking number. I sent two emails to get a shipping tracking number but to no avail. I called the number on their website but it was disconnected and the address supplied on the website is to an apartment building...
Cherokee_e is correct. I was on e of the first to write a review of techgear on resellerratings. They scammed me out of $240. They are a Yahoo eCommerce site and Yahoo has been told of the situation, but the site is still up. Do Not, repeat, Do Not attempt to buy from them.
